Lockscreen Freeze Issue - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

I had to completely replace my Redmi Note 4X's Touch Screen due to damage. Since then I am experiencing a weird issue with this phone getting froze on lockscreen whenever I take it out from the pocket. Also Double Tap to Wake does not work.
I do not know if this issue is caused by a faulty replacement touchscreen (incompatible/MediaTek Varient) or due to proximity sensor.
Please! devs help me identify and resolve the issue.
refer to below screenshot with Touch Panel details.

Please someone with Redmi Note 4X (india) share his/her LCD panel details so it can be verified if mine has correct display or not.
I think my display has compatibility issue and I want to change it but Original Xiaomi display is costly therefore knowing the correct display spec for this variant will help find correct cheap Chinese display.
App I used to see h/w details as in above screen shot.

when i restore my nandroid backup the touch screen Returned to work but After hours of playback on the phone
my phone returned to not work
this problem from software or hardware ????
can any one help me pleaseeeeeeeeeee ??
Hard to tell because the full image doesn't pop up on my device, but it appears you have LCD failure. One of the transistors that controls the on/off state for a column of pixels is stuck in the off position. Unfortunately, replacing the screen is the only option.

how bout trying to install custom rom such as dsc 2.0?
if you tried and the problem still persists, means that the hardware is the real problem. i mean the lcd hardware..
And now I see that the line is one drawn on the picture. :silly:
Still...try updating the ROM. But be aware of the very real possibility that updating the ROM is a placebo, and there still may be a fault in the digitizer which is intermittently knocking out the touchscreen.

You will probably want the glue/stickietape for the back and front closure. I'm not sure if it is a clamp fix or glue for the ribbon cable, I seem to remember someone having trouble with a screen replacement
@asadkhanduhh From what I can ascertain from your photograph, you do not need the digitizer panel as I cannot see any break in the glass.
It is the LCD panel that has broken, suggested by the lines of color running up and down and across the screen, It might not be a bad idea to get the digitizer panel aswell, if it is broken, or in case you do break it whilst opening the phone up, and if so, you might aswell purchase a pre-assembled LCD panel & Digitizer unit to save cost and effort in separating the glass from the LCD panel.
thank you two for your replies.
i will keep the repair progress updated.
thanks again.

[POSSIBLE FIX!]Touchscreen Deadspot by Cristi Oprea

A user from YouTube has a methode to solve deadspots on touchscreen.

This is what he used to to drain out rasidual electricity, which, according to the man, is causing deadspot in the first place.
He talk more about it here in this video.
i just bought (used) G2 n have that issue. has it been solved before? m i missing something?
if not how accurate Cristi's method is?
I've recently gotten this issue on my g2, I don't really mind the dead band but when it ghost touches the phone is virtually unusable. I don't think there is a real solution yet, but I think its a software issue because people that change the digitizer/lcd say it can reappear soon after. I tried this method to try and fix it, but it didn't work for me.
I love this phone, but this issue is really killing it for me.
Hi! I have lg g2 f320 and i have a problem:ghost touch and dead spot on the Touchscreen . I tries that metod by Cristi Oprea and doesn't work maybe i don't do that correct. Can you please tell me how to do ?Maybe do a video.

[RM NOTE 3 PRO] Which parts are these?

Can anyone figure which parts are these from the redmi note 3 internals? I disassembled the whole thing (incld LCD panel) and couldnt figure where this fit. Oddly, the phone is functioning 100% alright (for now). :/

First of all, wrong section. Secondly... and there are leds on sensor strip on redmi note 3 for notification light... that strip is called sensor strip for the most of smartphones becuase sensors also sits on that strip.. but in redmi note 3 sensors sits in logic board itself.. and that strip only has notification led.. and also i cant see any connector on that thing.. looks like you ripped off that strip... and that black rubber thing fits in the combo just next to front camera.. sensor module rest inside that rubber only.
You just ruined your GPS good job
That looks like the thing that connects to the fingerprint sensor.
Are you sure the fingerprint works ?
