Hi guys, it seems that after the last is update my verge no longer has "hiking" under the activities list. It's still present in the app on the phone in the settings, where you can change what real time items you want to see but not on the watch itself. All the other activities still appear, it's just hiking that disappeared...
Did this happen to anyone else? I want to know if it's an actual issue before I try resetting my watch, I already rebooted but it did nothing.
Yes, it seems it had gone MIA in Verge's International firmware (probably a firmware bug/regression). I still have it on my Verge with latest Chinese firmware.
Thanks for the confirmation, at least I won't have to reset it anymore. I don't think they are removing it though as it still appears in the Amazfit settings app, most likely just a bug. Hopefully it's going to get fixed at the next update.

Hello there! I have been having a bit of a problem lately. I own a BLU Dash 5.0 simunlocked from factory. It's a double sim model, which I have two sims, since the companies are spanish, let's call them Green Sim and Blue Sim (since that's how they are color coded in my status bar). It is also running Android Jelly Bean 4.2. Here is the problem. Ever since of March 20, a Chinese app appeared on my home screen, I don't know how, something called "Mobile Video" but the content was in a foreign Asian language. I suspect of my friend since I lent it to him for 15 minutes and then it appeared. Aside of this, the wifi and the Green Sim 3G was turned on.
I clicked on the app curious of it was something my friend downloaded from me, but then the app prompted me two options, I didn't know what it said since again, it was Asian. Next, I proceeded to uninstall it, going to my apps list, I was surprised to see another mysterious app, "Push_Down", that was the name. I uninstalled both Mobile Video and Push_Down. I thought I fixed the problem. Wrong.
Next day when I woke up, I found two new apps on my homescreen, and again, the Wifi and Green Sim 3G was on.These were Chinese also. I uninstalled them both and found once again "Push_Down" in my apps. After I uninstalled them, I thought the problem was finally fixed. Wrong again. Since this event, about every 2 or 3 hours, my Wifi and Green Sim 3G turn on automatically, but haven't downloaded anything new, one, because I have no credit left, and two, I have no internet at home. Ever since, daily I wake up, the same problem, the Wifi and 3G are on. I checked my SD Card, I checked my Phone Storage, both with 2 Antivirus (Avast!, and Lookout Mobile) and with Addons Detector. Surprisingly, nothing has appeared.
My last option is what hurts me most, to reset my phone, which I don't want to do since I have lots of apps installed, progress made with certain games and etc, etc. Also, I am not a root user, so I haven't rooted and won't root my phone.
Now, can anyone please help me? I am very annoyed at this happening everyday!
same problem...cheinese apps keep reinstalling
I too have had this problem for a few weeks now. Got a Chinese smartphone for Christmas (ok i know thats the first mistake, but it was worth a try for the money). mfaction royale mp720 (mpie comes up on the startup screen). Anyway i realised there where a few Chinese apps that came with it (pinyin and a app with a orange icon with a squirrel logo on it) so i unistalled these without problem. One chinese app i couldn't uninstall so i disabled it in the app settings
Everything had been working fine without problem and had been very happy with the phone until a week or so ago. started getting the apps described above installing. These include 'push_down' 'push_collect' 'filegogo' 'mobile video' and some others with chinese writing on them. I also get my phone setting itself to mute when these apps reappear. Keep uninstalling them but they keep coming back. Have tried AVG and Antimalware but they only flag things up as they install themselves, not the thing thats doing the installing. I thought that google account might be a problem so changed password and reset my phone to factory default. As a test i didn't connect back to google account. No joy. Although some apps have not reappeared some have and this morning a new one so i don't think its google account.
I did read some Chinese phones can have the malware embedded into the firmware but it's been fine for months. Perhaps there is a delay so your not likely to send the phone back then the malware begins. If this is the case then the only way round would be to root the phone then find the app or apps that are doing this. Not sure if it's easy to root one of these phones.
Anyone else had these symptoms after a full factory reset?. Anyone been able to sort it out? Anyone know of a guide to root his phone?
Hmmmmm....

