Hi, I'm a newbie so please be gentle with me
I Have recently bought a refurbished Mate 10 Pro - Build No. BLA-09 8.0.0.112 (C652) - I'm in the UK
It absolutely refuses to accept any updates using the Huawei Hi-Suite, I have tried to use the Team MT Firmware Finder but I'm not sure which firmware I should choose as I don't want to get the region wrong. I've searched Google for clues but nothing has come up.... I also have an uneasy feeling that this particular build may have no upgrade path...
Any suggestions on how I should proceed would be most welcome.

Hi Guys
How to get Stock Firmware Package for Huawei Nova 2i RNE-L22C675 ?? Can't find it any where. I need the Stock Firmware Package for Huawei Nova 2i RNE-L22C675 with EMUI 5.0??
I'm beginning to regret getting this phone cause there is literally no firmware support, neither from Huawei nor developers. Which is surprising cause it is came out the ending of last 2017. It's a real shame.
Anyways, if any of you guys have legit unbricking solution for this phone model would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
Good morning fellow Mate 10/pro users.
I have a question regarding the build that is flashed on my phone. I'm positive it was rebranded, but haven't seen any posts on the build that's on my mate 10 CN 6g/128g(alp-tl00)
This is what my About phone shows
Model= ALP-L29
Build= SYSTEM 8.0.0.38(02HX)
Anyone have this build on their phone?

I have the same 'phone as you (almost - mine was an ALP-AL00 before re-branding by the vendor), but mine came supplied with the C636 flavour of firmware.
A quick flick through Google shows several mentions of people trying to re-brand and only managing to get it partially completed, which appears to be what's happened to yours. Prior to seeing your post, I hadn't seen a (what should be a region code) "02HX" version - it appears to be internal to China Mobile (for whom the TL00 is specifically made).
I'd suggest you contact the supplier you got it from to see what fix they can offer.
Hi guys! It´s been a while since I posted last time...
Got myself a Mate 10 Pro and very happy with it. My phone has the latest OTA but I read somewhere that there are more previous firmware. I downloaded Firmware Finder from Play Store and it tells me there are several newer versions for my phone. Is it safe to use this?
My phone has the following firmware:
BLA-L29 8.0.0.142(C432)
Firmware Finder tells me that the latest firmware for my phone is
BLA-L29C432B115a (8.0.0.115a)
I find it a little strange but what is really the newest firmware for my phone?
I use the Swedish version, not locked to any operators.

Whatever is the newest one, you won't be able to force an update via FF. It doesn't work anymore. I have just the same firmware, and see the 115 as the newest as well. I also see 145 as approved for installation, but it doesn't work. You can't download firmware. Huawei changed something on servers. All we can do is waiting for official OTA, or for Team MT to fix it.
Someone tested the BLA-L29C432B115a and it's an old one so no need to apply it lol
Hi, I am using Huawei p20 lite with the build number ANE-LX2C636 and I have been stuck with EMUI 8 for years now and I want to update it to 9 using Firmware Finder, the question is which update should I choose from the list (I know how to check if the update is compatible with my device) since there is a lot and my Android version is very old, should I just install every compatible update starting from the bottom or what?
Thank you guys for your help.

Hi, have you tried upgrade via HiSuite (chinese version) , via HiCare or using eRecovery & Wi-Fi?

Over the course of one month I've tried everything you said two times each, I even contacted Huawei local costumer service and they replied and I quote: "Judging by your IMEI number it doesn't appear that you have a Huawei device at the first place, that is why you don't get updates", so yeah, the phone that I've purchased from an official vendor with a relatively higher price than the free market isn't even registered.
Note: yesterday I tried to download a FullOTA ANE-LX2 EMUI 9.0. update via Firmware Finder and the download unfortunately failed.

FF won't help you, you can try get bootloader unlock code for 4euros on hcu-client.com , then rebrand your phone to global version. Or, buy Service ROM on easy-firmware for 17euros and upgrade your phone to EMUI 9.1 using dload method (yes, crazy ). Sorry, I can't help you anymore
P.S.: try a google search to find the method "patched HiSuite" or "proxy HiSuite", it may help you. Good luck!
I just received a Huawei Mate 10 Model ALP-L29 (C636) which has a build number of 9.0.0.228(C636E2R1P12) and I have been trying to update it to EMUI 12 using the guide from MoS (https://ministryofsolutions.com/2022/07/huawei-mate-10-emui-12-update-asia-pacific.html) but EVERYTIME when it reboots to verify it fails. HiSuite says its compatible but it fails every time. The only difference I see between my phone's build number and the build number in the guide is mine C636E2R1P12 while the guide's is C636E2R1P1. Also I just noticed that the guide says it has to be running the latest EMUI 10. What is the latest and where might I find it? I'm in the US and thanks to the last president Huawei devices won't EVER get any new updates so I hope some one can help me.
