What is your home application? provide more details
i'm sorry i'm new to this, what is a home application? hmmm.. I'm running a unrooted x10 as of right now... if that helps. Thanks!
The button i was talking about is the center bottom button that becomes a trash can when you try to delete applications from your home screen. I was wondering how I can install shortcuts next to the trash can button. I didnt know x10 was capable of doing this until I used the clean-up.bat that came along with jit. However, I have since factory reset the x1o, and I was wondering how I can get the shortcuts functions back without all the other customized functions that clean-up.bat gives you after you run it. Thanks!

Im assuming you have adw, if so do as i have mentioned below:
Long press empty place of the home screen
select Launcher actions
select Open/close app drawer
Then your icon will appear in the scree, simply drag the icon to desired position on the bottom bar, in your case to the center location
Cheers
What is adw? and how can I find out if I have it or not? when I long press the home screen, it gives me 4 options - shortcuts, widgets, folders, and wallpapers. I do not have launcher actions.... how do I get that? Thanks!
Install LauncherPro, long press the icon, and change the icon, or the function.

Hello,
I'm planing on removing the soft buttons and notifications bar (status bar). I have moved the soft buttons to the notifications bar. Now all I need to do is remove the status bar. Has anyone had any luck removing it entirely. I'm running urukdroid and have ubuntu if that helps.
Thanks

I'll just use button savior. I was just poking around in a few files and I may have found how to remove the vertical soft buttons.
Edit: It'll work when I find out how to zip back up the edited apk file.

Just rezip with 0 compression and rename to apk. If you edited XMLs or Patch 9's, you need to recompile and make sure it makes a new resources.arsc.
Launcher pro has a hide statusbar feature i believe.

Yes, it does, but I think it's just hidden in LP, not all apps.
Is there a way to RIP the asus bar lock out so we can use it on other roms maybe a APK? If so that would be great. Cant remember what the bottom bar is called. But that function to turn on a lock so one does not accidentally hit time in the middle of say... Ninja Chicken

Well, if you're rooted which I'm going to assume you are, then you could use GestureControl off of the market. It says that you are able to completely hide the tablet bar. Try out the lite version before you buy of course to see if that's what you would want.
Hey guys
I want to put a shortcut in the four home button slots and so I've deleted the "internet" icon from there but now I have no idea how to get Dolphin shortcut to it. I've tried some answers through google for other phones but none that I have found seem to work, any ideas please?
First drag shortcut to desktop and then to the bottom bar.

Oh! Just worked, thank you! My screen didn't have any spare desktop (didn't know this was needed). Sorry for being so stupid
Has anyone noticed that this no longer works after recent OTA updates.
For some reason Samsung has locked the bottom bar and you can't change it any more. Well done Sammy!!
Does anyone know of any back doors or utilities that can be used to get around this issue?
Hi,
is there a way to get rid of the Navigation Line at the bottom of the Screen when using gesture mode? Asus unfortunatly doesnt give the option like Samsung for example to hide it.
im a noob and dont know if theme modification is a thing at all or if i must switch completely to a different OS
thank you very much!

unfortunately it is not possible to remove the pill by making Asus native gestures work. What is possible is to remove the pill (using the entire screen) and use gestures from third-party applications. For me it is the best option. root is required

On March 31, Asus released an update (WW-33.0804.2060.113) that allows you to hide the navigation bar. There's a new learning curve when navigating with gestures without the navigation bar, and after a month like that, I don't miss the navigation bar.

Buggy navigation pill swipe from home on latest update
So, a week or so ago I've been forced to install an OTA update (despite disabling these in settings, because see this thread), and now my navigation is screwed up. Swiping right on the pill from any regular app correctly switches to the previous...
