Do it at anytime. Charge won't be a problem. But charge it to full once you disconnect and reconnect the battery.

Aight I'll look for one, do u think deleting my battery stats file will fix it?

I don't think so. But You should try. I do delete battery stats often.

I had the same problem. I removed the back cover using my nail. It was hard but i got the job done. You unplug your battery, what 20-30 seconds, and plug it again. Personally, I discharged the battery until the phone turned off, and charged it to 100%. It worked!

[Q] HTC Rezound not turning ON ...

The battery was too low and I didn't charge it at the night time. In the morning it was completely dead so plugin the charger, the orange charging light turned on once and after that it didn't turned on? Please help.
If it is completely dead it always takes a few minutes of charging time before the orange light shows up. Don't try to power it up until it has had at least 30 minutes or so of charge time.

If it has been on the charger for more than 30 minutes and no orange light, you need an external way to charge the battery.
When the battery is past a certain point, CWM prevents it from charging, which is why we don't use it.

If the battery was dead, it may take 20 mintues or more on a charger before you see a charging light. If the orange LED is flashing when you hit the power button, it means it does not have enough juice to power on. Make sure it is connected to a wall charger, and wait. If you flashed a rom incorrectly, you many have to pull the battery for about an hour before trying to reinsert it. Lastly, I also had a faulty battery initially and once replaced with a new one, worked fine.
check this out its at walmart.
external lithium ion battery charger second on the list is the universal one you can find them by the digital camera equip at most walmarts http://www.walmart.com/search/searc...ind&_ta=1&search_query=digipower&_tt=digi-pow once your batteries charged put it back in your phone and flash a different recovery preferably this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1339679

[Q] "Low Battery!"-Bricked S2

Going to ask a generic question.
The phone claims to have 'low battery' (DONT SAY A WORD ABOUT A CHARGER, IT HAS BEEN TRIED WITH A FULL BATTERY) and i'm unaware of the condition which caused this phone to be bricked. (Most likely a rooting failure)
I shouted it from an online auction, with 230€ below the market price
The phone can't be put into download mode by the regular way (And i'm unsure if the no-battery usb-force works, haven't got the phone yet)
I was thinking about flashing cwm, doing the wipes, battery log wipe etc. Formatting the system to a state nothing exists apart ODIN mode and after it installing the official new JB rom.
Has anybody got any experience with an situation like this, and how did you fix it?
READ THESE:
It's not a battery fault, another battery has been tried on.
It's not the pins of battery or motherboard. They are clean.
It's not the charger. (Seriously -.- I don't want to state that another battery has been tried to every poster)
The phone just says 'low battery' when trying to: Boot, enter recovery or download mode.
I DON'T HAVE THE PHONE YET.
POST ONLY IF EXPERIENCE. I'm not a noob even if i look like one, seriously. All i'm doing is just asking if anyone else had a problem like this, and how did you fix it. (Don't say use the search bar @ xda, i tried, didn't find anything.)
I think it's something to do with your charger.

Are you kidding me? The phone can't be set into download mode because the software fails. You can't boot it because it lives in a belief of the battery being low. It's not the charger, it's either the board or softwarez.

Does it get confused and freak out thinking it's charging when it's not unplugged or anything like that? I had a similar issue, turned out to be the USB board that had to be replaced. It's a $10 part on ebay if that's the case...

most likely as the device looks 'completely new' It's been bricked by someone. I wasted my money on it, and i'm unsure if i did a good buy. The phone's all clear by the hardware side. (Unsure about the mb tho, could be faulty.)
I'm positive it's either the battery or the charger.

The usb port should be clean as the seller told it's looking completely new on the outside. (Screen, under battery, jack panel etc.)

If you can't read that it has been tried with two batteries, the original and another which full. Therefore it can't be the charger since it wasn't used when the full battery was in the phone.

5 . This way your battery starts filling.

I think so.
I let it charge for 14 hours. led kept being red.
I wonder if it was battery, while plugged it should have started right ?
why not just claim warranty rather than cracked your brain. leave it to the agent to fix it up.
Try another charger, had that too with my DX, another charger fixed it all.

not sure what it is, but i have red square on the battery side, its safe
if neither adb or fastboot doesnt see the device, i guess RUU is irrelevant huh ?
Any suggestions ?
If you have a red square on your battery it doesn't mean it's safe it means that it came in touch with watter. Ask your friend what did he do with his phone, the phone 100% fell in watter.
That small label is watter indicator, you have one more inside the phone.
Ok.
If that's the case.
Doesnt the phone should work with battery removed and power plugged ?
Can someone check this please ? (i have One X and can't check )
Maybe watter got inside the phone, not just reached the battery.

That indicates that it doesn't have the needed charge to start the phone. You can try connecting it to a different charger with a different cable for a few hours. I think it should turn on. If not, you may have a broken USB (unlikely).
