Hi, after the last update it often happens that when I am under wifi the notifications do not arrive. the wifi does not disconnect but above all whatsapp notifications are not received. I remember that there was an option on android 8 "wifi always on standby". On android 9 there is not and I think it should be an optimization problem. Can you help me? I have already put whatsapp among the apps not to be optimized. thank you

Hello! First, I use the MIUI 7 Stable version. Sometimes come Notifications and sometimes not. I have stayed in the Settings / Security checked but nothing has helped. Sometimes no alerts come as if someone writes me with WhatsApp and I get no notification and go to WhatsApp come in suddenly all notifications. I hope someone can help me..

Basically most of the time, when the screen is turned off, I don't receive any notifications (whatsapp, gmail, etc.). When I open the app (for example, whatsapp) then I receive all the old messages for which I did not receive any notification... is anybody experiencing something like this?

Check your protected apps option in settings. The emui has setting that allow only protected apps from receiving or working in the background when the screen is off. I'm running cm 13 so I can't remember how to get there. But its in the settings and its called protected apps. Check to see if those apps you use are turned off. If they are that's probably why.

Oh, I know this, they're protected but I still experience this problem.
Also, this started to happen after the upgrade to Marshmallow+EMUI 4, I did not have this problem with the Lollipop + EMUI 3.1 factory software.

I’ve got an issue with my notifications. I used stratos 1619 (2.3.5.0) with Amazfit app 2.5.2.1 and my phone is Honor 9 Lite with EMUI and Android 8.0.0.
Most of the times, i got all my notifications as I configured by settings. But sometimes, some are missing… exemple : in the same whatsapp group conversation, I well receive on my watch message 1, 2, 3 and 5, but it misses the number 4…
For other apps it is the same, I can receive notifcation one time then the next one is missing (GMAIL, facebook etc.). It’s like random...
I tried to put on "disconnect alert" on the watch and I observe this alert popping sometime (like 4 - 5 times) on my watch when doing nothing. Sometime just after receiving one notification.
I tried to put off wifi (same issues)
Is there any bluetooth configuration I can solve ?
Someone with honor phone is facing this prob also? or not??
I already tried to restart phone/watch, unpair/pair, clear bluetooth cache, and always the same issues...

Hello, since I upgraded to Android 9 the problems with the wifi started after leaving the phone for more than 15 minutes without occupying the notification of any type related to wifi, such as whatsapp, telegram or faceboock or others, by unlocking the phone. and enter some of those applications just shows me all the messages that arrived, that does not happen if I leave activated only mobile network and disable wifi, my model is sm-g9650. Already probe restored factory, installing another rom and the problem continues. I returned to Andriod 8 and that does not happen, it is only on Android 9. Someone with that problem? Thank you

I have an Honor 10 updated to Android 9 (FW C432E4R1P12) and since 2 weeks I noticed that when I'm at home using wifi, and the phone is not used (sleep) for 1-2 hours, I didn't receive any notification. An example? Somebody wrote me on whatsapp about at 1pm and I received the notification at 5pm. If I wake up the phone then the notification re-start to work.
Before you even think of it, YES, I double checked all settings: battery optimization, allow data, allow wifi when sleep, etc but nothing seems to work. On the other hand when I'm at work at the office, using wifi, all seems to work like charm.
This is very strange, never seen this "bug" before. My family don't have this problem on their phones so I don't know what to think now.
Any tips?
