Hello all,
Like seemingly many others, my io edtion galaxy tab 10.1 is blocked in a boot loop. I've read about some methods allowing to reset the tablet thanks to adb and or fastboot.
But my problem is that in whatever state my tablet is, adb and fastboot never seem to be able to detect it, so I can't use them to wipe it and I don't see an other so I can't repair my tablet.
My question is : has anyone been able to make a boolooping tablet detectable by android dev tools ?
Alternatively, has anyone been able to get in touch with samsung support on that issue ? Are io edition tablets under warranty ? I haven't seen any reports related to that.
Thanks in advance for your answers, it is my last chance attempt to make that tablet work again.
Are you able to enter Download Mode? If so, you should be able to communicate with your tablet using Odin.
Go to the link in my signature and read Sections IV and VI.
If someone else can point you to the correct .tar file for your device (do not use the one T-Mobile one), you can just follow directions in Section VI to restore your tablet.
Regarding warranty, if you have messed around with your device's firmware, it should be void. Try to solve the issue yourself.

The issue here is having the right driver. Assuming you imstalled the amdroid ask, run sdk mamager tick 3rd party then usb drivers and let the sdk manager install the drivers. Thwm go to your pc control panel and check for android or samsung device (going by memory here) if there is an exclamation mark, right click and selwct update driver then 'let me choose' then find android device among the listed. Click that and try odin

Thanks a lot for those answers, I have finally been able to restore my tablet using this method found on rootzwiki / topic 2525 guide wifi flashing stock bootloader to io tab (sorry but i can't post links on xda)
Sadly, it also installed samsung's touchwiz but that is nothing that a custom rom can't fix .
Hello, I'm new to this thread thingy, but I'm tired of looking through the internet for a way to root my Honor 8 lite 2017.I've been looking for a way to root it for several months now, but no luck. I've found a couple threads on other websites, but I always end up with a problem when it comes to flashing the .img . I always go through this "Waiting recovery Failed: remote command not allowed" Error. Its been bugging me too much.
One more thing, the ADB can't find my device when I type "fastboot devices"
I'm posting this in a hope to find a solution.
Thank you.

Ok so like, I tried everything from here "https://forum.xda-developers.com/8-lite" But I'm stuck at the fastboot devices. It doesn't seem to read my device so I'm having trouble with that still. And the same goes for the "Waiting recovery Failed: remote command not allowed" Error. I don't know what else to do. I tried using the word boot instead of recovery but no dice.

On April,2018, I have updated my NOKIA 3 to Android 8.0.0 from Android 7.0. In between I didn't got any 7.1.1 update. Few days ago, I found a 7.1.1 ROM for NOKIA 3 & I downloaded it & tried to install the update from SD card in Recovery mode. My NOKIA 3 aborted the update & I tried the same for 3 times. After this, everything blew away leaving the Recovery mode & I was only able to go to the Fastboot mode. When I used to power it up, it directly used to go to the Recovery menu showing (alps/NE1_00W_FIH/NE1 7.1.1/NMF260/00WW_2_15A user/release_keys Use volume up/down & power key).
I tried OST LA with NE1-215H-0-00WW-B02.nb0 & NE1-215H-0-00WW-B02.nb0 files but OST LA handed me with a pop-up message showing some problems with JIT(Just In Time) Debugging. I continued, but OST LA got stucked on "loading system images" or "rebooting bootloader". I continued this for 3-4 days bit this didn't worked for me.
Then I decided to flash my Mediatek device with Smart Phone Flash Tool & flashed it with a ROM found on internet named "Nokia_TA1032_MT6737M_12042017_7.0" & after flashing it started only vibrating each 3-4 seconds when I tried to switch it up & when charger is connected. while connected with computer, Device manager showed that Mediatek Preloader is working but there was no light, no display in my NOKIA 3. It was only a black screen with vibration each 3-4 seconds. this also didn't worked for me.
I unpacked the nb0 file NE1-215H-0-00WW-B02.nb0. There was a ik_service.zip , which I couldn't unzip as it is secured with a password. Whithout ik_service, I went to flash it with SP Flash Tool. I tried to flash it unticking the Preloader, but SP Flash Tool was unable to flash it without the Preloader, so I flashed it ticking the Preloader. The flashing process was successful, & completed upto 100%. After that, my NOKIA 3 is completely dead. There is no viblation also. Connecting to the computer only shows mtk usb port is working, but not the preloader. And now I am unable to flash it again.
I think, the Preloader is deleted parmanently. Computer makes sound on connecting the NOKIA 3 and Device manager shows only Mediatek usb port is working. Is there any way to get it back? Can I flash it with the Preloader again? Or is it impossible to flash a device without Preloader? Is my NOKIA 3 completely Hard Bricked?

Thank you very much Sir.
So my company sent me a VR headset for development. I tried to update it, but upon doing so, it produced an error and bricked the VR headset. The customer support isn't helping at all, so I'm thinking of just flashing it myself (I'm new to this,).
I tried doing a factory reset, but it only showed me "No command" and reboots again. It has no SD card, and ADB can't recognize the device. The bootloader says it's locked, so I'm pretty sure it's almost impossible for me to crack it. The OS is available on the website, but again, it's almost impossible for me to replace the OS without the SD card and having it recognized by ADB.
If it's not possible to flash it, is there anything interesting I could do with it?

they really dont exist because of what pico is using they are using old nexus 5 drivers for the pico recovery. and that is terrible. the best thing to do is download and install ubuntu on a spare pc. once its on the spare pc you will need to setup adb there. ince you have adb there you can run the normal adb sideload in recovery.
fyi you have 2 different kinds of headsets this is why it may or maynot fail at recovery.
pico has oem and non oem firmware and lucky we have access to this on the pico 3 website where the downloads are. the pico 3 pro on there is non oem firmware and the pico 3 link is oem firmware.
the best thing to do after this or if you need more help find my you tu be channel and contact me there i hardly check xda
What a crazy few days it's been.
This phone is really locked down hard by vodaphone.
I need to root it in order to install the full NetHunter suite. Some features are not available if the phone is not rooted. ie adding another wifi adapter that supports packet injection and monitor mode.
So my 1st move was Frija, and odin. This nearly bricked my device. Got it restored and went with the magisk route.
This is kind of where I'm stuck. fastboot. I did adb reboot-bootloader and it just sits on this green text that says...

Fastboot commands does not work. Obviously.
My 1st mission is to fastboot oem unlock.
So I've read a few devices has fastboot disabled by the providers. ie vodaphone, or even samsung?
I've tried my google foo but found nothing of value for these parameters. note 10 lite, android 12, vodaphone.
What should my next angle be?

Solved the fastboot portion. But it would seem this phone is unrootable.
Bootloader is unlocked.
But no TWRP available:
Twrp For Note 10 lite
any updates ?

Hello, I have successfully rooted a Samsung tablet without TWRP. After unlocking the bootloader, you need to use Frija to download the firmware file, and then you need to extract it. After that, you can send the AP partition file to your phone over adb, patch it in the Magisk app, and pull it back to your computer. From there you need to flash it in Odin, and do a factory reset from recovery mode. (When downloading the firmware file choose the correct model, software version, and CSC.) I can send a short video proof of the rooted tablet later when I get home from school)

So what you need to do is:
Install some drivers
Build an edl cable with an old USB cable to force it into edl without test point
And then download stock firmware and flash it in qfil

We can close this thread. I've come to the conclusion that the Note 10 Lite is a terrible platform to try and root. Virtually zero roms out there. Bricked it 3 times already.
Going to sell it, and try and get my hands on something like an old netbook
