When I open a photo in Google Photo, the photo color will become weird
It's a bug, there is already a thread about it https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-1/help/photos-getting-cleaned-corrected-t3957739

Hi. I needed to make a photo of a document a few days ago with my phone and then read it. Strangely, I was not able to read a single word because when I zoomed in the photo was blurred. And the font was not small at all. The big surprise came up when I transfered the photo to my computer, and discovered that the text could be read without a problem. So I'm guessing this is a problem of the android built-in gallery?
the gallery does not zoom in to the actual image size. so when you zoom in the photo will be blurred. try viewing the image with a different image viewer. I dont know of any though.
Anyone notice that photo clarity is poor when scrolling through albums? Most of the photos I have imported were taken on a 12 mp camera and would traditionally sharpen automatically when i scrolled to a new picture. Would take a second but the pic would sharpen considerably.
Since the updrade to TW my pictures no longer sharpen automatically. If I resize a photo (pinch and then unpinch) the photo will then sharpen..
Basically, if I want a sharp photo I need to manually force to sharpen.
---- just spoke to samsung rep, acknowledged issue but offered no solution. No auto enhancement with TW. Very disappointing.
I see the gallery lets me switch between the close-up and wide view shots, for photos shot using live Focus. Is there a way to save both versions easily? All I see is an option called save as a new file but who wants to do that for every live Focus photo you take?
In my old phone I would have Google photos backup all my photos and then use the free up space option in Google photos to delete.
I have kids and take lots of photos and need a easy way to save both the close up and wide shots. Thanks!!
Bump
Hi, additionnal question , i though it was one single file with the 2 modes saved in it , but when looking at the exif infos with acdsee i didnt find any info about wide/close picture neither how to watch them like in the S9+ gallery are they saved in two separate files on my s9+' sdcard ?
I can see the histogram when I view the picture in the gallery by clicking on the information circle, but how can I see it while taking the pictures from inside the camera app?
I don't particularly need it, since I don't know how to use a histogram but that's why I want to see it, so I can learn how it works
It's not in the camera app. It's in the gallery. Open your picture and press the little i icon to bring up the information.
It won't tell you how it works but there's google and youtube for that.
I know it's in the gallery app, I had mentioned it.
I wanted it in the camera app so I could see it in real time, before shooting the picture. So I could "see" what it looks like before taking the photos. And maybe see if there is a pattern to what I like seeing vs how the histograms look
Hello, today after receiving a picture from Telegram as a file (not as a picture), when I did pinch to zoom in Samsung Gallery I saw the image was blurry but if I opened it in Photoshop express, Piktures or Google Photos, the image was fine, the blurry image was seen too with F-Stop Gallery, if F-Stop is using the same engine as Samsung Gallery, probably we have another bug...
