I've got an MSI Windpad Enjoy 10" Plus (http://www.msi.com/product/windpad/Enjoy-10-Plus.html) and I tried to flash it this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1540616).
The rom is for MSI Windpad Enjoy 10", while mine is called Enjoy 10" Plus. So GG, I think I got owned. So retarded you don't even have to tell me.
Now whenever I try to turn on the tablet, it would simply vibrate, show the logo and then turns off. PC doesn't detect it.
However, I tried holding Power button + Reset button together, the PC detects it, but it's unknown and it can't identify it (even though I have MSI's drivers installed and all).
...Any ideas on how to overcome it?
I'm going to sleep now, and will check tomorrow. Thanks in advance.
[UPDATE] 2/22/2013 11:00pm gmt
I'm able to boot it only if I have it plugged in. I can only use Power + Volume controllers + Reset buttons. I can enter Recovery Mode but I cannot confirm/click on any selection.
Tablet does not get recognized by the computer in "Flashing Mode".
I forced to install the driver for the "Flashing mode" when the tablet is in recovery mode but programs like MSIFlashtool, RKBatchTool, RKAdnroid. (not sure if i correcly used the last 2... but whatever)

This is not Samsung or a phone. Read what you are told
If you have a splash screen, you are not bricked. Does adb recognise your tablet? Can you access any recovery/download mode?

ADB doesn't recognize it. I tried holding Power + Reset button and did 'adb devices' on Ubuntu and it didn't show anything. On Windows, if I held these 2 buttons, it would show an unknown device in Device Manager. (Mind you, I don't have the Android SDK on Windows, just Linux.)
I can't access any recovery/download mode. Any combination of buttons (Power+VolDown, Power+VolUp/VolDown, Power+VolUP, Power+Home, Power+Back, Power+Settings) would do nothing.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This what it does when I press Power + Reset Button with a needle. It boots up, splash screen, and stays on black screen (Btw, in this stage, it's Unknown Device in Windows Manager).Once I let go of Reset or Power button, it shuts down.
Turning it on without holding Reset, it would show splash screen, black screen and turns off in about 2 seconds.
Bump.
I've tried playing with it for some time. I can't get it to stay working without pressing power+reset buttons, it always shuts off...
Go to the device website, and download section, get the latest firmware and forget to download the flash driver.
Follow the steps that in firmware folder after unzip it, and you'll get your tablet on

... I was trying all the time to get it work on the PC without plugging the charger. Anyways~
(Tablet's turned off), I plugged charger, I plugged USB, I turned on the tablet and viola it actually worked and booted into OS. However, no buttons work AT ALL, and touch input doesn't work as well.
I tried to get into Recovery Mode and it worked, but I can go up/down using VolUp/VolDow buttons but I cannot click on any thing because the home button don't work nor any other.
Only Power + VolUp + VolDown + Reset buttons work... What to do now?
TL;DR I want to click on 'Update from SD Card' from the Android Recovery but I couldn't get the 'home' button to click enter on the selection. So what's the solution?
bump.
updates:
I tried to place the firmware from the official website as update.img on an SD Card and placed it in the tablet and went into the recovery mode and selected the 'update from sd card' but i couldn't click it. I tried to tap power, home, search, settings and back and nothing worked.
what I've got up until now:
I can boot into the ROM / RecoveryMod as long as I have the charger plugged in the tablet.
For Ubuntu, when I use the command $ tail -f /var/log/syslog and plug in my tablet, it shows this log http://pastebin.com/pBpBUA2Q (it identifies the tablet) [note, the tablet is booted into the ROM]
Also, if I'm in the recovery mode and I plug in the tablet, it would enumerate the USB... ~,~

Hello,
I know it has been long since this thread stopped.
I'm currently in his shoes and for the life of me cannot find anything on the web to help me solve my problem.
My MSI Enjoy 10" Plus was flashed with the wrong MSI Enjoy 10" update. Now the tablet only turns on when in "Recovery Mode", but selecting in that mode is not possible using 10" Plus' buttons. Is there anyone from you good people that can help? Please? Thanks.
Uhm...bump?
Bump? Need help from the experts here. Please. I'm desperate.
Thank you very much in advance.
I have a fairly generic Chinese tablet, a Neutab N7 (not a Nexus 7), but I have no idea how to enter the bootloader/fastboot mode.
Using adb, "adb reboot bootloader" or "adb reboot-bootloader" just makes it reboot normally.
From a shell, doing "su reboot bootloader" also reboots normally.
I tried Quick Boot from Google Play which has an option to reboot into the bootloader, but it also just ends up rebooting normally.
While powered off, I tried holding power and volume up, power and volume down, and power and both volume up and down, but they all just boot normally.
Doing "adb reboot recovery" does boot me into recovery mode, but the menu doesn't have a bootloader/fastboot option.
Does anyone have any idea how to enter the bootloader/fastboot mode for this tablet? Any help would be appreciated.

