Entering recovery mode on LGM470 (Stylo 3 Plus) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. I have an LG Stylo 3 Plus (32GB) on Telus, with a locked bootloader and no root.
I am trying to enter recovery mode to clear all the caches, however doing
Code:
adb reboot recovery
just takes me to the screen that says "no command" and has the android on its back.
What key combination do I use to enter recovery? I have tried volume down when plugging in a USB cable, however that just brought up fastboot for unlocking the bootloader.

after you flash a new recovery, take the battery off, an right away press the volume down + power button until you see logo. When you see the logo, just take your finger off the power button and press it again

[SOLVED] Getting into Recovery on the Mi Pad 2 [Latte]

So I've been putting custom ROMs on devices for years and I've never had this problem before.
Problem: I can't get into Recovery (TWRP) after I've flashed it but before MIUI restores stock recovery.
I've tried:
1) Holding Vol Up + Power as I hit "fastboot reboot"<Enter> in fastboot
2) Running the power down while in fastboot, giving it a little charge, and then holding Vol Up + Power
3) Locking the bootloader and trying both 1 & 2 again
Result
- Without locking the bootloader I get the "unlocked bootloader" message, have to hit Vol UP and then it boots into System
- With a locked bootloader it ignores my "Vol Up + Power" altogether and just boots into System
For the fun of it I tried Vol Down + Power (to get into fastboot) and had the same problem. Funny thing is if I flash back to stock, VOL UP + POWER gets me into recovery just fine.
Any ideas?

So I figured it.. reading a post in the MIUI forum (XDA won't let me include the link), I found the following:
Turn off your Mi Pad 2, Press power button to turn on Mipad 2, when MI LOGO appeared, immediately Hold down VOL UP and VOL DOWN until you see the yellow line DNX FASTBOOT MODE appears, release the buttons.
Click to collapse
My problem was I was pressing both buttons at the same time as I do with my other devices. Solution is 1) Press power button, 2) wait for MI logo to appear in the center of the screen, 3) Press VOL UP. Voila!

Lg G5 cannot enter in recovery mode

I connect my Lg G5 H850 to PC, open a cmd prompt and I can find it in the adb devices list. But if I try the command: "adb reboot bootloader", it reboot but not in recovery mode. If I try manul recovery mode ( push Vol DN and Power ) it doesn't work too.
What can I try ? Can you help me ?
Thanks
Power down, hold VOL DN and connect LG G5 to the PC ( fastboot start automatically ).
I believe that by default the LG g5 does not have a recovery the closest to that is the method you describe: shut down, turn on with volume down and power button, when you see the LG logo you let go the power button for a second then you press it again (you don't let go the volume down button In any moment) then you see a white screen with some text that asks if you want to wipe the phone, you have to select the "yes" option twice and it will wipe the phone, if you have a custom recovery installed (twrp) it will boot into twrp if not it will only wipe the phone

Help! Xiaomi Mi A3 not booting! Can i boot from my sd card?

Hello! i don't know how but my rooted Mi A3 last night decided on its own to update to Android 10. So i woke up with all of mine Magisk magic all gone. I tried to root again but my phone is stuck on the 'Mi' boot screen.
So here's the situation:
if i press volume up + power button, instead of entering recovery mode the "no Command" screen shows up;
if i try to fastboot, my pc doesn't recognize anymore my device;
There is any another way to enter recovery mode? Can i flash a boot image on a sd card? Do i have to throw away my beloved xiaomi?
You have most probably incompatible Magisk module which prevents phone from booting Android 10. Flash stock boot image to get phone working (fastboot should work, double check your drivers etc.).
Or perform factory reset from stock recovery:
"If presented with an image of a broken Android with "No Command" shown on the screen, do the following:
- Press and hold the Power button.
- While holding the Power button press the Volume Up button then release the Volume Up button then the Power button."

Recovery Mode when unlocked

I can not boot into recovery mode on my unlocked S7 since I need top press power to get past the warning, but that only works if no other button is pressed, and I then boot to the system not recovery. I've watched multiple youtube videos and read up nothing seems to work as you need to hold Power and Vol+, yet you can not do this with an unlocked boot loader.
ERIC
You need to hold it through that warning.. so soon as screen goes black press and hold power and vol+ until you see recovery screen.. or u can use adb reboot recovery or if rooted theres apps that can reboot to recovery or even from magisk manager
