I have the global version 12/256 and I received the update on May 28th. if you look at the official blackshark site in the forum area, find the discussion with the changelog of the rom.

Yep. The update is xxxMP2. China ROM has already had xxxMP3 since April. Still buggy though, especially the camera and touch responsiveness.
Is the notification thingy fixed in this? The side LEDs only light up for a brief moment when notifications are received in standby

latest update have split screen, but any u guys found how to activate it?
Just like with stock android - press recents - hold on app icon - select split screen
Finally they fixed the flickering when unlocking using fingerprint.

If there are any, I have no Clue. I had the Le 2 Pro for my son and ordered this one which I just received and i was surprised about he version.

I have it also coz I just buy it from China website. The version stated 5.9.016s. the icon is very small. Dolby Atmos option is only on and off. No update ota. But no bloatware no live app . Theme setting always crash. It quite stable. But I choose to update with .017s instead for better visual icon scale

Yeah I got it of gearbest.com . Mine did not crash at all, I made a backup of it, But I chose to go with CM13 for now.

I read somewhere that changing the country makes the theme settings good. I think you need to set it on Chinese.
I also have EUI 5.9.016s. Just wondering if it just available to new device for now?
I also got this device today and noticed that it has that 5.9 version as well.
I found it strange because the official is only 5.8 so I am going to wipe it and install the official rom.

Go to the setting in the settings menu (mi-lock or something like that) , there is an option to change the pictures to a collection of you own. Pretty sweet!

Did you have the G model too? Can't find any option like that. There's only "ZTE locker" and no option to change the wallpaper. I can add some of my own but the stock seems to be there.

Yes g model. It doesn't seem to work for me either, I added some of my own photos but the ZTE stuff still appears. Maybe it goes through the ZTE photos first and after that it goes through ours?

Yeah seems like that. You can find your own pics if you swipe through it. But no way to only our picture
I am in France and on B06 - no B08 notification / OTA yet.
I hope it fixes the accessibility setting bug that got introduced in B06... it looks like the dynamic wallpaper issue has been addressed.

The bell is still there, but it is toggled on by default. So the notifications show, but you can still hide them. It is still weird though. Everytime I try to expand them, they snap instantly back together. So I can't click any reply buttons or stuff like that.

Just got the FOTA B08 update on my phone in UK.
MIUI has wired notification issue since MIUI 10 first beta, you just don't get some of the notification on notification drawer as well as on lock screen
examples,
No notification while play-store is downloading any app (so no way to know how much download is done)
notification just popup after it finishes installation
Many Music Payer can't show notification on Lock screen
Any fix for this ? (Allowing Show on Lock screen doesn't work from notification settings)
Comment similar issues you are facing (app , situation in which there's no notification) so that we can send it to POCO team to for a fix
that issue affect miui music player on simple last fm app too that it cant recognize miui music player and it wont scrobble. No issue on miui 9
MIUI 10 is just a big ****.
Bets Rom so long is Global 9.6.25 with this mod for notification.

Dude I am on beta 8.11.2 and both the issues u have described dont exist for me
Play Store downloads, updates both show on the notification shade.
Music, black player both show controls as well as full screen image of album cover on the lockscreen.

8.11.1 was released last Friday and 8.11.2 is just a 30 mb update to it.

Thanks Man , as per candicesu open beta 8.11.1 will released this week..it can be downloaded via OTA for beta testers..This is a good news seems lots of fixes has been fixed. especially notification issue and Pubg notch problem already resolved..

U probably saw an old post. 8.11.1 eu rom is also available now and If u want to use 8.11.1 u can search telegram group if it's not available on XDA

Maybe by region ..some of my friends did'nt recieved it. . it thought you installed 8.11.2 eu rom mod.

So I'm on Chinese firmware 11.0.8 (fully stock) and got an update for the aod function, noticed it had mentioned something about themes and low and behold they now have additional themes you can download, this was something I missed from my s8+ that I still use. Wonder if any other region firmware has this now, I know you can do this though root methods and what not
I am on 11.0.8 CN ROM and dont see this option in themes. Themes had an update but i am not seeing the option you have mentioned above. Anything i need to look for?

Go into your aod options and click on the paint brush top right hand corner, will take you to the theme store

Maybe a global release will happen sometime after 27.4.

Themes app just got updated to 1.7.6.1 and "Always on mode" app is on version "RELEASE-1.19.387-04171657" and i can also choose AOD themes
You need to open getapps. Make sure you install the AOD update. I received the update this evening.

Seems like every MIUI 11 amoled device will get the update in a short time.
Could be that they want to have the option ready before they release MIUI 12

Dont think it can, it would have to be ported over, won't work natively
I have just got the android 11 update on my mi a3 (indian variant), it came late in the indian variant so was wondering if this is the same update or this one is good ?
Edit - updated to android 11 and indian version is safe to install (update size was 1.4 gb), as of now the update seems stable i haven't encounter any bugs yet

Xiaomi and androidone is disaster.
All of the users with android 11 have many problems after the brick version.
So xiaomi is useless.
Updated it today morning, everything looks and working fine to me. Sometimes the recent apps get stuck on the screen, not that big of an issue and I hate the new notification style, and Whatsapp notifications too, takes up half the screen gets very annoying sometimes.

Yeah man, after reading your post i also have updated to android 11 and first impressions are, my phone is not bricked, and as of now it looks stable and yeah notification drop-down is huge
I'm from Brazil and updated to Android 11 today.
This update has many features missing and some bugs:
- Excessive battery drain;
- Slow charge;
- Power menu controls missing;
- No native screen recording;
- Chat Bubbles not working;
- No wifi calling...
Xiaomi send us a 1,4 Gb package just to change some screen transitions...

I agree that some of the features are missing, but battery and charging is fine on my device. Hopefully we will get the missing features in next update.
Chat bubbles are working on some devices. Besides after an OS upgrade, always do a factory reset. Some issues should be solved,
Bluetooth is choppy, anyone else having the same problem ?
