Guys,
Which custom rom is good for daily use right now?
I think this phone won't get the update anymore and the stock rom running bit slow now so i need a custom rom.
Thank you for your attention ?
Probably worst and best answer to you. Try every rom yourself, just use it for few weeks and see if it suits you
Lineage 15.1
Better performance than most
And rootable with magisk support

If you want to stay close to stock as possible you should go with the CF-root method. Its pretty easy too.
Clockwork recovery is a custom recovery for your phone that enables you to do restoration, maintenance, installation, upgrades operations that your default recovery can't.
You should go for CyanogenMod 7.1 ROM and check it out as it seems to be the most stable mod around , plus it's updated regularly... Altough I would suggest you get a little bit more accustomed to your phone first...
i came across the Cyanogen Mod but it's just that with so much custom ROMs options i couldn't decide which is best

Once you flash your first custom ROM, you'll probably find yourself using it for about 2 or 3 hours then decide to flash an another one cuz you don't like it Just try a few of them and see which one suits you best. There are really some good ones out there , plus its fairly easy and fast to flash them. Good luck
thanks for the info.. i'll experiment a couple of custom ROMs to see what suits me best lol
Dear friends,
It looks like we lost few great dev so far, and face a lot of abandoned rom. Since then, i would try to use one custom ROM for my daily driver, and to use it a long time (since i would go abroad and will not flashing the device on abroad). Which custom ROM is most stable for daily use, and no need to update baseband (because i found it so hard to update). Thanks friends..

Hello.
I'm using currently Rammars Paranoid 4.4.4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-l9/development/rom-paranoidandroid-4-6-t2933958 , been using it for daily use(mostly twitter, whatsapp and instagram), no problem with that, pretty smooth fast, i suggest using Nova launcher, and if you like eye candy, get the Androidl theme from playstore, as far as you keep away from gaming, and really heavy apps, it is stable. No kernel panics, no unexpected shutdowns/reboots. All great. But the onlydownside, surprinsgly the best battery life i stumbled upon was for rammars lollipop, 5.3.2 the most stable to be exact.
Still, i`m right now about to restore CWM backup of a nandroid (v20h) to be back on stock, becaue, honestly, there won't be a more stable ROM than stock.
If you still have a stock rom installed, updating rom and baseband won't be difficult, if OTA or the LG Flash Tool won't give you anything newer than v20h(like in Europe) you need the appropiate KDZ file.
With a custom rom, seemingly the LG drivers and tools no longer recognize the phone, and getting back to stock or updating bb gets a bit complicated. I wrote down my sad story in Artas' thread, an finally I even succeeded, it's all there.

Sorry for offtopic, but getting back to stock is pretty easy if u use NANDROID, but if you want a full wiple, like the way you bought it, no CWM no nothing, KDZ flashing does the trick.
I'm sorry, didn't notice the baseband thing, on what baseband are you at?
hi i'm used 4.4.4. artas and think it's the better i have a p768
Hey guys, some days ago i bought my xiaomi redmi note 3 kenzo (snapdragon). I am using the official stable miui rom right now but i want to use a custom Whats the best and most stable right now ? Im thinking of LineageOS and radon kernel, what do you think ? I am open to suggestions I would prefer a nougat rom but i read that there are still problems because xiaomi hasnt released yet nougat. The camera doesnt work or i have to use an non-stock app for the camera ? And one more thing. I want to unlock the bootloader with the official way. What exactly i must do ?
thanks !!!!!
for the official way to unlock, apply for permission on mi unlock site. just google it.
then first thing to do, create backup of modemst1 and modemst2.
flash twrp recovery and make backup of efs. (modemst1+modemst2)
now store that backup in a safe place.
Now there are many rom, i would suggest cm13 because quite frankly it is the most stable with not so many useless features.
for nougat yes lineage is a good choice. for kernel definitely radon is the best you can ask for.
because its been a long time since i flashed a device... is it safe if i do something wrong ? i mean if i have TWRP if i do something wrong i just revert back ? is there any possibility for something to go wrong even with the TWRP installation ? also if i install the CM 13 and radon kernel if i want to go back to Oficial Miui with stock kernel i just restore the backup i made ?
anyone?

First... xposed isn't available for nougat yet so that can't be done.
As for ROM I would deffinately say Carhd rom. It's amazing all round. I used it on my G925F for over a year member any issues.
Also alexisROM is another good choice.
Have a search on here and Google for your options.
If you need help with flashing let me know :good:
Hey guys,
I have a redmi note 10 device & it hangs alot from a month.
I tried factory reset & i've de-bloated the native apps
Still the device seems to have hard time on daily usage.
I'm looking to flash a clean custom rom preferably pixel based
Can u guys suggest any stable ROMs you have tried or any precautions to be taken care of while proceeding?
Also a detailed procedure would mean alot to me
Thank alot

LineageOS (android 13) is the best right now in my opinion.
I suggest you watch this video to get a general idea on how to flash custom Roms for our device.
After picking which custom ROM you'd like to try, please read and understand the instructions for that specific custom ROM. This will save you from a lot of pain.
And if you are ever in doubt, post your questions on the thread for your chosen custom ROM.
