I wanted to ask if the mate 20 pro will get a art mode in the camera like the honor view 20. Does anyone have any Info about this
If anything it will be on the next release of EMUI
Today I noticed the honor has ai for front cam too, is it possible for us to get it too with new emui

Camera setting not working
Camera setting not working. Every time tap on camera setting, crashes the camera app. How to resolve?
I love the Honor 10 camera and camera software,
but my previous phone had the option to take pics in a wider view than the honor 10.
Sort of like panorama, but only like 100degrees in Total, not 240degrees round like panorama effect if you know what i mean.
Can the honor 10 do this as well?

No, unfortunately honor 10 doesn't have this feature.
too bad. Wideview should be standard onnecery decent phone imo.
You could try panorama and cut it off after require amount of wide view
In fact you don't have to make a full panorama view you can stop it whenever you want
There is also a way of making a picture in 18:9 format by choosing in the parameters but you have to disable the AI first
Device is p10 VTR-L29 recently i updated to emui 9 by requesting from hicare app . I noticed redesigned camera app but missing stabilizer in all video resolution ( emui 8 working fine with 1080 30 fps ) .

adjust the beauty mode to max..it makes stabilization come back(sort off).
I came from Italy and updated my Huawei Mate 10 Pro to EMUI 9.1. I can't see substantial differences between Emui 9.0 in terms of responsiveness of my device but I think this is a step-back regarding the functionality: in the "portrait" section now you can choose 3d light effects or bokeh but, once shooted the photo, it's impossible to edit as in the past and I find this unconfortable . I expected to find "Ar effect" (even though I think it's useless, but it's a "feature" also availbe on p-smart models...) and AR Measure, probably the latter it's not avaible because there isn't the TOF sensor on M10Pro .
I'm going to test my device to see if the photo quality is improved or not.
I await your feedback and review on this camera app. If you have any advice don't hesitate to comment!
