What's your build number in Settings - About?
If it's low enough you might be able to use DC Unlocker to get an unlock code ($4)
The other one I find is Global Unlocking Solution, it costs $22 to get an unlock code. This one is for phones where DC method was patched (Security date later than May 2018, depending on cust)

Price is kinda high. I tried using the DC Unlocker app but couldn't find the M10Pro on the list.
I'm currently on EMUI 9.1.0.300 version.

Last it worked was 8.0.0.142 (for C432), but you can only downgrade to 8.0.0.146 due to updated bootloader. :/
Well, you can do this but the price is about the same and you remove warranty completely and potentially risk breaking the glass back of your phone:
Open back of phone using a hairdryer, opening tool and suction cup.
Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove protection.
Short testpoint to shield and flash bootloader using DC Phoenix.
Flash board firmware using DC Phoenix.
Boot to board firmware.
Use HCU to get unlock code.
Repair IMEIs and everything using HCU.
Flash back 8.0.0.146 or higher using service firmware.

Possibly with HCU-client. Depends on if your firmware is patched or not.
Only way to find out is to use HCU... It cost $4 for bootloader code.

DC-unlocker works if you're on BLA-xxx C432 B142 or lower
i'm on 8.0.0.132(C782) C782 is a different region code
all mate 10 pro's purchased unlocked from carphone warehouse in the uk have this region code
the main region code for unlocked phones in europe is c432(as far as i can tell)

Are you using HCU-client?
DC-unlocker doesn't work afaik. HCU-client is made by DC.
When firmware is patched HCU just says Unsupported model/chip

If it's on B142 yes, if B145 you can downgrade to B142. If B146+ you can't do anything because of updated bootloader that prevents downgrade to B145 or lower.
This assumes the shop hasn't updated it of course.

That I don't know. You can see if you find your firmware on androidhost.ru as that's where you find DLOAD firmware.
My reply was to zzcool.
hi guys I have the unlock code, someone could tell me how to do the phone debrand? thank you
@Pretoriano80 @ante0
I did the rebrand of my Mate ALP-L29C636 for the L00C00 version. Due to some problems I had with the Chinese ROM I want to do the debrand. The bootloader is unlocked and I have the original oeminfo file. As I am in the latest version of EMUI 8.1 (xloader 02), do you think it is possible to do debrand using HWOTA? I appreciate if you can help me.

If you're on a "new bootloader" firmware downgrade to a DC-compatible fw is not possible.

Change-vendor files for Honor 10?

Hello, i want to change my phone's vendor(country) from china to middle east, where can i get the update.app file which does it for me?(if it still works like that, i remmember that i installed an update.app file a while back on my honor 6 that changed it's country info from normal to meaf, does honor 10 even work the same way?)
to be more specific i want to change my phone's firmware from china(COL-AL10) to middle east(COL-L29) i know that there is a guide here which shows that but i was wondering if having the vendor file makes the rom changing easier or not

Unless your bootloader is unlocked you can do nothing. Else you can try with service center or funkyhuawei which is paid service.

Is it still possible to unlock the bootloader?

I just received a replacement STF-AL10 honor9 and have been looking at the paid services for unlocking the bootloader. Both FunkyHuawei and dc-unlocker state that the bootloader unlocking service is not available. I was never clear what they did to get the unlock code except that there was a website or database that you have to access. I'm wondering if that site has been shutdown. Regardless, are there any paid services that are still functioning?
Thanks.

Easy way, wait for third party seller to reopen the service.
Hard way, open device, use testpoint, use paying software DC-Phoenix with STF BoardSoftware and Do Not erase or flashover your oeminfo.
Then read bootloader's code in BoardSoftware firmware.
Then unlock and update.
It's too bad to open a brand new device... Thks huawei for not providing BL code.
It's told huawei India and or Russia may give it to you...

That's fine. It seems right now that none of the paid services are working. I don't know what they do behind the scene, but it seems like the database/web page they use is inaccessible right now.

They have an interesting message on their web site:
WE ARE TESTING THE HUAWEI BOOTLOADER CODES NOW: AFTER TEST RESULTS ORDERS WILL BE PROCEED
Sounds like they're having issues retrieving the unlock codes.
Looks like the bootloader unlock service offered by FunkyHuawei might be back up:
https://funkyshop.club/unlockcodes
This is a new page that I haven't seen before and it's significantly more expensive ($127 USD). I've sent an email to their support to see what the actual status is.

127 USD... Not worth, it would be worth on something expensive like the Huawei Mate line... For this price you are better off selling the h9 and getting something developer friendly. If you insist on using custom ROMs just stay away from Huawei/Honor.
