I've searched for a thread and i didn't find anything relevant / a fix
My new mate 10 pro can't use 4G+ , the icon doesn't show ( only 4G it's show all the time ) and the download speed is not for 4g+
on my old samsung edge as soon as is open the connection is 4g+ so i'm sure the problem it's not the service provider, signal or the sim.
On mate 10 pro i've tried all the setting like :
- LTE high speed mode - > on and off many times, nothing changed.
- Volte calls on and off, nothing changed
- preferred network mode - > 4g/3g/2g
-Carrier -> automatic and manual , nothing changed.
- Factory reset - > nothing changed
- update software - > current version 9.0.0.243
It's something i can do ?
I stay in the biggest city in my country and i'm sure 4g+ is available . My sim card can do ( same sim card from s6 edge + ) , full signal .

Hello Experts,
I am using Galaxy S duos(GT S7562). I was checking the Service Mode utility and doing research on 850 3G frequency for Latin Countries . selecting band selection on service mode suddenly , my network has disconnected(Wifi is working though) . Even the Network selection ( APN etc) have been greyed out .
I see the baseband version and IMEI number and network types shows unknown .
any suggestions ?

Hello everyone.
I have been searching for a solution for my problem for months but never found any.
My problem is that my phone cannot connect to 3g internet , i checked my apns , they are all right , only edge is working (wap).
when I go to the network settings and then mobile network , I try to change the network mode to GSM/WDCMA mode or WDCMA only mode but it just won't do it , it automatically goes back to gsm mode.
I opened mtk engeneering mode and went to the band mode settings , I find that only the gsm mode ( EGSM900 , GSM850) are checked , under it there is UMTS mode which contains the WDCMA but it has a grey color and I cannot tick it.
I also tried to change the modem.img file located in system/etc/firmware but it it won't let me as it says that the settings are read only
my modem.img file name is : modem_1_2g_n.img ( which aprooves what I'm saying 2g edge only)
I also tried to fool around with the Maui meta 3g tool but that was beyond my knowledge , it says that target load doesn't support 3g somthing like that.
Does my phone really support 3g ? I mean if there are settings It means that it does , and I don't think that it has only 2g because it's an s4 clone , I think that the problem is in the modem.img file , please help me , I really need this , I would have worked with edge only but for my carrier it only supports the 0.facebook , and I need internet on my phone.
I hope I have provided enough information. I will provide screen shots if needed.

I am facing issue with my oneplus one with data connection, its getting lost suddenly & when I do a reboot its start working again for some hours then again its lost.
I tried -
Aeroplane Mode.
Network Type change - 2G, 3G, LTE
Reset Network -
Changing default Access point settings.
Nothing worked, Can someone please help me with the commands, which can reboot network or thing which got reset after a reboot.

Oneplus one - A0001
Android - 6.0.1
CyanogenMod version - 13.0.20161220-SNAPSHOT-ZNH5YAO3XH-bacon
i just see a menu for CA but i can't see menu about CAT16/CAT18 Enable
They're remove this menu or not ?
if not , where 's this menu ?
It's in the mobile network advanced page.
I think they remove it .. Also me I don't have it
Same here, gone after update to EMUI 9. There is LTE High-speed mode but don't see any improvements after switching on.

I have a BLA-L29 C432 now with the 9.0.0.206 update and since the update to EMUI 9 my sim don't work anymore and all the option in mobile network are greyed out below a list of what I already did but didn't fix the bug
- Restart the phone
- Changing the sim (my sim work on other phones and others sim don't work on my phone)
- Reset the network settings
- Reset the phones to factory settings
- Most of the dialers code when entered don't do anything it just clear the dialing code
The only thing that work is to downgrade to EMUI 8 but I want to be on EMUI 9
Does anyone have a fix for this ?