Having been looking for this information myself i'm sharing real quick here what i've found. Scouring the net all over i've found NOTHING specific for these Chinese tablets but after finally getting on the scent of VROOT I downloaded and tried iROOT essentially a one-click rooter the .APK **DID NOT WORK** but the PC version **DID** can be found by googling iroot or vroot.
RE: bootloader, i've still found no way or any good info on entering the bootloader AFAIK this is locked and may not be possible without some good hard hacking on the firmware, I DO KNOW that if you try entering the "bootloader" with a reboot manager on the device u will find yourself at the "NeuTab" welcome screen and stuck. Fortunately at least in my experience, letting the tablet battery run down low you can boot back into it and root condition is still good.
Hope this helps somewhat I know its an old post but a lot of people have been looking for this info have yet to post on authors site confirming that the NeuTab also works with his software.
peace.
VE3UND
BTW I forgot to mention the site and the software (ALTHOUGH IT STATES OTHERWISE) is in Chinese. A leap of faith needed there I know but i confirm this method works. l8z
BTW^2 ALSO the android version was KitKat as received from the mfg, also have been told that Jellybean will install on the tablet after rooting and maybe is now included with device but don't quote me on that.
all in all a really nice tab for the price, especially now we have root biggest missing option: GPS but you can tether to another device with gps if you need to. Also no built in USB HOST MODE. //out
I've got the NeuTab N10 and can't get ADB to see it at all. How did you get ADB to work with your N7, were you able to find NeuTab ADB drivers somewhere?
So i recently came across this tablet in my stuff... something i picked up for the wife a few years back.
I also came across this website.... http://neutab.com/info-detail.php?InfoId=11
It has all the tools and programs that the company uses. includes all files for development of their entire line of tablets.
Thought this may be useful. just click on the link that says pheonixtools.zip and it will take you to a back end file server... This tablet is about as open sourced as it gets... so... this leads me to ask a question i have been struggling with for the last 2 years of being a member on this website...
can anyone... please... help me develop my first recovery and custom rom for this tablet? I just have never done it all the way... i have set up a couple things here and there... figured out how to strip the stock recovery and boot... but never got further than that.
Thanks for the help.
• Unzip phoenix tool.zip you just downloaded; (to open a .zip file, download WinRAR)
• In the folder of phoenix tool you just unzipped, depending on your system specs, select "drvinstaller_X64", "drvinstaller_x86" or "drvinstaller_IA64" to install tablet driver; Or you can run all three driver installer and at least one will work;
• Run "PhoenixSuit.exe", select "firmware" tab;
• Click on "Image" button, choose the firmware you just downloaded;
• Turn your tablet completely off (by press and hold power button for 20 seconds), press and hold "volume -" button, connect tablet to computer via usb cable, keep volume button held, press power button 10 times repeatedly;
• The phoenix tool should recognize the tablet. On pop-up dialog window, select if you want to format and wipe out everything on your tablet;
• The phoenix tool will start flash the firmware to the tablet. Wait till it is done;
• When upgrade is finished, disconnect your tablet from computer, press and hold power button for 10 seconds to quit upgrade mode. then press and hold power button for 2-4 seconds to turn tablet on;
Congratulations! Your tablet is now refreshed.
Ok so I have a NueTab Air 7 Android and I have talked toto their customer support which did neurologist absolutely no good. I have been trying to hard reset my tablet and do a factory reset by holding down the volume up and down keys and the power keys until it gives me the option of rebooting. However, there is no option for a factory reset. Only a Recovery mode, Fastboot mode, and Normal mode. I tired the Normal and Recovery an both sent me back to enter password that I can't rremember, which isthe why I'm resetting it lol. Finally I chose the Fastboot option and now it is stuck on that option and has been for almost an hour. It willwas not let me power off, try to hard reset, it is literally stuck. And it is a hundred percent charged. I do jot hav the optiontime to connectbe the tablet to acall Windows computer at this timetime, as the forums I have read say can possibly fix the issue. And what a surprise the customer service phone number for this specific tablet does not know how to fix it!!!!! Not surprised at all. If anyone at allthe has any ideas or knows what to do or howsomething to fix it please help meme. I'm very frustrated to say thethat least and in desperate need of help. Anything would be immensely appreciated. ~Melissa
How to identify the exact firmware of the N7 after this page (Oficial NEUTAB), I have 3 options but that IMEI series is nowhere in the table.

