hi guys, the problem i have is this:
i'd like to open *.epub file attached to an email (or if i find it in the system file manager), just tapping on it,(like IOS do) and even if i've the app that can open this file (i've installed moon+reader and alkido) under file like the *.epub appear only the button 'info' and if i tap on it, it says 'no app for this file' .
this problem is for all the ebook files epub/mobi/ecc...ecc.. and rar archives!
another question :
how can i open the book i've already bought in google play books?!
it seems it can open books only if you download it from the 'play books store'.
i find a "solution" even if it is not really what i expect, in some file manager ("Root Explorer", "ES Gestore File" and "X-plore") you can choose tha app that have to open the file, but they didin't memorize that setting, and all the time you wanna open that file, you have to do a long tap on it and than choose 'open with' and than the app you want to use!
sorry for my english!
i hope i'd been able to explain my problem!(and to find a solution)
Try uninstalling aldiko and the other book readers then reinstall them.
When you've done this open aldiko and search your epub file, it will add to your book shelf!
but it will not find an ebook attached to an email!
even if i unistall and reinstall the ebook readers!

Click to collapse
youll have to save the attachment from the email first then open it
i use gmail as email manager, and im not even able to save it! i just can tap 'info'
i'd like to find a 'windows like' solution , for this extension use this app!!
and not all the time 'save' than open a specific file manager , find the file and funally open it!it's boring!
Hello, is there any way to extract data from a local csv datafile with app inventor?
For example, my app downloads a csv file in a specific folder ... how can I make a variable-list ?
My app get datafile from web and correctly save in a folder, just like I want it. But when I use "web1.gottext", I always get "Unable to get a response with url file:///sdcard/folder/datafile.csv"
Thanks!
hey I was wondering if there is a way to download the apk file from the app store, like instead of just installing the app also to download the apk to the download folder or something. thx in advance

No, it's not possible.
yepp , i found one
Download APK Leacher from google fill the jar file in with your id ( Google play id ) and device id which you can find by dialing *#*#8255#*#* , search the file and download it , but DI IT AT YOUR OWN RISK thats what i was told before doing it ...
Hi,
Can someone remind me where to place the .apk`s data file please? Google is not my friend!
I have installed the apk and have the com. file but for the life of me can remember where to put it!?
Com. Files go in sdcard/android/data
However there are some apps that require it to be on a folder named obb which you need to create on sdcard/android. Normally the website where you downloaded the app should say where to put it down, if not try the first one
Hope it helps

Use file explorer
Open the app so that the PDF files are downloaded. Then keep the app open, don't close it.
Go to your Android file explorer and go to Android>data.
In this look for the app name. Must be something like com. followed by app name or app developer or something related. Check in that folder.
