i buy p20 lite. sometimes dont response screen when i want unlock, it shows lockscreen and not work screen to unlock even when swipe selected. i dont know why. i updated software from 8.0.0 152 to 180. i got 9 but dont installed. maybe fault phone? i have warranty. i see black screen and battery low 8% percent i see red color in battery when i see black screen when i try unlock and dont response to unlock, just shows lockscreen and screen goes black even when i tapping on screen, on lockscreen shows battery good, but when screen dont response to unlock, the phone goes sleep and when i try unlock dont response anything just shows screenlock, and when to try unlock dont unlock i see black screen on top bar and battery left 8% but not as the same on locksreen which exactly percent 78% on lockscreen, but when i try unlock shows 78% when i press lock button i see lockscreen shows but when dont response screen i see black top status bar and left 8% wtf. when restarting phone unlocking perfect, but the same issue repeated every day
1 don't you use fingerprint unlock?
2 have you dropped your phone to water?

It is a problem with touch pad or sensor. You better waranty clame.
Don't update to Android 9. It will be slow.

Hello, im using the nordic version and last night i get the 2.1 update...
My problem is about the battery indicator when i turn on the phone after update when i lock the screen i see there the clock, brand, alarm and the percentage of the battery remaining.... now this battery indicator has dissapeared??
Can anyone give me a solution/answer ??
Perhaps it was a widget and you can get it back off there, i can check since i havent had the update yet
I don't have my charger with me now but if i am not mistaken the battery indicator appears on the lock screen only when you are charging the phone.
I don't understand why SE don't put this percentage in the lock screen ALL TIME??? is very easy to push the "on" button to see the remaining battery than unclock and start to find stupid widgets...
PS: the battery appear in the lock screen only under 15% and charging mode, lol.
so when ever the tab is fully charged the screen turns on and wont go of until i click the lock button.
i don't have power savings mode. timeout is set to one min. and no auto adjust screen power. 3.2 stock rom
i cant find any settings to adjust this specifically so i don't know what this is. i just don't like the idea of the tab sitting for hours with screen on
EDIT: also noticed that if i put to charge screen wont go of, just fades after the 1 min timeout. i must manually turn it of. i.e push lock button

If you put tablet to charge did the big-clock screensaver shows up?
If so, you must press back on the bottom tab to let it go away and then it wil fade out and turn off the screen after timeout you have set up in settings...
The only time when screen goes on after charging and stay in that state is when charging with Tablet switched off {big battery charging indicator show up...}...
is it the lock screen your talking about, if so then yes. tab is put to charge and locked. then when full it makes a sound then shows lock screen and fades a bit after some time, but doesn't turn of. screen is of until fully charged. then turns on.
Hmm... this doesn't seems to be normal. On my tab, when fully charged it just make a sound and doesn't unlock or light up the screen...
Which country are you from and what ROM are you using? This might be an unwanted "feature" of branded ROM from some operator/provider...
Maybe if you are planning to Root and give your Tab some nice new ROM from here, your problems will be solved...
im planing on rooting as soon as CM9 is done. im in norway. we dont have operators/providers screwing up our phones like in the states.
Hello all, I am currently researching some new phone as my Lg G2 is failing. I thought I would explain the issue though incase its something that could be fixed. The issue started the other day when my phone kept activating in my pocket even with screen lock on. When I try to use my phone the screen would randomly change to a clock face with a small lock symbol in the bottom right of the clock . This clock would be on the top of the screen and the screen would only respond to touch inside the clock image. It would not unlock when swiping. Also while this clock is on my screen if I received a incomming call the clock would be replace with the normal accept or decline screen while shrunk in this small box the clock occupied. It would let me swipe accept call and talk.
I could not google this issue, anyone seen this before?

Wanted to add, I also reset phone back to factory settings and it didnt fix it.
Recenlty I have noticed an issue when I use fingerprint unlock on my device. This is an Intermittent issue. I will unlock the phone with my fingerprint and I can hear the unlock sound, however the screen stays black and just displays the AOD (clock). Screen does not respond to touch and sometimes the clock that is displayed is off (i have seen it several hours behind after sitting overnight). I can push the power button to relock the screen and hear the LOCK sound and then fingerprint or power button will wake the screen again. Its rather annoying.

I have a cheap LYF phone which has a strange issue. When I switch on the phone and try to open the lock screen - it flickers to the wallpaper, then goes blank and couple of seconds later relocks the screen. And it repeats the cycle over and over again, automatically. Screen turns on, it goes to the app drawer, screen flickers, goes blank and relocks the screen.
Even the top half of the screen which shows network connectivity flickers between showing no sim, then no connectivity, back to no sim. It is also losing battery at a rapid rate because of these changes. It doesn't even charge when the phone is on. Charging while the phone is switched off works fine.