I would love to root this tablet purely because it's my daughter's and some of the games she likes has some real funky permissions That they want! A custom rom would be nice but I will be satisfied with being able to revoke some of the permissions that the apps want to have access to.

I have yet to be able to download the zip or the firmware software. i got root with kingo pc version but that's pretty much it and I can't change the route manager because once I delete that then I don't have root anymore and can't add another one. Also I have yet to been able to get into or see download mode on this either. It just stays on the screen with the name on it and that's pretty much it. no bootloader unlock either
Hopefully someone can help me, my child has a Pendo Pad 7 Model no.PNDPP44QC7 with Kitkat 4.4 and it ended up with lots of malware/viruses and barely usable. This tablet only has a power button and no other buttons so I did not know how to boot into recovery mode to do factory reset and after trying reset through settings which made no difference so I gave the device ROOT access so I could try and delete the malware etc but of course i did not do any sort of backup and did not add CWM or TWRP recovery. I ended up deleting something wrong and now the device just hangs on the Pendo logo screen. I have since worked out how to boot into Recovery Mode and also Fastboot mode now but a bit too late I tried to do a wipe data/factory reset and this made no difference still hangs on Pendo logo.
I can't seem to find a CWM or TWRP image file to suit the tablet and possibly try putting tablet into fastboot mode and using ADB on computer and flash the recovery to tablet. ???
in recovery mode options i get are
apply update from ADB
apply update from sdcard
apply update from cache
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
backup user data
restore user data
but i can not seem to find any correct files to work with this tablet any help to get this tablet working again would be much appreciated Thanks
Good day! how did you manage to boot into Recovery Mode or Fast Mode?
After pressing the power button and seeing the display turn on. Keep spamming the power button and a menu will pop-up on screen with boot options. Short press of the power button cycles through the options, long press selects the option.
Mine was also stuck on a boot loop, even though I had not played around with any settings or tried to root etc. I was able to revive it by going into recovery mode and doing a factory reset.
Hey OP I've got hold of the same tablet I'm working on getting a rom dump atm. Bare with me I'll try and send a link for the img. If u can get into recovery mode where u can update zip. That's good if not try and via pc. Once u have a link to the tablets boatloader, rest is history.
Hi,
Wondering if I can follow up on this.
Mine is stuck on the PENDO boot screen, and I have tried the reset button, as well as the se commands PENDO suggested....
1. Press On/Off Switch (Power), wait for the Pendo Logo start up screen, and then press On/Off Switch (Power) twice right away.
2. Factory mode menu comes out after 10 seconds, two fingers touches panel together to move to select the one like the following picture shows (no need to understand the Chinese words, just follow through as what the picture shows)
3. Press On/Off Switch (Power) and the following picture below will show, press On/Off Switch (Power) again to proceed on Recovery Mode, and wait for system to restart.
Unfortunately, nothing still happens.
ADB will not reveal what device it is, nor will Win 10 recognise the device for it to show in Device Manager or connected devices.
Windows responds with a ding ding, but nothing shows up.
I am stuck, and any info gladly accepted.
Thanks

not working in my pendotab window 8
Hi,
I could get no further with mine, the same as you.
I contacted Pendo Support, and explained it would work but not boot, I even asked for the image file so I could reload it in recovery mode, however, they did not have access to it, the Chinese manufacturer had not made it available to them.
As I described it was not damaged, but simply not working, they agreed to send me a replacement, even though it was out of warranty, as really, as I said to them, it was not fit for purpose.
I had to send the old one back, but they sent me a satchel in which to do so, at no cost to me.
They sent me the new one very promptly.
Hope is not lost,
Someone has finally manage to extract the factory ROM for the pendo PNDPP44QC7. Just search the model number on needrom.

