Hello everyone.
I have been searching for a solution for my problem for months but never found any.
My problem is that my phone cannot connect to 3g internet , i checked my apns , they are all right , only edge is working (wap).
when I go to the network settings and then mobile network , I try to change the network mode to GSM/WDCMA mode or WDCMA only mode but it just won't do it , it automatically goes back to gsm mode.
I opened mtk engeneering mode and went to the band mode settings , I find that only the gsm mode ( EGSM900 , GSM850) are checked , under it there is UMTS mode which contains the WDCMA but it has a grey color and I cannot tick it.
I also tried to change the modem.img file located in system/etc/firmware but it it won't let me as it says that the settings are read only
my modem.img file name is : modem_1_2g_n.img ( which aprooves what I'm saying 2g edge only)
I also tried to fool around with the Maui meta 3g tool but that was beyond my knowledge , it says that target load doesn't support 3g somthing like that.
Does my phone really support 3g ? I mean if there are settings It means that it does , and I don't think that it has only 2g because it's an s4 clone , I think that the problem is in the modem.img file , please help me , I really need this , I would have worked with edge only but for my carrier it only supports the 0.facebook , and I need internet on my phone.
I hope I have provided enough information. I will provide screen shots if needed.

My idea is try to put another modem named 1_wc_g.img inside the rom and reflash it ,but i dont know how to do that

I briked my phone recently" after instaling chainfire 3D",i dont know what ROM version i had before that but i used ODIN to recover my phone ussing another version of ROM.I managed to find FROYO 2.2 available(support) for my country( Romania),but i noticed that mobile network is not working anymore(except Wi Fi),
before this mess the 3G ,GPRS or EDGE signal was present and i have the option to turn on or off the mobile connection,but now i cant do that anymore and i dont have 3G signal anymore,and I dont know why because i have the correct settings in APN. In "About phone" / "status" i have the following values:Mobile network type: UMTS or GPRS from time to time, and for Mobile network state is DISSCONECTED or Connecting from time to time.When i long press the end call button the Phone option appears and when i chose Mobile Network option (Connect to internet is OFF) it does nothing....Can anyone help me in this problem ?,some say that there is a secret code for service that test the 3G conecction but i dont belive that......?..For this reason(problem) i installed four different versions of ROM,and my best option is to manage to find a solution for the current ROM that i have)Sorry for my english or for my posible double post...
I found the official stock ROM i had before and fixed the problem with 3G signal,Is very important to use the correct ops file,i used EUROPA_I5508_v1.0.ops(because i'm an idiot) and the one i needed was EUROPA_I5500_v1.0.ops and i think that is one of the reason for the lost of 3G signal.
Greetings , I have a i9300 galaxy s3 I've found on the street and 1 month ago, it worked perfectly mobile , up to 1 week or so and let me take out coverage Not registred .
I was reading a lot about this and some were saying it was because the switch to a cooked rom or change to another might have missed the imei , since I had not backed the EFS folder I see a problem.
I've tried everything , both ariza patch , like changing to different versions of old rom and go put the patch ariza earlier, I've also tried changing the modem to different versions and different companies , but nothing.
I have also tried to reverse engineer the imei in mode, but will not let me enter the codes that appear on the Internet .
In order that no longer do, the strange thing is that in the list of networks appears to me Optus, Telstra etc, and give to connect and I appear properly connected , therefore I dismiss the imei this reported so it is .
And you see me imei is generic , not the original imei .
Can anyone help me ? .
Hi, I flushed this phone with a pop c1 kit Kat custom Rom and I lost 3g H H+ and in desperation to restore then.... I messed further and the phone died! I looked for some files and flashed

-EBR1
-EBR2
-MBR
-Logo bin
- U boot
With SP FLASH TOOLS and formatted completely while at it.
Then flashed an XPERIA ROM (the only Rom fitting this single SIM 4015x.... The rest are dual SIM which adds to the trouble) Now the phone is back up and running smoothly EXCEPT 3g.
I've been trying various modem images but no luck.
Mobile uncle engineer mode shows I'm not on 2100mhZ which is the only 3G band in my country (Kenya, Safaricom)
How can I activate 2100mhz band selection back????
I've heard people mention nvram editing..... What's up with that?
Or can anybody share their 4015x stock Modem if it supports 2100mHz/850mhz bands
Or does anybody know where I can get actual stock Rom for this phone???

Hello all, I have Hawei P8 GRA-UL00 DUAL sims and that's no section for this phone
First problem which i have , i don't have WCDMA ONLY on my phone ( or 3G mode only ) and my sim go to 2g network automaticly ( i have tried all app and all way to add it but no one want tell me where setting i must change from system )
Second Problem
When i connect VPN ( Under tcp or Udp ) I lose connection for 5 seconde and i get it back ( so i can't download with out problem for some restricted file ) , i had lenovo and other which have this problem , and it's solved with CYANOGEN CUSTOM ROM and Meui ROM .. BUT this ROM does't exist on this phone and many others
PS:for me i can't sold this phones for this problems ..

I have a problem. I have uploaded a new soft JY - S3_jiayu_germany_rc5 and disappeared IMEI but I was able to fix it.Problem have the network can not find and connect , your phone detects sim card and work operate on a different phone. Wifi is working normally .
