Uh, I didn't say that.
Please read the Root Sticky in the V30 Guides section, as those questions are answered in the sticky.
Read post #1 and #2.

There's then links to tutorial for your phone, in the Sticky. You will need to print those out and read thoroughly, please.
Any further questions can be asked in the tutorial thread, after you thoroughly read the instructions...

Hi, I posted last week about help with unlocking and rooting LG l9 and no one really replied.
I used this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173465) & it didn't work (i. e. step 2 of guide would not occur as chrome recognized the files as malware, with it stopping the download). Am I doing something wrong? I read the guide thoroughly & I don't have any pop-up blockers enabled. To sum up what I need help with: a method for unlocking & rooting T-Mobile LG l9. Sorry if this is a dumb post but I have spent a lot of time on trying to root my phone, with no success.

The reason noone responded to your previous post is simple. No one is going to hold your hand and explain everything step by step. It takes too much time. There is thread after thread of information here. Read. And then read some more. Creating duplicate threads is a no no at XDA by the way.
The link you posted is for devices that already have unlocked bootloaders. You may want to look at this thread for rooting your device. I can personally confirm that this method works for P769's with locked bootloaders. You didn't mention you devices model number but since you said TMobile I must assume P769.
As for unlocking your device, there is no definitive way or simple method to do it. If you have a ton of free time and don't mind your phone being down for periods of time while attempting to unlock, then follow any of the threads about unlocking your L9 bootloader. They are all about the same. There is no guarantee that you will be able to unlock your bootloader. You've been warned. Good luck.
Is that possible to root kitkat version of z ultra. I searched on Google but not yet found any way.
Please post questions in the Q&A section and leave the development section for development related threads. Thanks

Of course you can root the KitKat. You don't need Google you just need to visit the forums and watch out for the stickies. Its all there in details.
Hello everyone, I just got a G2 mini, and for starters I just want to unlock the bootloader, root and install recovery[on stock firmware].
Can anyone help me with some guides/links?
I haven't seen any sticky and the Development area is a little bit amalgamated,
Thanks!

Hey Guys , please i need help to ROOT / Custom Recovry my LG G3 D-852G
I try use a lot of methods but nothing works
I'm not sure why you've posted a question about the G3 in the Apps & Games of XDA, this section is reserved for those who are contributing apps. The LG G3 device section is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3
There is an FAQ/Q&A thread here:

Please search before posting in future.

Hi friends.
After several hours of searching, I'm posting my question here (bought my first LG smartphone so I don't have many references, so maybe it's simple but I can't find the solution).
I just bought an LG G8X, model number LM-G850UM. It comes with an At&T overlay. It's unlocked, no SIM issues. I would just like to remove AT&T completely. I mean, not just the bloated apps.
The point is, I'd like to be able to install ROM updates without waiting for it to go through ATT every time (I'm not even in the US). For example, take any international KDZ to downgrade, and be able to receive OTA without waiting for it to be officially available through ATT.
It's a bit confusing, I tried to explain as best I could.
I want to do the same thing. I tried with KDZ and LGUP but didn't work...
I can confirm that this method worked for my LGM850UM. Went from AT&T Android 9 to OPEN_CA Android 11.