So I have already unlocked and installed "[Guide/tutorial] Asus Transformer Prime/TF201 stock to Android 7.1 Nougat" using the thread and have been very happy.
I ordered a new battery and after putting in I noticed the touch screen wasn't well...ok I didn't get the ribbon cable in correctly no biggy.
I opened back up and indeed the cable wasn't in properly. I reinserted and put back together. I pressed the power button and the transformer would power cycle. I pressed the power and + button and got to the TEAMWIN screen and that has where it has remained.
No matter what i do with the power and volume I can't get to any other screen.
I did do this:
4 - PREVENT BRICK : NVFlash
This step is optional but highly highly highly recommended, your tab will never be bricked after it !!!.
I have read other threads about the getting stuck on the splash screen but they all say to plug into computer, connect to tablet and power cycle and Start your device in APX mode [Power On + Volume Up]. But i can't get to the selection page at boot-up.
Any ideas? I thought maybe I disconnected a cable when I opened back up but i have since opened back up looking for any ribbon that came out.
I am going to try this.....https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1927818
used this to get in APX mode:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2034866
and after trying https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1927818 multiple times I could get the "nvflash.exe -r --go" to work so I tried "If you device does not reboot after you see the text, force a reboot (long press the Power button)" also no go. I did learn that every time I ran a blob and the Tab rebooted I would have to rerun "wheelie --blob blob.bin" to get back into nvflash mode.
I tried a new tactic and used this thread, https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2538028, and even though it was for a TF700 I used substituted my files from, 4 - PREVENT BRICK at this thread, https://forum.xda-developers.com/tr...uide-tutorial-asus-transformer-prime-t3486237.
and happy days when I did this, At this point if it will not reboot or shut down do this
hold power button and volume down to boot into fastboot, it actually went into fastboot!! which was what I was not able to do before.
Hopefully some of my learning and searching is helping someone. oh another learned point, I don't do as well after having whiskey, beer, or wine!
Now I am back to, [Guide/tutorial] Asus Transformer Prime/TF201 stock to Android 7.1 Nougat, and Tab DID NOT reboot and launch the HairyBean TWRP recovery (androwook). It also does not want to recognize ADB it wants to be an MPX device. I tried this:
"2 - INSTALL WINDOWS DRIVERS FOR ASUS TRANSFORMER PRIME TF201
- Windows 8/10 :
On keyboard, type combo : "Windows key + R"
In the command prompt, type :
Code: shutdown -o -r -t 0
It opens Windows Recovery menu:
Go to Troubleshoot -> Advanced Options -> Startup settings -> Restart.
At reboot, hit 7 (Disable driver control) and follow instructions for Windows Vista/7.
Once driver installation is completed, reboot PC as usual."
but it did not like both INF files. On Win 7 I did not have a problem but with WIN 10 it is being more difficult. So I have some more troubleshooting to do. Unless of course someone has found a way to get both android_winusb.inf AND android_apxusb.inf to work correctly.
I fully recovered to stock by back to backing the two threads, first this one..https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1927818 then this one..https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2538028
Whatever i did worked as I am back to unlocked stock.
Hi,
I wanted to hard reset my OnePlus 8, as i do times to times to clean the phone (it's the first time on this one). But this time the simple manipulation that i did many times on my op5t, went bad... just after holding power and volume down key, it goes in fastboot mode (same that the picture) and it's written this :
PRODUCT_NAME - kona
VARIANT - SM8 UFS
BOOTLOADER VERSION -
BASEBAND VERSION -
SERIAL NUMBER - (numbers and letters)
SECURE BOOT - yes
DEVICE STATE - locked
and the menu at the top scroll on its own between START/POWER OFF/SHOW BARCODE/RECOVERY MODE/RESTART BOOTLOADER, as if i was holding volume key.
When i hold volume donw or power key, it makes scroll stop but that's all. I try some things, as hold power button for a minute but it did nothing...
what can i do, except wait until the battery goes down to 0% ?
Thank you for you're help

Way 1. Restart Your Android Device
When a situation like the one you are in suddenly comes up, many users forget this basic yet very effective solution. Rebooting your Android device can actually really help you fix many minor issues on your phone. It can fix your phone that is stuck in Fastboot mode as well and there is no harm in giving it a try as it will not have any adverse effects.
Rebooting most phones is as easy as pressing and holding down the Power button. When your phone powers off, press and hold down the Power key again and your phone will turn on. You should now be out of Fastboot mode.

Hello,
My Nokia 9 pureview stucks in fastboot mode "androidOne screen" 3 days now, I've tried all the solution I've found on the net but nothing happens. I can't get to any recovery menu, I really appreciate your help to get out of this mode which I believe I entered accidentally.
