Got my black Reno 10x today, kinda like it, but not sure if I should keep it.
Its an awesome device, but has it's quirks..
(candy crush is stuttering like crazy, can't set Nova Launcher as default,...)
But most annoying, can't boot my 10x into fastboot mode, tried it via volume up and power button at the same time, and via "adb reboot fastboot" on pc.

fastboot mode is disabled. You need to unlock bootloader officially... but still OPPO has to release it

You can simply install Nova or other third party launcher like i have made.
Follow Find X chinese version indications....

I highly doubt it will be on the oppo reno 10x.
And if there is on chinese firmware only...is there a way to make everything english on the chinese firmware? And a way to get the chinese firmware on the international version?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has advice on how to go about rooting a ZTE Nubia N1? I recently picked one up and while it performs pretty well, I don't think I can live without the Play Store.
I'm totally new to rooting but I have some development experience so if anyone's looking for help, resources etc. I'll do my best to provide what I can.
For reference I've already tried just installing the Play Store and services framework from APK mirror, no dice. Tried running KingRoot as well but as expected, no luck.
Any advice/direction/help is much appreciated!

Start by installing twrp recovery using fastboot method, visit 4pda site for nubia n1 you'll get the method, then flash a custom rom(download it from needrom site) setup your phone and then reboot again and flash supersu and reboot you'll be seeing supersu icon in your homescreen that's it[NOTE: every time you flash file in twrp reboot to recovery once flashing is done and perform quick not advanced wipe after rebooting to recovery, this is required only while installing custom rom not for supersu]

I found the solution, just uninstall it and get an old APK like 6.0.65 install that then you will be able to sync words and even when you update up the current version the option will remain!!
Option will go away once you turn it off... The only option is to stay with the 19th

The option will go away once the sync is turned. Off.... The best option is to stay with the 1 9th April version

Installing 6.0.65 does indeed work, even after updating it to the newest version. This worked for both my phone and tablet.

Have the same issue on my OP3. Were you guys able to resolve it?
Issue persists.
In fact, download the last version of Google Keyboard before GBoard became the name and you'll see it is more accurate too.

You just need to uninstall Gboard updates then try to install old version of GBoard.

I don't have G suite nor work profile and do not have sync option. Phone is Samsung Note 8.
btw. since couple of days GBoard lags a lot - when swyping fast it freezes a lot and looses the word currently swyped. Anyone facing the same problem? Reinstall didn't help.

Just joined and it's downloading now.
Some tips for others, open Samsung+ & join the beta program, then go to settings and software update on the phone (not in Samsung+ app) and manually check for updates.
Worked for me on an unlocked Note8 on Verizon network

Go check for the update in settings. I flashed the unlocked firmware to my T-Mobile note and received it. If flashing the unlocked firmware make sure you flash the csc file and not home csc. That's the mistake I initially made. But after flashing with the regular csc I unregistered and re-registered. Then the update came right away.

I flashed XAA unlocked on my SPRINT G955U. I think that is the mistake. Now I am downloading the unlocked Sprint firmware. Hope to get beta by using CSC file in patched odin.

Thank you! I checked the Play Store and wasn't getting the updated app. I signed up for the beta version of Samsung+ and was able to get the registration link.

No it doesn't break anything. All the US Note 8s are identical hardware-wise. They all support the same bands.
The only thing you will lose is WiFi calling and VoLTE (unless you're on T-Mobile).
You can search for and find the N950U1 files easily. SamFirm is just the easiest and fastest way to do it.

Okay y'all I successfully flashed from China ROM to global ROM using his method I did not have to unlock my bootloader download his link extracted image files and everything you need will be in there worked perfectly fine no problems first try
So far everything is working but light strip and I can't find how to use trigger buttons
The game launcher is like it's the red magic game launcher it don't have the options for shoulder buttons how do we activate

Well so far the switch has been nice no issues performance super fast, battery great the only things are light strip I can't get to work no options to use trigger buttons, in game mode when you hit the home button it brings you out of game mode to phone home and you have to switch it to get back in game mode, screen light adjustment could be better it's pretty dim until you get all the way up other than that absolutely great can't wait for an update

But I get a problem when using ZenMode. I can't get the start button (the Black line at the bottom of the screen) when I'm in English mode.
When I'm in Chinese mode, the start button can be found.
I think it's may because oneplus5 is 16:9 screen.
By the way, I'm using H2OS 9.0.3. May you help me to fix this problem in English mode. Looking forward to your replay.：○
