Which is the best rom for mega the Samsung rom is really lag
Telling that one ROM is better than another is quite disrespectful to developers. They mostly spend their free time working for free.If you ask here everyone has their own opinion of what is best for them.you should try a few of them by yourself and decide what's best for you, i recommend to start with CM (CyanogenMod)

Hello all, I have a Samsung Korea shw-m250L cdma version and I only use it for multimedia purposes (think ipod touch) sine I cannot use the phone functions of it in my country. I want to know the best rom for me that would maximize the multimedia performance of my device. No bloatwares, no funky custom animations or themes, and no need for gps. Only for music, movies, games and wifi. Battery life is not a concern as long as it is fast. Need help asap. Thanks!

any rom will do, just choose the one you like the most and install your favourite multimedia app.
Personally i like the rom with the google look with poweramp for the music/video
Since you have a Korean model of the SGS II this thread might give you some help on getting started with custom roms.

personally any new Jelly Bean custom Rom based on Samsung stock firmware will be perfect as most of the media capabilities are built in with everything you need.
JB Roms are very fast and smooth so win win! try looking at the latest NeatRom Lite!

Good luck!
Is the phone nicked. How can you not use the functions in your country.
Best Rom threads are not allowed as there is no such thing. What's the best rom for me sucks for the next person. It's all subjective

Hey guys!
So what the title says, In my opinion the best galaxy S3 ROM going is the Illusion Rom 2.6
Its based on Android 4.3 jellybean, has the Nova launcher on there and after some purchasing of around £3 Ive made it into the best Rom ive ever used
Get the Googy max kernel as well, its so awesome
Heres a link to the Rom, watch the video if you want, it shows how smooth and beautiful the Rom is after some tweaking ( Not twerking -_- )

Yep. Best ROM based on a buggy 4.3 release on which Samsung even halted it's rollout. Have fun
Best ROM threads are frowned upon.. It's all subjective.. what the best rom is for you will suck for someone else..

Hello everyone, I am new to this forums but have been operating on phones for a while, I am currently wanting to ROM my Samsung S3 ( I9300 ) to a nice interface and a nice stable ROM. I have narrowed my search down to TWO ROM's that I like and have read up on a lot but I was wondering if I could have some opinions. I am basically struggling to decide on which one to choose. I am mainly wanting the ROM with the best stability but also nice looks if that's possible with either of the ROM's below:
Would you rather install 'Ressurrection Remix' or 'CyanogenMod' and why?
Im using ResurrectionRemix at the moment and its very stable , unless u go to the settings and faceroll enable all the customizations
Hey man, if you don't mind me asking, what do you use your phone for as mine needs to be stable but also optimized
I haven't found a comparison - what do people recommend for a stable non-buggy ROM?
Comparison between ROM is not appreciated because it is underrating work from Devs done on their free time for free...
Each one has advantage and all are stable for daily use.
If you have some time, flash all of them, and check which do you prefer.
Personnaly, i like customization with animations and so on (UI friendly) so I choosed AEX, Crdroid or RR.
For pixel like experience go with Mokee
LineageOS. all works, fast phone. Best ROM
LineageOS 14.1 seems to be working great as a daily driver right now on my LIW-L24.

I disagree. Taking the "every kid gets a trophy!" approach doesn't reward work that stands out from the rest and doesn't help to advance overall progress and innovation.
Some roms can be better, faster, and/or more stable than others and it's not unfair to say it. It's called constructive criticism and good devs use this to their advantage to better their work.
If I say I prefer rom A over rom B, that's not degrading/underrating/insulting the dev of rom B and if he/she takes it as such then they're in the wrong line of work...regardless of if they're paid for it or not.

It is your personal taste that you prefer A over B.
Its subjective...

The stability is very important, updates are important, how it merges changes to updated apps is important(Magisk,Supersu, as examples). With all that said, by now, for the 5x, all roms are very stable. Time has been put in, problems fixed, no need to worry.
I like LOS too
I too but pure Nexus is a great choice
Sory to say brothers i am using after a long time plz suggest me a most stable and nowadays bugless rom ...with smooth battery backup which u have tested .....
? Stop asking for the best ROM (for battery, for performance or any other criteria), it doesn't exist. If there was one true best ROM, do you think there would be other ROMs?
? There is only subjectively best and that's different for everyone. Everyone has different usage patterns and preferences, so when asking for the best, you get the best for them, not the best for you. The only way you'll find the best one for you is by trying them yourself. They're all free, anyway.
? Also, keep in mind that the devs are not competing against each other and they're not trying to win you over or anything. They all have different design goals, they're not trying to be better than one another. They're just trying to be different. Asking for the best is quite disrespectful towards the devs.
nothing is best my friend. still, you can try any rom with VIMB kernel for better performance!
