Hello, i did a bit reaserch in Internet to find any guide to flash the WW firmware on CN device. I saw, that on Zenfone 2 you need boot.img, recovery.img and droidboot.img. Do anybody know what for files are they? Modded or just extracted from a WW version? Probably simple flashing WW firmware on my phone will brick it, will not?
I hope that we can do it since we have tool to unlock bootloader, but I'm not an expert.

Why would you want to change to the WW I don't see any advantages to having it over the CN?. Also the CN version gets updates earlier than other models.
I just wanted to have more languages (I need german and polish - more locale app doesn't satisfy me). Other thing is that I don't wanna this all Chinese stuff like on left home screen.

Hello.
I have US version of Tablet S that came with R5 firmware. It's rooted but according to many replies the recovery is locked so I can't flash anything on it, even downgrade is impossible.
I'm sending this table to a friend of mine in Russia. Do I need, if I can obviously, flash RU regional firmware or it should work there as US version fine?
If I can and should flash it, how would I do it? (AiO tool doesn't seem to work for flashing custom roms due to locked recovery)
Code:
Russia
ICS Release 5a
info.update.sony.net/ST003/nbx03_042/contents/0011/signed-nbx03_042-ota-121116102.zip
ICS Release 1a
info.update.sony.net/ST003/nbx03_042/contents/0010/signed-nbx03_042-ota-120804013.zip
Thank you.

Hello, my Amazfit Pace international has unlocked. With a stock US 2.8.5.0 firmware.
Actually I just want to install Alipay. But unfortunately it failed. So now I am thinking to change to Stock Chinese firmware.
I can find a thread about returning to Stock US firmware but no about Stock CN firmware for Pace.
Thank you so much.

Can dd-mm date mod be installed over this rom?
It is technically possible to change the firmware on the Amazfit Pace International version to the stock Chinese version, but it is not recommended as it may cause issues with the device's functionality and compatibility with apps, as well as voiding the warranty.
If you still wish to proceed with the firmware change, you will need to download the Chinese firmware for the Amazfit Pace, which can be found on various websites that offer firmware downloads. You will also need to use a third-party tool like the Amazfit Flash Tool to flash the firmware onto your device.
However, please note that changing the firmware on your device can be risky, and may potentially damage your device. Additionally, it is important to ensure that the firmware you are downloading is from a trusted source, as downloading firmware from an unverified source can expose your device to malware and other security risks.
You can download them here: https://www.asus.com/Phone/ROG-Phone-3/HelpDesk_BIOS/
The current software version on my unit is WW-17.0823.2007.25. Firmware for that version is available. However, the kernel source code is only available right now for an older version, WW-V17.0822.2005.7. The phone isn't even available yet, so give it some time for updated sources to become available.
Finally, the bootloader unlock tool can be downloaded from the above site. I haven't tested it yet (I don't plan on wiping my review unit just yet) but I'm sure others will once they get their devices.

Hi guys!!!
I read a lot this days and i could find a way to change CN to WW in the last Rog phone 2. The steps are:
1) Download the unlock tool (find in the asus page). The bootlader is open and you cant get OTA. (later you need to close with boot.img)
2)Download the WW rom and install it with the phone in recovery (find de rom in this pages or in asus page)
3)Root the phone and change fingerprint with root explorer.
------------------------------
Now you must to restart the original bootloader with boot.img flashing....
but the problem is that we havent "boot.img" yet.
once we find boot.img for rog phone 3, we could change CN rom to WW rom...

Hi all,
I wanted to flash a newer android 13 stock firmware because my Sony from a UK operator doesn't get the OTA update.
I have the firmware from XperiFirm and made the ftf with flashtool. Just before I was about to get if flashed I was reading comment saying this tool is not good anymore, but I am not 100% sure how to use the Newflasher instead.
Could someone help me on that?
I don't really want to brick my phone and if it's not a safe way to get android 13 I might just don't do it.
Cheers.
