I intend to share that there is this custom ROM
https://os.revtechs.me/descargas-miui/
I dont really know much about it. But it's a custom ROM, it's not mine, hence I'm sharing it in discussion/news section
Anyone have experience on this ROM? How's it any different from let's say Xiaomi.eu( which I'm currently running)
Installation guide:

unlocked bootloader
- installed Mauronofrio unofficial twrp from fastoboot and command line, found here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-xiaomi-mi-9-t3905825)
- rebooted on recovery mode, holding volume up and power button
- Did a full wipe in TWRP and formatted data partition to remove encryption
- rebooted in recovery mode again, to remount data partition now without encryption.
- transferred RevolutionOS to internal storage (twrp has its own mtp mode to permit transfer by usb-pc).
- flashed Revolution.zip, from internal storage
- wiped system, dalvik and cache.
- Reboot

Using this rom for a week now. Great stand-by time, better then eu. And more de-bloated then the eu version

Installed it yesterday, came from Xiaomi.EU rom. First night only 4% drain instead of 18% I had last night with EU rom.
installed a couple of days ago, great standby compared to eu i'm coming from.

Any bug? Or change log?
Its a great ROM indeed. Though If you want to keep up with the latest. It doesn't update weekly like EU.
Nightly standby from 6% to 3%
But great support and not like the standard xiaomi.EU answer if you have a problem. "it's a Xiaomi problem"

* Download MIUI ROM Flashing Tool (link below instructions)
* Download MIUI v7.1.2.0 LHPCNCK *PREROOTED package file (link below instructions)
* Decompress downloaded ROM file

Wow, thanks a lot for the thread and updates. I struggled for days trying to get around the locked bootloader, as the 7.1.1 stock release had critical bugs supporting multi-language input (activating English/Hebrew keyboard caused GPS and Camera activation to crash the operating system and cause immediate restart). Now, using 7.1.3 ROM with full download mode everything is smooth and stable. Now we can enjoy the phone

Does Android pay work with this ROM. Please test for me.
And don't forget that the traduction with xiaomi.eu ROM is SO MUCH BETTER than the official miui.com ROM.
No chinese crap, Google play services, and modded boot.img to allow twrp reading internal storage without disabling the data encryption.
It's prerooted ?
no, you have to root it
The rom is absolutely amazing , using dev version. Thank you
I'm using the dev ROM too.
Xiaomi.eu are doing a amazing work.
To get SuperSU, just flash the 2.71 zip after a clean install.
Great rom i use dev too but twrp have same problem of not working touch for few minutes

Hi @Rechica, just wanted to report few things here as I'm unable to register 4PDA.
I have installed all of your roms A5_UL 6.0+ and there are few things missing and I want to use a daily driver, your roms are amazing!
I'm a big fan of Boomsound with Dolby Audio, so I chose the S-Rom.
As users confirmed on the sound issue on Cam Audio and In-call volume low, you have again shared an update to it (S.Team-D816-X5-6.0.1_R).
That rom has few issues.
(*) In call volume and camera audio is ok. But, System is protected - Cannot install Xposed framework! believe me, I tried many times - zip flashes but nothing was flashed. I manually tried to flash WP_mod also. Changed twrp recoveries also. No luck
(*) cannot play anything over Bluetooth. - Simply applications stop playing once connected to Bluetooth speakers.
(*) China module does not change in CID settings
So, I have reverted to the 1st S-Rom you shared which can be used daily for the time being.
Is it possible to share an easy fix to that rom @Rechica? Or will you be able to share an update fixing all these?
Hello. This rum, according to the author, the work Xposed not guaranteed. Wp_mod already built. Author ceased to maintain this set and I do not want to deal with them. Because the author asked not to make no changes. Personally, I am 100% satisfied with the stock rom 8 Sеns. Sorry I can not help you.

If you did a factory reset then root you will not. Root is installed to the data folder, it is not systemic. And when you reset, this folder is deleted. In this case, you need to install TWRP in a separate file with SuperSU 2.76

Why is it not on the device list, but on the download things..
Also I read in another thread, that it will be supported when the final MIUI lands on the pad4. So it is great to see, that it is here already.. Now I need to unlock my BL
And from where do I get the TWRP file?
We got Xiaomi.eu support? That's amazing!
Amazing, full driver support direct from XIaomi, with GPlay and multilenguage 10/10
Great.. Why is the unlock process 720hours = 30 days.. What is wrong with Xiaomi?!? The Tab3 was also supported from XIaomi.eu.. But only small releases.. Lets hope for better with the Pad4.
Found TWRP file which is "maintained" by MIUI.it: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262903992312
Very Good!
It's working very well. I've installed it around 2h ago.
Are there directions to help a relatively newbie install this? I've recently purchased a Mi Pad - and it has an unofficial ROM and I'm hoping to flash this one. The device came unlocked already.
First, I followed this link to flash TWRP: stuffcompare.com/blog/807/How-to-flash-TWRP-recovery-in-Mi-Pad4. But I'm not sure that's actually successful. I'm not sure how to boot into TWRP...
Any help would be very, very much appreciated. Thanks.
Power off your tab.
Press and hold volume up + power buttons untill You see MI logo.
After a while TWRP should boot
Installation Instructions: Mipad 4 Wifi & Mipad 4 LTE

After you died in a game, PUBG remains locked in the death cam and doesn't quit automatically to the lobby. So you need to press back button to force the exit menu to appear

it's not my work, i'm just sharing.

this is the fixed version of the TWRP from 4PDA Russian forum.
It's a very good job. Work with last EU.DEV 9.7.25 and also Stable ROM.
If you rom is encrypted : it will ask the password
if your rom is not encrypted : it will not ask any password.
It's a different one from the RED SS one or the chinese one (that we all tried because it was the 1st one available)
For noob user, there is a autoinstallation script to launch from the PC, you just have to put your phone into fastboot mode, and double click on the bat.file.
There is also the vbmeta.img.
Have a nice day!

Do we first have to install de original chinese twrp and after this russian one? Or, we may install only de russian twrp?
I asked that because i though strange that the russian twrp has the half size (30mb) of the chinese one (67mb)!!
