Best custom rom july 2019 - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 / 5 Plus Questions & Answers

Sory to say brothers i am using after a long time plz suggest me a most stable and nowadays bugless rom ...with smooth battery backup which u have tested .....

? Stop asking for the best ROM (for battery, for performance or any other criteria), it doesn't exist. If there was one true best ROM, do you think there would be other ROMs?
? There is only subjectively best and that's different for everyone. Everyone has different usage patterns and preferences, so when asking for the best, you get the best for them, not the best for you. The only way you'll find the best one for you is by trying them yourself. They're all free, anyway.
? Also, keep in mind that the devs are not competing against each other and they're not trying to win you over or anything. They all have different design goals, they're not trying to be better than one another. They're just trying to be different. Asking for the best is quite disrespectful towards the devs.

nothing is best my friend. still, you can try any rom with VIMB kernel for better performance!

Best ROM To Use?

Hello everyone, I am new to this forums but have been operating on phones for a while, I am currently wanting to ROM my Samsung S3 ( I9300 ) to a nice interface and a nice stable ROM. I have narrowed my search down to TWO ROM's that I like and have read up on a lot but I was wondering if I could have some opinions. I am basically struggling to decide on which one to choose. I am mainly wanting the ROM with the best stability but also nice looks if that's possible with either of the ROM's below:
Would you rather install 'Ressurrection Remix' or 'CyanogenMod' and why?
Im using ResurrectionRemix at the moment and its very stable , unless u go to the settings and faceroll enable all the customizations
Hey man, if you don't mind me asking, what do you use your phone for as mine needs to be stable but also optimized

Best mega rom

Which is the best rom for mega the Samsung rom is really lag
Telling that one ROM is better than another is quite disrespectful to developers. They mostly spend their free time working for free.If you ask here everyone has their own opinion of what is best for them.you should try a few of them by yourself and decide what's best for you, i recommend to start with CM (CyanogenMod)

Best ROM for Stability and Nexus-Like Experience

I haven't found a comparison - what do people recommend for a stable non-buggy ROM?
Comparison between ROM is not appreciated because it is underrating work from Devs done on their free time for free...
Each one has advantage and all are stable for daily use.
If you have some time, flash all of them, and check which do you prefer.
Personnaly, i like customization with animations and so on (UI friendly) so I choosed AEX, Crdroid or RR.
For pixel like experience go with Mokee
LineageOS. all works, fast phone. Best ROM
LineageOS 14.1 seems to be working great as a daily driver right now on my LIW-L24.

I disagree. Taking the "every kid gets a trophy!" approach doesn't reward work that stands out from the rest and doesn't help to advance overall progress and innovation.
Some roms can be better, faster, and/or more stable than others and it's not unfair to say it. It's called constructive criticism and good devs use this to their advantage to better their work.
If I say I prefer rom A over rom B, that's not degrading/underrating/insulting the dev of rom B and if he/she takes it as such then they're in the wrong line of work...regardless of if they're paid for it or not.

It is your personal taste that you prefer A over B.
Its subjective...
You like LOS, i like RR, who s right ? [emoji1]
Sent from my KIW-L21 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
The stability is very important, updates are important, how it merges changes to updated apps is important(Magisk,Supersu, as examples). With all that said, by now, for the 5x, all roms are very stable. Time has been put in, problems fixed, no need to worry.
I like LOS too
I too but pure Nexus is a great choice

As on January 24, 2018, there is next to zero development for this device, Don't know what it takes to get the developers interested...
I can confirm that zero development right now
With xiaomi.eu rom, miui pro and lineage os we have something for everyone, and that without the sources. now that the source code has been released, the development will really start I guess. we also have aokp and ressurection remix which both look promising. people are just underestimating the effort it takes to create a rom.. the development is not that strong, but when you consider that it's a special device (not everyones taste) and that the sources had just been released it's looking good
Some ROMs are there. But development is extreme slow. Faulty bought.
faulty bought? lol
ok what do you need from 3rd party non-miui rom over miui?
Miui 9 pretty much includes alot of features that 3rd party rom has so there no real point to go for other roms unless you have specific need which doesn't give a good enough reason for any devs to go in and spend their precious time and probably end up with bunch of whiny users asking for update EVERYDAY....
to me, i found by root and install mi-globe rom + install google camera apk pretty much completes this phone already.
no issue spotted. also i'm using Lspeed for system tuning.
you have to learn to adapt the current world.
Yes RR does look promising, but then other phones got RR pretty soon, it's just that this one is taking a good long wait ...
The present RR is unusable BTW..

the developer stopped development until february
Not even one oficial rom builder, and those unofficial roms are full of bugs.

Good custom rom for a3 ?

joke what xiaomi does. deliberately bought a3 because i like stock android. but it doesn't take months to release the promised update, and after the buggy wastes the software. so there is nothing more than a custom rom.
So what the best android 10 based custom rom ?
There is no best ROM it is completely subjective. It depends what you want and what you like.
If there was one 'best rom' than no other ROM would exist because what's the point.
You have to try to see what is right for you.
That's like saying what is the best car in the world you will get a lot of different answers because people have different tastes.
What exactly are you looking for? Battery life? Performance? In between? A lot of customisation? There are many things to consider
I have tested all roms. Syberia is best
