Now that the 2.6.502.16 OTA (Android 5.1) is rolling out and the RUU is available, it probably would be helpful to list/keep track of known issues.
I think there's enough evidence to start off with:
KNOWN ISSUES
* Motion Launch gestures not working after RUU, or after OTA + Factory Data Reset: This appears to be a bug since one gesture (double-tap to sleep) does work at the Lock screen
The HTC Motion Launch update, 2.1.588853, dated Aug 21, 2015 DOES fix the issue. You may have to search and install it manually, as it may not show up automatically as an available update in the Google Play Store.
After installing the update, the double-tap to sleep gesture still only works at the Lock screen (same as in the previous Android 5.0 release).
* The Stagefright vulnerability is present, specifically CVE-2015-3824, CVE-2015-3827, CVE-2015-3829, and CVE-2015-3864.
The inoperable Motion Launch gestures definitely seems to be a bug, as @jollywhitefoot was able to determine a fix. (Requires root)

The new HTC Service Pack update in play store should fix this issue for real.
Edit. I just confirmed what chp posted below. The update didn't fix the issue for me either.

HTC Service Pack 1.02.581197, dated Jul 23, 2015 does not seem to fix the issue.

Can someone post a link on where to download the 2.6.502.16 baseband to flash? Thanks
Also, do I need to use Sunshine to flash the firmware?
I have the notification to update [Test] M1D65H to M1D65N this morning and don't see mention here. I am holding off installing it for the moment. Anyone know anything about it?
I've tried to take a screenshot to show it but that's been coming up black...
I have the same update, but the [Test] part seems a bit scary since it's out of warranty.
Have you already updated it?

I have also received this notification on my watch. I'm a little wary of the '[Test]' part too - don't recall seeing this on previous updates.
I think I'll probably delay the update until we get some more information.
I had the same this morning. Just did the update. After Wear rebuilt the cache I went to Settings and now this is the version:
Wear 1.5.0.3853039
Android OS 6.0.1
Security level April 1, 2017
So it just looked like a monthly security update I think
I had exactly the same message this morning and it is still sitting on my watch for actioning....the [TEST] made me aphrensive
Thanks farris for being the guinea pig. based on this I shall go ahead and update from 1st Feb security level release to this 1st April release.

Thanks! I'll install it as well. Lets see what will happen
edit:
It's still working!
Wish it was Android 2.0...
I had the same Test labeled Update today popping Up, just Hit Install. Worked.
Good to See updates, had hoped for android2 too
Thanks for the feedback everyone. After posting that, I had a busy day and never got to revisit the matter. I may wait a little longer.
Any improvements? My watch can get unusably sluggish at times. Removing unnecessary apps and factory resetting did nothing.
Is the option " change watchface" under settings new? I don't remember this one
I haven't updated and have change watch face, second setting option below adjust brightness.
april security update
I have just updated my G Watch and everything seems to work fine (just like it did before).
A question for those on the latest (end of March) Android Wear app: did you experience occasional notifications sync problems (especially when replying from the watch) and (above all) frequent force closes of the Android Wear app (on the phone)? If yes, has this update fixed those problems?
I am asking because due to those annoying problems I went back to the Android Wear app version from February so I would like to avoid updating and going back to the latest Android Wear app (the most recent one is still the troublesome one from the end of March) only to see again the same problems and having to go again through the downgrade process (uninstall Android Wear, install the version from February, re-set everything up).

After a few months, I finally noticed what the [TEST] tag were for. It was released on April fools day(april 1st), carry the code M1D65N, "N" as in nougat, or android wear 2.0. Read it as, [TEST] Nougat build. Someone tried to make an april fools prank and it didn't work.. ROFL.
The first letter signifies the Android version, not the last...

I got my 360 sport yesterday. It had the december 2016 security patch OS version (it is second hand), so I updated it, but the most recent update is from april 2017 (AW 2.7.0.1786..), now it says it is up to date and it is not receiving more OTAs
Apart from that, I was using the watch with the AW 1.5 for some hours before updating to 2.0, and I realized that AW 2.0 seems to have worsen the device:
There is no longer gestures (only one of them is still there, but it is working worse than before), google assistant voice is slower now, and also you miss the swipe to the right to get to app box, now you are forced to press the physical button. Is this feeling for you as well?
T-mobile is rolling your the July Security patch just received it.

If Samsung decides to bring any of those functions to the Note 8, you won't see it until we get Android Pie. They don't do function changes between Android builds.
It may be just a coincidence, but this release seems buggy as hell. Recent apps panel closes instead of opening the new app, Bluetooth music plays as part of phone conversations and jumps when trying to resume music from phone sounds. I've to re-link it to my car 3 different times just to get it to connect. I'm off to download the previous version. Hopefully, that will help.
Hello, I just received an update notification of December security patch but its size is 458mb so compared to common security patches it is huge... Anyone here already installed it? It is safe?
UPDATE: I've installed it and it didn't brick my phone, now i'm gonna test it and check if it fixed bugs or added new ones...
Thank you to share! This huge update appeared for my just yesterday on Dec. 27 and when I saw the size I went crazy, man!
.
So, if you did not have problem, then I will risk to update-it as well =)
Guys I did this 400MB+ December update and just today that I notice that using the camera on Pro Mode, the shotter release lost (again) several options for long exposure photos!!!
.
Does anyone here could, please, confirm if the same fault of option on Shotter Release on Pro Mode Câmera happen?! =\

I tested camera pro mode and it works fine... I can set up to 32 secs shutter speed and no problem.
@XJeFX , thank you for your reply message! I had gave-up of this bug; but, it happened that I needed to restart my smart and suddenly the configurations on Pro Mode returned to its normal.
