You didn't ask anything, just stated facts about your device with august patch, I just said I read what you typed, and will be carefull , I understand what you said, thanks for info.
Did I misunderstood something, does you asked something ? Then can't see that..
not show battery 100% when screen unlocked in near the battery percent when i selected. in lockscreen shows100%. when goes to 99 shows when unlocked screen. but when reach to 100 ots gone and just battery icon not with percent 100%. when i choose battery percent in battery icon it shows 100 when charged and when i had 100 but when i choose near battery icon percent it doesnt shows when i had 100%
when was 100% i dont see when i unlocked device , not shows percent near battery, but on lockscreen show, when was 99 shows on unlocked screen, when i changed to show in battery icon shows 100 but when was 100% and i set near battery icon percent its gone, my phone reach full charge.

When I first got my x7501 it came equipped with WM6. When I was tinkering with it, the battery life bar gave me the exact percentage like 87% for example. After a hard reset, the battery life bar only gives me the percentage in increments of 10. It will say 90% for the longest time, then it'll all of a sudden drop to 80%. I'm wondering if I did anything by accident to make it function in increments of 10 instead of 1.

Mine has always been in increment of 10%. I don't recall ever seen it in exact percentage before.
same for me i only get it in 10% to
hmmm... maybe it was all in my mind.
Another vote for increments of 10 here. It would be nice if it was single digits, though...
same here increments of 10, any fix yet? should we buy a new battery?
its like that default, you can even keep an eye on the factory battery meter...theres no fix yet
The real problem is that the % remaining is only a rought SW evaluation of the battery power remaining.
10% step I think is the MAXIMUM to have something reliable IMHO...
1% steps? Unreliable I believe...
So I know that the battery goes by 10% increments so at 60% I have anywhere between 60 and 69.
What happens when it reads 15%? Then 10%? Does it switch to 5% increments
I am using circle battery widget, which doesnt go by 10 increments. Currently it is showing 8%.
Going to the battery manager shows 10%
hmm really? The Battery meter thread just closed because they said it was hardware the limited it to 10% increments, maybe I just misunderstood. I do that often.
yea, I saw that too. The thread was locked so I couldnt reply. I think jug6ernaut even said that the widgets also read by 10%. Maybe someone should try the circle battery widget, see if its the same results im getting.
Maybe I misunderstood that thread also
Currently the widget is displaying 4%, battery manager says 5%
I think what you are seeing is similar to other Moto phones. I have a Moto Defy and this is a thread that's going on over in the Defy forums about the battery %.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=950888
If hardware is limited to 10%, how come circle battery widget can read it in 1% increments. It seems that 100% actually means 95-100, and 90% actually means 85-95

Hi
I am contacting you as the last hope to have something worked on for my streak regarding the extended battery not getting detected. I have tried all the calibration apps but still no luck.
i have recently purchased this battery and there are issue i am facing regarding the battery mostly regarding the reporting. its the android 2.2 operating system that is the issue, with the 1.6 android it is working perfectly fine as i have tried it on my friend's streak which is running android 1.6 and on his phone properly detects the battery and reports the battery properly and it is dead when it is reaching 0 % unlike mine which works for 18 to 20 hrs when the stock battery meter shows 1% . The Mugen app doesnt help regarding the calibration as i have used the app and have completed 5 charge cycles of 10 - 12 hrs without break. it is mentioned not to let the battery drain to 0% but since i dont have the readin of the battery i cant say whether it is low or not as the system meter shows 1%
The issue that i am as follows.
1. the system battery meter doesnt show the correct reading.. it shows the battery to be fully charged when the
battery is fully charged tht is at 4211 mv and after i take the charger out and use the battery it shows properly how a normal battery shud decrease and then goes and gets stuck at 1% and in tht 1% the phone will work for 18 to 20 hours..so it wierd as u never know as to when the battery would die and this is wht happenned once the phone suddenly died after being on 1% for 17 hrs
2. no other app works properly cause of this. i have tried using battery left and battery monitor app ( which calculates via voltage ) however what happens is that the app shows a correct reading until the stock meter goes to 1% but once the stock meter reaches 1% the app gets stuck at the reading it showed when the stock meter reached 1%. And if i turn of the phone and take the battery out and put it back in the stock meter shows 50% battery left and the app starts working again and once again when the stock meter reaches 1% the app fails and then again if i take the battery out and put it back in again i get 50% battery on the meter. i have checked on forums and it has been concluded tht this happens when the battery made is not a single battery of 4800 mah but 2 or 3 batteries combined together to appear as 4800 mah.. is that the case with this battery.
3. the third issue is of charging back again... after the stock meter stays stuck at 1% and the phone works for 17 to 18 hrs if i put it back on charging the stock meter still stays stuck at 1% and doesnt move forward at all even though the battery is getting charged...again if i take the battery out and put it back in the battery will show the amount it has been charged.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Forum
Several days now, when I charge my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge while it is off, it is showing me a different percentage. I will give example. I knew I had a 7% battery left, so I shut off my Samsung and plugged it in and instead of showing the 7% it was showing me 28%. When I turned it on it was showing me 28%, and the battery is going quickly below 15%... so every 30 seconds its dropping 1%... I think my battery is dying... but can anybody give me advice on how to solve this problem ? Or is the only way of solving this problem is buying a new battery ?

