GT-I337 I got recently is stuck in a bootloop. Itll post and then attempt booting and stay on the screen forever. As this phone is completely stock and never touched so usb debugging is not enabled. Factory resetting does nothing, the phone will not wipe the cache (it attempts then errors out and restarts itself). Ive tried flashing TWRP via odin but the bootloader is locked. Trying to use ADB logcat does not seem to work. What route should I take from here?
Flash stock ROM you try

While I did find a similar posts, they were for different devices. I also tryed to search o different sites for similar problems to no avial.
What Happened: After backing up system data and app data then removing Foxhound ROM with factory reset, and installing UltimaROM i came to find that the modem did not install correctly result in no connection to my cell network. I booted into TWRP recovery to try and do a re-install of the ROM only to find that TWRP was restarting itself every 3 seconds or so. I attempted to restart the device which i found to result in a TWRP bootloop that i cannot get out of, it constantly is booting into recovery mode and i cannot get it restart the OS.
What I've tried: Since i can get into download mode i decided to attempt to re-install TWRP using Samsung Galaxy S3 Toolkit but since i do not have USB debugging on i cannot do that. I'm mainly looking for a fix before i go and claim it on the warranty saying update went bad or something. If people need more information I will try to provide it as best i can.
Summery if i confused people is that TWRP is in a bootloop, i am unable to get to the OS, but i still have download mode available.
I fixed it but not how I would have liked to. I ended up losing all data due to flashing stock ROM using ODIN. I would still much appreciate a alternative method that does not involve loss of data though just for future reference, that is if anyone knows a alternative method.

could've tried reflashing TWRP or any other recovery through odin
I have an LG Optimus Q (LGL55c) with twrp loop. I was trying to go back to stock rom, instead I deleted all the system files in twrp when it was working...Then I rebooted back into recovery and get the loop. Does this mean I completely bricked my phone? I tried using adb, adb shell doesn't work. It does find the device. Even tried the LG update with no sucess Any ideas or suggestions?
I just read the forum title, I thought this was for the Optimus Q not the Samsung S3. Sorry mods
Temasek unofficial cm12 5.02
I was running this rom when my power button shorted and I got it replaced but then I tried to do a complete wipe and clean flash but since then it has been twrp bootlooping, tried to flash the latest recovery through Odin but still doesn't work also tried stock firmware flash but says binary not available.
This is my secondary device and I've not been in touch with Odin for a while. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Download latest firnware from sammobile.com and flash it with Odin, as described on sammobile: does Odin finish with '1 succeeded'?
I'm in a very similar situation, but with my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (N7105). It's rooted, and I am, or was using TWRP 2.7.0.2. ROM is CyanogenMod 12, 5.0.2 Lollipop.
I did a factory reset from INSIDE Android, and chose to wipe internal memory. Phone did the reset and wipe, rebooted into TWRP instead of Android, and now I have TWRP boot loop.
I posted more about it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60247503&postcount=3671
I have the Problem toooo!
What must i do Now!
with my S3 is the same!!!
For posterity:
With an old (2014?) version of TWRP and a custom ROM, I tried reverting to factory settings. That caused the phone to reboot TWRP, and the screen would flash every couple of seconds. I flashed a stock recovery image I found on Google, and when it restarted again, the wipe was completed successfully. My intention was to wipe all user data anyways so I can't say if this method might save it.
i would like to know if i still can revive my soft brick korean note (SHV E160L)
I am currently running an official JB 4.1.2 and decided to root my phone to remove the useless apps so what happened is i rooted my phone but it doesnt give me any root access.
i decided to do a factory reset in settings under backup & reset (usb storage was check) and when my phone
reboot, it doesnt booting normally. it only shows the U+ LTE Logo then after a couple of seconds it reboots again & again & again.
i tried to flash the stock ICS UH24 but no luck.
i tried to flash the stock ICS UH24 + PIT File that ive got (checked all auto reboot, repartition & f reset) here but still no luck.
i did this using ODIN and it always showing me a SUCCESS but my phone still stuck in bootloop.
i am willing to donate via paypal just to fix this phone.. please!
thanks in advance!
You may want to give up on going back to stock. Try using odin to install a current version of CWM so that you can boot to recovery mode and try a custom ROM from there.
Hello all,
I want to give my friend my Galaxy Note. Due to this, I attempted to do a factory reset from the settings menu, but it would reboot to TWRP instead and get locked in a boot screen. I tried flashing a third-party ROM (CM), but stupidly forgot to wipe the device since I thought I had done it before, resulting in it hanging at the boot animation. Could someone point me to the right direction on how to restore the device to Stock using a tool like Odin? Thanks.
P.S. Does anyone know how to get into TWRP? I can't seem to find a key combination, I have to do it from the TWRP application (yet I can't access the application).
UPDATE: I have managed to get into TWRP, however restoring fails, as it goes back to the TWRP logo. Wipe also does not work.
Solved, what I did was flash a recovery via Odin, which resulted in an error. Kies detected it since it had an error, so it was able to be restored.
I had my phone rooted with SuperSU. Decided that I wanted to use Magisk for the hide root features. Re-Flashed my phone to Stock Firmware, then checked if TWRP was still installed. It wasn't so I flashed it with ADB said that it flashed but I can not boot into it. When I go into recovery it boots to factory recovery.
I've tried erasing the the recovery and re-flashing with TWRP through ADB still boots to factory.
I have my bootloadrer unlocked from with I rooted the first time. Under Developer option it's Greyed out in the On position. Oh and USB Debugging is on.
Any help will be appreciated.

If you can boot your phone into system, download flashify. I had similar problem recently. Flashify helped me flash twrp into my phone & I was able to get into recovery with no problem. Also download a copy of twrp into o your phone.
PS: did you try to flash with the fastboot command? I've always had issues when I try to do anything with adb on this phone.

Hopefully you got this fixed dalready but I'm pretty sure after flashing twrp you are just rebooting without removing battery to power down, I had the same problem when I didn't remove batt. then put back in and boot to recovery that way. I guess the stock system will replace twrp if it gets booted into os before you boot into recovery.. Hope this helps.
Its the white screen throwing you off right click yes on both continue to hold voulme down and power then it will boot to twrp. Any it will not i repeat it will not wipe your data even thow you chose yes on white screen, hope this helps.
I'm in the same position as the OP, Keaso.
Bootloader unlocked, loaded custom recovery through fastboot, battery removed, but when I boot into recovery, I get the stock recovery, white screen, if I select yes and yes, it goes back to the factory white screen. And contrary to what 420bud420 posted, it DOES I repeat it DOES wipe your data.
This does not seem like an uncommon glitch with this phone, any help appreciated.
Double post
I own ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser (ZE500KG), running on stock rom (Lollipop 5.0) and stock recovery. my phone has insufficient storage space so i factory reset it. Not so long after the phone has been reseted, insufficient storage notification popped up again even though i have yet installed any single app. Because of this i try to update the stock rom to the latest, but it's failed when updating.
Here what i have done after failed update attempt:
I restarted my phone (normal boot).
Try to install the update manually.
when i try to boot into fastboot mode, it stuck at ASUS logo. Then i try to boot to recovery mode also stuck at ASUS logo. Then i restarted my phone.

I try to root my phone and flash TWRP using Flashify, but still stuck at ASUS logo.
Flash the stock recovery (backup), and unroot my phone.
However normal boot still working properly.
Please help me :victory: .
