Nope. Theoretically you could cook up a kludge VA using a variety of tools and hacks that yielded equivalent functionality. Nothing 'off-the-shelf'.

You'll need to do your own research; wasn't advocating a specific method/tool. Actually, quite the opposite.

maybe, just because i saw these the other day for the older Galaxy S devices:
Add SamsungServiceMode (1/4)
This is an interface to the radio's control interface. The application isaccessable via *#*#197328640#*#* (or an easier to remember submenu of it isaccessable via *#*#0011#*#* and use back to get to the main menu).Change-Id: Ie43f54003d9e683e25f05fa6e7f57711edef9e7f

So maybe they can get them to work on the SGS2 also
Use *#*#301279#*#* and *#*#9900#*#*
Most of them are in the format *#nnnn#
People play jokes on noobs by putting loads of extra *s and #s on there so you can tell a noob just by looking at their posts.
When you see one that's like *#*#nnnn#*#* then just try it simple at first
Anyway, I use MIUI and no USSD codes work on that either. I've only ever known the Samsung stock dialer to work with them, which is annoying. I've also tried a few dialers off the Market, but no luck.
AFAIK, the only way you will get them to work is by going back to a stock ROM. I'd <3 to be proven wrong though.
I'm on gingermod rom. *#code# doesn't work on stock dialer or custom dialer like GoContacts. But *#*#code#*#* WORKS.
I didn't know that noobs are identified by * and # in their posts.
I respect all devs and senior members who has done a lot of cooking in this thread. But please don't be rude to people who are trying to help. Thanks

No worries mate - I meant no offence and wasn't suggesting anyone other than noobs are noobs
I've searched and searched:
Is it possible to enable voice calls on the 10.1 SGT? (NOT the 10.1v)
I read about the modem.bin for the 10.1v; is there anything similar for the 10.1?
Found by Forum search, it is easy to use!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20004471&postcount=81
that is the same for 10.1v...it would be amazing to have the voice calling feature over GSM on 10.1!
I'm waiting for GSM voice calling as well. Does anyone know if Android 4.0 running on galaxy tab would help us?
Or just use Viber then no need to mess around

Aye, but isn't that just some kind of extension to Google Voice? And that one (as far as I know) only allows free calls to phones inside the US and Canada.
need this badly...i saw phone.apk in the system remover...may be the hardware is still on
yep you are right, there is the phone.apk in the /system/app and the hardware does support the voice capabilities, it is unfortunate that the voice calling facility has been disabled at the software end.

So I read an article about CM thinking of opening an app store for rooted apps/emulators/one click roots/ etc. What do you think of it?
Here's the post.

I think it's an awesome idea as well. A one stop shop for all the utilities you need! Get your roms and apps from one source.

Hello all, just wanted to inform you that KingRoot works greatly with rooting OC1 Lollipop on our beloved S4.
Just download the app, start it, and give it a try!
Isn't kingroot the Chinese, closed source rooter that XDA generally is wary of? Just askin.

LOL I was about to withdraw my post because I started reading the poor English of the instructions. LOL!
But for the record, it worked! And I was able to replace the Kinguser with SuperSU by following this link.

there's an app on the play store called Super-Sume (yea its called that, i didnt make it lol)
that does the same thing
but it's just
an app rather than having to use terminal emulator and stuff

Ahh, I wish I would have read that closer. But I would have rather known what was being done by using the Terminal. The app on the play store is probably way more noob-friendly.

You're welcome, good English -_-
And is there any good reason to replace kinguser? It kind of looks faster than SuperSU..

Well, you are correct, it is faster. But some apps require SuperSU such as FlashFire. And I was only joking about the english. I just couldn't understand parts of the Website. (which is probably Google Translate's fault)
It does work and there are two methods to swap out King root for supersu throughout these forums.
There are already 5 threads on the S4 forums about rooting OC1....

You got me there as I never really looked into general sections, ROOT topics were always belonging to Development. Sorry, I reported myself.
