Need help! Camera causing certain artifacts when taking a shot. - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

When i try to take a photo of my window against the light i can see the window reflected on the lens and the image taken contains it. I've seen other threads mention the same issue when taking the photo of some light source, but this happens with the whole window

This effect is really visible when there is sufficient light outside. I'd like to know whether this is a hardware defect as i have only seen posts having a small circle or a dot.

Just came across this by accident in Tapatalk, but this is certainly a reflection caused by the camera's flat protective screen, which lacks an antireflective coating, to make things worse.

Banding screen Droid RAZR

Hi, all!
I have just bought my new moto, everything is cool but screen has parallel lines at low brightness and on grey and blue pictures. I heard about this issue on Super AMOLED but I think that on my screen this is too match. Please, check out photos.
The first photo is white pattern at low at brightness level about 10%. The second is grey pattern at about 80%. The last one is photo at about 60% of brightness.

Is it normal or I should to swap phone?
oh snap, that is real bad, compared to my phone thats really not normal.
Yeah not normal
you should get it replaced.
I went to service center in hope to replace for a new one but there don't want to replace, they show me another phone with similar defect and sad that this is pretty "obvious" for this model. I think they are hustler or I have a luck to talk with not competent people.
Thanks a lot for your respond, it give me confidence that truth is on my side and I will try to replace phone anyway.

Camera lens issue

From last few weeks i noticed that my snaps are not clear & sharp they used to be. I tried various settings, tried other camera apps, still images were blurry. Then i notice white particles on my camera lens. I tried to clean it, but they are not from outside.
Ideally lens should be clear like below one.

But in my camera i cant see lens, it is totally covered with some dust particles.
My warranty is already expired.
I m going to take cell to the service center after 2 days, how much they will charge. I think its possible to clean lens from inside.
See this
What you guys think, do i need to replace whole camera or service center guys can clean it?
I know these service center guys may tell me its hardware fault and will charge me more, so just want to clarify have any one faced similar kind of issue and how you solved it.
Right now don't have good camera to click actual photo of my lens. Will try to post it asap.

[Q] Digitizer/Grey Lines

I'm wondering if the faint vertical gray lines I see on my G3 are a device specific issue or if everyone is having the same problem. For some reason whenever I look at the stock background or anything with white or light colors I can see vertical gray lines on my G3's screen. They aren't that noticeable, but now that I have noticed them, I seem to always notice them. Does anyone else have this problem or should I exchange my device for a new one?
So looking at a white or light background makes these "grey bars" visible?

Yes, faint but now that I've seen it already they bug me.
All the LG G3 phones have it. Some people notice them, some don't. And they vary in degree
Those little grey lines
Are your phones capacitive input sensors, its how the phone registers touch.

Does everyone have the "rainbow effect"? It's deal breaker?

Just brought it, i really like it in all aspects except the annoying rainbow effect, i can even see it without tilt the tablet, especially in landscape, just wondering EVERYONE have this problem? after some time of use you get used to? any way of fix it?
I was thinking of change it but it doesn't make sense if all units are faulty

I am unable to access your screen picture but my tablet is perfectly normal and has none of the aberrations you describe. I was in a shop yesterday and handled the two display models and they were fine too. So I would suspect a fault with yours.
Here are the pics http://imgur.com/a/mpuTI#0
So your tablet doesn't have any of this when you tilt it?
I noticed a rainbow effect when I first got mine, but now I don't see it at all unless I really look for it.

No, none of that. Using the same Google page,I have tilted it in every direction and it is a clean high quality IPS screen with no artifacts.

Question Weird Screen "Anomaly"

S23 Ultra when viewed under 365nm UV flashlight looks like something is behind the screen glass as pictured.

My iPhone 14 Pro Max looks the outer area of the screen.
The "blob" looks almost like something is under the screen.
Viewed normally, the screen looks perfectly fine.
If anyone has one of these lights, can you check your phone to see if it looks like this?
Other phones have this too. Did a cursory google search. First page threw up results like these:
This was seen on the Note 9 and Note20 Ultra. It likely has to do with the adhesive to the frame but it doesn't effect the screen in normal lighting. Given the prevalence, it's probably not a defect.
First time I noticed this. I will check my Pixel 6 Pro next.
Interestingly enough none of the iphones show this.
I gonna guess that it's the OCA/LOCA (Liquid - Optical Clear Adhesive)
All modern phone screen use either one of those two to glued the glass to the image display panel.
