I have a mod of Food Fantasy, which includes the folder that one can normally find only by rooting their phone, and would like to try something I found on YouTube that involves renaming it, so as to allow the game to connect to Google Play Games:
MOD Edit:- Links Removed
If someone reading this has already rooted their phone, please download the game, and then find the folder and give me its rightful name.

A game that I downloaded made me download extra files within the game to make it work, is it possible that I could copy those files over to a different android device so I dont have to waste time in downloading those files again?
And if so can someone tell me which files it is that I should look for in copying.
Hello everyone, I have been reading this forum for some time and decided to register. It's a great resource site with amazing info.
I have been playing with apktool to learn how apps are made. Decompiled following the guide from this forum.
However I can't find what I'm looking for in the apps. For example, it's easy to edit the drawable folders of the apps and change the images.
I took some apps that gather feeds from news sites and I tried to find where are the feeds URLs coded or embedded inside the apps files, and could not find any info at all. No URLs at all. I opened the XMLs, and other files inside res, lib or smali folders, opened a lot of the files with Notepad++ and I can't find any information about it, or any place where the app connects to the website.
Is it possible to access that info when we decompile with apktool?
I also watched a lot of videos in YouTube, on how to edit apps with apktool, and all of them explain how to change the images, but nothing else.
Is it only possible to edit the theme/design of an app, when we decompile with apktool? Or can we go further and change something else?
Any help appreciated.
Ok, after further research, and some trial and error, it seems apktool only does a very superficial decompile of the apk. It won't give you the actual source code of the app. So you can only do some very basic changes to the app, like images and such. However it is a very good first step to decompile the app.
I realized we need to use other tools to create and decompile the .jar files. I will keep experimenting.
Apktool can also be used in reverse engineering apps. But not intended for piracy use

Hi
There is a watchface that i put in my favs and the creator has been asked to adjust the branding on it (probably someone complained). This update didnt affect the watch face for me somehow, now i am switching phones and the update is in effect on the new device.
When i sync the gear s3 back to the old device, still use the original watchface.
So my assumption is the watchface is stored on my phone (somewhere, somehow)
Does anyone know where to look? I downloaded ES File Explorer and tried going thru the app apk, and the app folder under android>data>com.jeremysteckling.face : not sure where to look in the apk cant find any *.face files and the folder (just says "empty").
Appreciate any help :fingers-crossed:

There is one application called AMA Perfect Body Diet which I loved to use in 2013-2014. Sadly, it comes only in .jar or .jad extensions. I searched for so long and found only one link where these jar/jad files are provided - at wapcuy.com/data/file/3203/Samsung-Games-AMA-Perfect-Body-Diet-Screen-240x400-jar.html
I tried to get an .apk file using Netmite Get APK tool and got an apk file. When I open it, a screen pops up saying I need to download Java J2ME Runner which I did. Afterwards I open the apk file again and the text in the app says "This application cannot run in landscape mode. Please switch back to portrait mode". When I press the screen, the application music starts but the text does not disappear. I tried switching modes but nothing changes.
Can you please help me?? I am desperate for answers and I really need this application Searching for help :crying: It would mean the world to me if I would get this app back again
So it's pretty given that when you change anything in an obb file it breaks the link to its apk file.
But I've encountered a modded game in which changing the structure of the obb file doesn't break the link and you can load the game perfectly fine. Which opens the world to adding new contents into the obb file.
I'd like to know how to do this. I have no idea who the author of the modded game is so idk how to ask how he did it. So I'm here.
I have the original copy of the game but I want to mod it to add additional contents into it. Like more skins, etc.
