I accidentally bricked my Galaxy View when trying to root it with Odin. It's not stuck on a screen that says to restore using Smart Switch, but Smart Switch says its unsupported. Is there any way to unbrick the device? Thanks in advance.
what gview are you using? which model / carrier? You can upload firmware to the device even if that message comes on during boot. Odin and firmware flash should disregard that message.

Hello, I'm using Samsung s4 (GT-I9505 carrier free) device and I tried to root my device with ODIN. But the process got failed and now my device is briked. When I switch on my device I get an error "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies & try again". I tried recovering my device using kies but kies was unable to initialize my device model. Please help me to unbrick my device. Thanks in advance.
Can anyone help me unbrick my phone? I can't seem to get anywhere with steps to create debrick.img file that works with my device. I rooted my device and some went wrong at a restart and now all I get is a black screen. I can't get anywhere with recovery. I have tried odin to flash stock rom without any success getting device to accept any downloads.

So I was trying to root my phone last night and watched some guides but none of them matched my Samsung Galaxy S4 4.4.2 SGH-1337m Sasktel so then I finally found an article: I cant post the link but the title was Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update: How To Root SGH-I337M Variant On Latest OS And Install Custom ROMs [TUTORIAL] Please look at it.
And so I used odin 3.09 exe and AP'd cf-autoroot and in the middle of the download it said failed rather than pass. After that I just pressed exit and pulled the plug, now my phone is saying Firm Upgrade encountered an issue...please selyatta yatta yatta.

Hey dont take tension your phone is still alive it happened to me alao while rooting.It has simple solution just connect your phone to pc and open download mode in your phone then start odin and select that cf autoroot file and start rooting and after some minute your phone will be rooted and it will be working properly.

My Alcatel Pop 4 plus is hard bricked and i can't seem to fix it.
I tried using SP Flash Tool but when I connect the phone it appears as qhsusb_bulk driver.
I really need to fix it . Please what are your suggestions?
If anyone has the same phone (Alcatel Pop 4 plus 5056A) could you make a backup of your system and send to me so I use recovery mode to restore my phone.

I attempted to flash my SM-T970 XAR with stock firmware using Odin. It failed, and now says "An error has occurred while updating the device software". Is there any way I can recover or have I just bricked my S7+? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Try the Samsung smart switch(PC) to recovery if not you need fine the frp hijack by hagard do recovery(sofebrick)...reboot it will got you back to download mode.
Smart switch was unable to locate the device, but I tried flashing again using Odin and it worked this time! No idea why the first time failed - I did it exactly the same way.
