Hi am facing the same issue here with Mate 20, even after factory reset, this still persist! Maybe you might have better luck after factory reset!

So I read a few posts on bad battery life.... but I really had no complaints, I even took a screen shot or 2 of me making it over 24 hours, they way I use my phone. Very typical for me and my usage....
But then kies kept bugging about a firmware update, so I did it.... and not, I am barely getting over 10 hours out of my phone... having slept most of that!?
This is the second charge now, it seems the life is cut in half... with no increase in usage or any new apps added. Is this possible from a firmware upgrade and can I go back to the old firmware?
thanks in advance.... I did do a quick search, hopefully it is not a repost
Most people with this issue are being told to do a factory reset and see what happens. Im pretty sure it solves the problem.
anyone with firmware XWKE2 done factory reset? And did it help the battery?

weird, but like I always tell women.... I will try anything once
since I am at 100% right now, I will do it and report back. thanks
I assume you just go into privacy and do the factory reset that way?
A multitude of battery posts all say after a flash your battery drains then settles down with use .

A factory reset made no difference for me unfortunately.
12 hours in and I am still at 41%... so it made some at least!

Hi guys,
I have been using Honor 7 for more than a month now but last week, I got some random update and after that I have noticed that Google Play Services is top killer of the phone's battery. I tried everything, right from uninstalling updates and updating again, side loading the play services apk till factory reset. Nothing is working.
Previously, I use to get 18-19 hours of time on my phone but now it has reduced drastically to around 8-10 hours.
Can you please suggest what can be done in this case?
Thanks,
Apa
That's happen to me as well i tried to stop sync. and other small tip but nothing really change.
I noticed also that the device doesn't go in deep sleep. I hope someone can help us.
I have had terrible battery life, until recently...
Then I cleared Google play service cache, rebooted the phone, now I get up to 3 days since doing this, this worked on my phone and my wife's phone (both Honor 7)
Try it and report back, don't forget to reboot the phone.

Thanks a lot man.
With this trick my Honor 7 (with MM beta) is going back to deepsleep again.
I had the same problem once, and cache clearing helped me, but this time no.
my phone now literally never goes to sleep because of play services. does somebody else has or had the same problem, and maybe the solution...? tnx

I am having a problem with battery drain for last few days. It goes down for more than 30% over night on standby. The thing i found different was that "cell standby" was always 1%< and now it goes up over 50%. Can anyone provide a solution that i could try using to fix this, or if anyone has any idea?
I have attached ss.

No solution for now.
I tried factory reset, that did not help.
Tried to turn off mobile data during the night, didn't help.
Tried to change network to 3G, didn't help.
I am wondering if it has something to do with Android 10.0, but, it did not start when i updated, it started later. Don't know when will update to 10.1 come, but for now as more people get this problem i am hoping that a solution will pop out.
Hi yaxor,

Please try and hope it will help you =)

Thanks for advice,
but didn't do much for me. Still having the same problem. Maybe new update 10.1 will fix it, but not much info when to expect it.