Actually, as much as my experience from rooting, I haven't done it once again after a bad event I had, like almost bricking an old phone I had which for my good luck there was a way to restore it Ever since, I won't root anymore unless there exists a ROM backup by the manufacturer. But still, I don't know what's causing this. My phone has been fine since stock, I have more than 2 months with it! The problem started since last Thursday, which is why I suspect it's an app I downloaded or ad I clicked on. Any ideas?
(Also, thanks for your reply )
As the topic says, the watch won't show any google cards. It just happened out of the blue. It used to show cards like weather and so on but all of a sudden i stopped. Notifications overall works like a charm, it's just the cards. On my phone (N6P) the cards are fully functional and enabled. Everything is up to date.
What i've tried:
- Unpair the watch (also a factory reset)
- Disable and enable cards on the phone
- Re-installed Android Wear
The thing is also that if I press the Google app on the watch, it shows weather, it does not prompt for enabling Google Now on the phone. I'm so confused. I re-installed everything last night.
same problem here
Nexus 6P (newest Chroma ROM) and Huawei Watch Classic
Same for me.
Newest Google Search App (5.11.31.19) doesnt seem to help either.
OnePlus One (CM13 nightlies) + Moto 360v2
I've had contact with Motorola via e-mail and what they have recommended so far is to unpair the watch, remove Google account from phone, remove android wear, add the account again, install android wear and re-pair the watch.
Did not work for me. Waiting for further advice.
Same here.

Glad it's not just me. Hope they fix it soon.
I somehow had it working again for the last few days (dont know what made it work). But today when I woke up in the morning the watch wasn't showing the Google now card again! (Again I don't know what changed :/ )
This bug is appearing really weirdly. Hope it gets fixed soon
Mine just started working again randomly yesterday. Not sure what triggered it. Maybe an app update.
I start to believe it's intentional, the cards will show up if there is anything apart(!) from weather (in my case upcoming football matches), and it will never directly show the weather, but say something like "1 more from Google" (dunno about the english term it uses). If your only card is the weather one, it won't be there.
I am having the same issue with my watch as well. I just reset the watch and deleted the android wear app and deleted all settings and reset the phone and watch up. Still not working.
After a 30 minute phone call to Moto tech support I was told that the issue is a defective watch and they offered to send me out a replacement watch. I told them I would thank about and get back to them. I am pretty sure it is not a watch hardware issue but a software issue.
Hey guys I have a weird problem with my Amazfit Stratos. So everything was working fine last night, but today I discover that I am not getting notifications from my phone (iPhone 6) to the watch. I run the "test notification" option in the app, and they show, but real notification don't... so I restarted the device (the watch) and when it booted up i discover that I don't have the activities and sport screens on the left of the main screen and also the watchface shows only when the watch is "locked" (otherwise it is just.. black). I also see some strange stuff on my last screen (see attachments). The first one opens "sports", the second "Activities" and the last one - "Daily Overview".
Any idea what is going on? It looks like something is not loading properly, but I have no idea what to do. I am using the original firmware.
PS: The good news is that notifications work now.
1. If you are using an APK watchface, probably it's not the right version for your firmware, uninstall and restart watch.
2. Go to Amazfit app settings, widgets and enable/disable one of them, if they do not re-arrange you may need to unpair, logout from Amazfit, login and pair watch again. Unparing erases all data on watch.
I did a factory reset and everything is ok now.
PS: I was using one of the stock watchafaces.
I decided to change the watch face for the first time in quite some time today and....nothing! When I to to watch face settings the screen is blank with no options for either local or online watch faces, just a very faint lighthouse logo with 4 Chinese characters beneath it on the Online section.
My phone is running Nougat and the app was updated to the latest version. The bip has undergone its updates. The only thing that has changed is my location, I'm currently in South Africa, but I cant see that being an issue, or am I missing something?
I tried unistalling the app but it hasnt changed anything. What do you guys suggest?
Exact same problem here. Sony Xperia XZs and Android Oreo 8.0.
EDIT: For a fraction of a second, just before the chinese characters show up, it says "Couldn't get data" or something similar.
Just use the GadgetBridge method, this still works.

It suddenly started working by itself. I did nothing.
This is very strange, since we have two Bip watches on two different phones and the other one was always working just fine.
Hello. I have a problem with Amazfit Verge Lite. After switching on the training, it restarts every few minutes and the training disappears. I have the latest soft. Do you have the same problem? Maybe someone managed to fix it?
And the 2nd topic: maybe someone heard about the software in Polish ??
Greetings.

No one use this watch ? Please help
Reset it once.. Mine is working fine
Have you found a solution for the restarts problem? I'm having the same issue. Firmware 1.3.4.20
Found work around
I just receive my Verge Lite last week! After installed Mi Fit and synced it, the Mi Fit automatically updated it to 1.3.4.20 before I start to use it.
So after that, i started to use it... Having the same issue as you... it just shut off alone in the middle of the exercise section, loosing all data.
After some google, including this forum. I found that the firmware version 1.3.2.00 works great. After some time looking for this file I found it and installed in my verge lite using "Notify for Amazfit" app, unistalled Mi Fit (it automatically updates the watch to 1.3.4.20, with no option to skip) and having my Verge Lite working as it should be since that, with the "Notify for Amazfit" app.
Try turning off Auto brightness while doing workout. This might help.
