Hello!
I have Conquest S8 (chinese) phone 2 years ago. (5.1, 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM) (Free ~1GB RAM, ~6GB ROM)
The problem: last 2-3 week starting all apps delayed only.
After started app...
The CPU monitor graphical line in upper screen working, LED notification blinking normal, display on/off run normal.
The statusbar freezing (clock stopped and all other info still), touch not response., home button not response.
Wait ~30-50 sec, and app started, statusbar working correctly and pressed button (home) working (displayed home after delay time ending).
Cleared cache partition, cleared dalvik cache, e2fsck verifycation runned in system, data, SD, no error.
The phone not slow down, only newly started app delayed.
Changed launcher: Apex, Nova and original Launcher3. Same error.
Buildprop not modified in last 2-3 months.
Reset (factory) not option, more settings lost.
SystemUI problem? (Not modified.)
What is a problem? How to fix?
---------------------------------------------------------
And one other problem:
The System UI automatically restarted 2-3 days in sleep mode (display off, wifi on, GSM on).
Webradio recorder runned in night, not touched phone, ~6:00AM recording stopped, killed all other running apps and restarted only boot receiver apps (viber, skype, etc.).
Not run recorder, not known reboot time. Not full (system) restart, only systemui (~5-10 sec.).
The systemui manual restart (kill in task manager) = apps say: no root permission
The systemui random restart (in sleep mode) = root permission remain ok.
What is the reason?
After used ~7-10 day without full restart, all apps freezing, slow down, call accept icon displayed more than 10 sec after ringing started.

Hey guys,
I got an SGS2 a couple of weeks ago, and it has just started giving problems...
I have done no Kernel modifications / CustomROM installation...
1> Gallery takes time to load and is jerky after it loads
2> Angry Birds stops randomly and goes into a boot loop [Rovio Screen -> Angry Birds splash image -> Rovio Screen]
3> Lag on pressing power button to turn on the screen... about half a second or so [this has always been happening]
4> On disconnecting a call sometimes it goes back to dialler, sometimes it goes back to the Lock Screen. [even if i opened the Dialler to make the call]
5> Some Applications installed from the Market don't show up in my app drawer, but i can start them up from the "Downloaded Apps" section in the Market.[This has happened with 5 - 6 applications.]
6> Sometimes even after getting a "Installation Successful" message the app doesn't show up in the Market or the App drawer. [This has happened with 4 - 5 applications.]
7> Sometimes after uninstalling an Application, it still shows up in my App Drawer, but says unable to start application when i click on it.
I presume [hoping] these are just bugs in the OS rather than Hardware problems...
I have 3 launchers: TouchWiz [I Never use this], AWDLauncherEX [Used to use this], LauncherPro Free [Testing this out]
I play Gun Bros on my phone quite often... i have no Issues with it.
I installed TheftAware on my system and enabled it. The trial period ran out [Thought it was free ] so i uninstalled it.
Any ideas guys?
Since the above mentioned glitches are fairly minor, i'm waiting for a good CustomROM based on KE8 to be released before i factory reset my Phone.

No
Try factory reset first followed by a return under warranty is what i would do.
KE8 is now old KF1 KF4 .

[Q] Phone get stuck with screen locked. Rebooting starts an endless "startloop"
Hi, I have this Galaxy S3 i9300, with Wanam ROM and Boeffla-Kernel 2.12.
Sometimes, when I lock the screen, it just freezes in there. I'm unable to wake it up, and the LED keeps flashing the last notification.
Most of the time, I get notice of it when I receive a notification (it rings) and the phone cannot wake up. Calling and trying to trigger another notification does not wield any results.
The weird part is this: When I restart it, the OS starts as it should, but it "skips" the lockscreen (when I restart my phone, first thing I'm presented is the pattern lockscreen, all Android default), and it goes directly to the home screen. The touch screen is unresponsive (but it does vibrate when I press any of the two bottom buttons), but phone is still alive (few animations plays smoothly).
Then it restarts. The startup LED (fading blue to bright blue) doesn't turn off (normally it would turn off even before the lockscreen is presented).
Disabling the lockscreen wouldn't solve the problem, nor does starting on "safe mode". Same issue.
Booting into CWM and wiping data/cache folders solves it, but resets my phone. Restoring a backup (data folder only) also works.
Funny fact is that even with a fresh backup (which works), it might just hang up like before (although I didn't modify/install anything).
Logging files should give me some info, but I don't know how to retrieve them, let alone on this condition.
The only step I did so far to try to solve it was to disable a notification program (Logical, it seems to hang up when I receive a notification, and as a wipe to the data folder solves it, I presume it's an rogue app. But never, ever I had a problem with this app, but who knows if on an update, it's crashing my phone)
Does anyone have any information regarding to this? I've never seen something like that.
How do I recover my logfiles during an emergency?
-----------
Had another lock-up. No notifications received and the notification app was disabled. How do I get the log file?

if i go into almost any app i have to reboot to get them back, also for some reason now getting an "android is updating" on every bootup.
fine all day, rebooted and now it's gone nuts!
hmm, ok.
i had installed some youtube things last night and replaced the original - reboot - same.
unchecked some xposted mod for blocking ads - same after reboot.
unchecked all xposed mods and now fine?
weird, the rest have been up and running for a week at least

menus back but it's freezing and rebooting itself. nice
I have used MIUI 7 and 8 and CM13 ROMs. In all of this I have a major issue - after locking screen by pushing power button, mobile data working normal - I have notification, can search my device in android device manager, etc. But 5 minutes after - mobile data have stucked, but 3G icon is present. No notifications, no location. If I have pushed power button to have a lockscreen - all notifications and location got working immediately.
I have trying flash custom kernels, several radios from different versions of MIUI - no luck.
BTW, incoming phone calls working normally.
