you need to login with the google account that was on the device. this can be quite tough to bypass but it's doable.

We tried it many times .Please someone help us.
I'm hesitant right now, cause I might just assume that someone might have stolen a phone and now asks for how to unlock it. But anyways, there was just a piece of information on cracking pattern-lock on xda. Google might help you find it.

If the phone has usb-debugging on. You can use adb to delete the pattern. How to do it was on news (of xda) a while ago. You should be able to find to find it from there.

if you flash stock rom without wipe data factory reset , your data'll save and the pattern lock is still the same.
if you wipe it, you will lose your data(but files in storage still the same if doesn't format) at all.

thank you if you let me know the link i will be greatful .my Enlish is not good.
Well, I'm rooted. But, I've bypassed that.
The only problem I'm having is an error that reads: "Isis is unable to download the Terms of Service at this time. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet." I can't find any record on this error on Google or XDA
So, if someone could make an account for me (with my name and email and a temp pass and stuff), I'd be eternally grateful

Stock ROM, just rooted. I have tried Wifi Off, with cell connection and with wifi. Both produce the same error.
Possibly the isis server is having issues...which mod did you use to bypass isis borking on rooted devices?

That's what I currently have. Same situation.
Tried the ISIS Bypass first, it bypassed root but gives me the error. Uninstalled and rebooted. Then installed RootCloak and rebooted, and i get the same error.
Me personally id factory reset and start over and use the xposed first after rooting

I have the same error on a device running 4.0.4 (not rooted). Perhaps this is a version check and pre-4.4 will fail?
Hello, I hope you're doing well. I am trying to restore some deleted Facebook conversations, and I heard that they can be saved as cache files in the Android data storage, but you need to root to access the "hidden" files. I also heard that this particular Samsung model (Samsung Galaxy S6 Active) is hard to root. I tried to access the files without rooting by plugging the Android to the PC, but nothing showed up when I explored the different fb_temp and fb_cache files. Please let me know if there is a safe rooting method out there. Thank you.
EDIT: It is Android version 5.0.2, and the model number is SM-G890A.
Bump
Bump.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

Your best bet is to flash TWRP make sure the correct version for your device and then use TWRP to flash magisk for root. https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/orig-development/twrp-t3080940

Yes, a backup is always wise to ensure you keep all the files, flashing is "uploading" additional software to the phone. But since you only need some recovery check out Magisk: https://******************/ You can download from the app store as well.

Ok, understood. How can I backup? I know there's manual backup via PC and via Google Drive, but are there any other apps? Like backing up specific data perhaps? I'm just scared of losing data if this phone gets bricked or something like that.

Ok great. So, the steps would be to do a manual backup, and then download TWRP on my phone, and then root my phone with Magisk via PC? What are the exact steps per say? Thank you for your help.
If ii were you I would just download the Magisk App to see if that works, it should give you access to root and your recovery apps should work.

You do not need TWRP for the app, TWRP is for the zip file. They both do the same thing but most people familiar with TWRP use that method.
I found 3 versions for the S6
S6: https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxys6.html
S6 Edge: https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxys6edge.html
S6 Edge +: https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxys6edgeplus.html

Hello, it looks like your phone is indeed a rare version however I found some sites that might give you some options to root if using the Magisk app fails. But I also found some topics here on XDA where the S6 Active is impossible to root so I doubt it will work.

Hello all, I have discovered that my note 20 has been infected with a malware that locks the screen at start. I cant open any apps or settings to enable usb debugging. The KG state is locked and the OEM lock is on as well. I tried sideloading another package but had no luck. What's my best bet to removing the malware from the system apps. I was thinking that I could sideload my own app that would remove it but I don't know any apps like that.

It can’t be a virus. Viruses would be gone by factory resets. What happens if you click on one of those weird apps? Do you see them in your app list? If so, what is their package name?