There are apps on the app store that give you detailed stats about battery and theres a few that tell you how many of your battery cells are dead. Have a look see what it shows. Sounds like battery is on its way out to me though

Ok I fixed my problem !!! I followed a tutorial on how to get this fixed... so... if anybody wants to know how to deal with my problem here are the steps:
Connect your Samsung Galaxy to the wall charger and charge it up to 100% (use the original charger if possible).
Once this is done, disconnect the phone and dial in the dialer code *#0228#
Automatically the phone will enter into a secret option called Battery Status that will allow you to see some technical data on your battery. Notice that the % of the load (Level) coincides with that of the notification bar.
Once this is done you press the button "Quick Start" and agree to the warning.
This will begin the calibration process that will last a few seconds. The screen will turn off (wait 5 seconds) and will take you to the lock screen.
Once this is done turn on the screen again, and check to see if the Level of the battery has dropped (in some cases down to 80% or more).
If your battery drops to 80% or more, then charge the mobile phone again until it reaches 100% and repeat the previous step until the result is 100%. Yes, this step does not repeat too much, only do it 1 or 2 times per load as much or you could harm the battery.

Any questions, please feel free to hit me up. Peace !
I usually switch off my phone when charging and check the battery status by pressing the on/off button. For the past week or so the numeric display has been messed up whereas the graphical display has not. However, once the battery reaches 100% the number and graph are displayed correctly. Does anyone have any idea how this might have happened or how it can be fixed ?

Did you flash a new logo image, or flash a new firmware without flashing its logo image?

I don't know. Whenever I've flashed a new rom I've never seen any option to flash or not flash the logo image.
I've been using the psyrom 3.5 and decided to try the 'Skinny' Rom MIUI 8.2 Beta 7.2.9-SKINNY-V2-MIUI.SU. I noticed the problem after recovering my Psyrom backup.
I now realise (after a re-install) that the skinny rom has a different battery status display when switched off & charging.
How do I choose to include the logo image hen flashing a new firmware ?

I would have imagined that the Skinny ROM would install the logo automatically. You may want to check that with the creator of the mod.
You are talking about 2 different things here - flashing Skinny ROM and restoring Psyrom backup. It is not clear what the current situation is. I think you may want to look at what the being restored in the Psyrom backup.
As I wrote in another thread here before, the battery indicator is a total mess. The battery gets empty and the phone goes off. When I put the charger to charge it while it is off it should normally show 0% or 1% but it shows 25% or 21% or something.

yeah battery calibration is buggy almost since launch day. When I first got it I could do 5H SoT (wtf, right !) and 3 months later only 2 hours. But then one day I tried to let the battery discharge, and the 7 last % got me one more hour of screen time. Then, it powered off. I rebooted it and it had again 25%.
So the phone can last 4-5h but since the battery calibration is wrong, you don't know what's your real battery percentage.
