Today I had accidentally flashed H930 v22j to my LS998 converted to US998. Now it didn't boot at all, just stuck at V30 logo.
I've tried to use LGUP to restore to US998 KDZ but this error shows:

I am unsure... Did you try to refurbish back to US998 yet? Any major issues I ever ran into with my H933 (Canadian version) I had to refurbish... Not partition DL

Is that by OTA or Through the LG support tool?
I thought it already came out for Three UK I'm sure I've seen reports previously.

Just rolled back to JB and done the update by OTA. Battery life seem improved that way.
Hello, LG V30 H933 users, please send me the first 10 digit of your LG H933 imei, I want to check the firmware for the LG V30 H933.
According to LG official, LG released the firmware for LG H933 on Oct. 21. It is available for download from LG server,
Good luck with that one.
Seems nobody can help with h930/h933 dumps. In other time these would have been available some days ago. Seen that people shouldn't expect much developing.

The H930 still hasn't been officially released. As of October 29 (right now) LG site still shows H930 "preorder" available and UK retailer Carphone Warehouse shows Nov 1 available for H930 on their website.
Someone in this forum got one a few days ago by signing a two year contract through "1&1", but that seems to be the exception.

Once the bootloader is unlocked on the H930 and then the US998, then there will be lots of development. Bootloader unlock has to wait until the devices are added to the LG Developer Bootloader Unlock list.
I just looked at phone this morning and I saw a message something like
System Update complete
Then my phone rebooted
Did we get something updated today? My security patch says March 1st. Don't remember what it was before…

Were you on Oreo before? If not, did you just receive the Oreo update others have already gotten?
Or maybe just a "security update" to prevent the Frankenstein phone conversion, where you can fully convert your LG V30 Sprint LS998 phone to something actually useful (AS998) and not carrier locked down.

I was already on Oreo
The Frankenstein wouldn't have helped me do anything on US Sprint right?
How would I know that's what it was?

No, Frankenstein wouldn't help you on Sprint. It's for people who want to buy cheap Sprint phones and use them with a better carrier.
Like I just bought a mint Sprint V30+ for $350 for my sister. To use on AT&T, after I convert it to AS998 (which is identical to US998).
Sprint doesn't want that. They carrier lock their phones on purpose. They want you in Sprint prison.
Sent via open market LG US998 V30/V30+
I got this same update last night. I believe it was just a PRL or some other sort of service update.

What KDZ did you try to flash it to? For North America V30/V30+/V30S variants, you have to choose other North America variants -- except T-mobile H932 is off limits due to different RSA encryption. You can cross-flash LS998, AS998, US998, H931, H933, VS996.
At what point in the process did it "brick"? After Nougat, after Master Reset, after Oreo? Did you Refurbish or use DL Partition? If DL Partition, did you choose ALL partitions?
The instructions are fairly simple. What did you do differently to make it brick?
And there's some reason you opened another these instead of posting in the Frankenstein thread? THOSE are the directions (link below) you followed, right?
FRANKENSTEIN - CONVERTING ANY NORTH AMERICA V30/V30+ (except T-mobile H932) TO US998 OREO
Those are THE instructions. Most people want to flash to US998, for bootloader unlock and root, so that's why US998 is featured, but you can substitute any other North American KDZ you have -- EXCEPT for T-mobile H932.
I'm asking all these questions because there are websites out there that take some XDA content and truncate it it severely, pretending to give you instructions on how to do something and it's totally ridiculous. It's about 1/3 of what you REALLY need to do. When I read THEIR VERSION of WTF instructions I wrote, I have to laugh. They "credit" me, but I don't want that credit. It's a total disaster if anyone actually try to follow their Reader's Digest version. The leave out important steps or try to promote malware downloads.
I just flashed Tmobile stock 20s recently. I got this update yesterday. What this update about? I don't think i can update it since i've TWRP.

What do you think it is? 20s is Oreo. Pie has been out for months now. The update is probably Pie 30d, which was released back in October 2019.
No, if you have TWRP do NOT flash any OTA. In fact you need to freeze all OTA updates.

I would ask fellow T-mobile H932 users who have rooted their phones, like you.
Ask in the thread where you rooted your phone:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v30/how-to/root-h932-lafploit-1-5-to-v20a-t3842550
If fact, if you go to that thread and search for "freeze" you find this:

Use Titanium Backup and search for FOTA. That should be the OTA check. Freeze it.

You will also find some other files you should freeze. See this page:
