Mii pad 4 plus won't boot - Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Questions & Answers

My Mii pad 4 plus won't boot, if I have it plugged into the charger it will show the logo then tell me it needs to be charged and then just continues to cycle.
I can go into twrp recovery and flash new rom and then it will try and boot for 10 minutes or so before reverting to the no charge issue. Without the charger plugged in it won't work at all.
I can keep it in twrp for as long as I want, it's really slow for some reason but still works
I was using the global rom with no issues. This happened randomly I hadn't dropped it or flashed anything recently.
Any help would be appreciated.
I think I had flashed the decryption and maybe a kernel.

[Q] Note Possibly bricked? battery issue? etc?

Please help!
For the last few months my note (sgh-i717) has started acting very strange:
1. - The phone says it has a charged battery (or at least 50%) but will restart during intensive applications and then after restart the battery says its at zero percent 0% or close to it.
2. - Random restarts when using an app/game/browsing (not application specific)
3. - It is currently stuck on the boot screen and will not completely boot into the OS,
I am currently using padawan OS, after these issues I have flashed blackjelly thinking I just need a full wipe and a fresh flash. Issue still exists. I was however able to boot fully into blackjelly one time, and only once. It booted, i let it rest for 15-30, rebooted and BAM, stuck on the att loading screen again.
I am using TWRP 2.6.3.0., odin (various versions). I dont have adb loaded as I am not that well versed on it.
I am willing to try almost anything to get this puppy back up and running.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Try a new battery. Boot into recovery and fully wipe and format the system partition. Reinstall your ROM and see how it performs.
I've been having similar problems. Something I've noticed is my Note seems to not be retaining its charger? I just received this phone (years late) but yeah, any suggestions? I ordered a new battery to see if that'd help.

Bricked Samsung GT-S7560 after trying to install recovery

I had already rooted it and was going to perform a ROM backup and during the install of the recovery the phone froze (for about 15 mins) so I unplugged the battery & charger and It went fully dead, no boot animation or pc recognition whatsoever. I was going to install TWRP recovery to backup and make my own ROM to see if I can get any decent life into it. This phone Is nothing special to me since I bought an iPhone 5c 3 years ago instead because I couldn't bare to look at how horrendously bad this samsung phone is.

Bootloader Problem

So starting off, I'm having problems in terms of the bootloader of this phone. I kinda got bored with the stock so I unlocked Max M2's bootloader to install Evolution X ROM (which where recommended by Max M2 users) and yes I did installed it no problem but after a while when finally charging the phone it started to disconnect and reconnect until it finally wont charge. I tried to charge i through Laptop and yes it worked! but after awhile it started to not charge even on a laptop. So I'm starting to convince myself if it is a software problem or the phone itself. Though that's not the case, it connects to the computer when on fastboot mode so I started to think that it is a software problem. So what I find is that when I unlocked the bootloader it started to charge again and so I waited for 2 hours if the charging problem start to come again and yes it did! so what I did is, I relocked the bootloader and yes! IT STARTED TO CHARGE AGAIN!! (though I'm waiting if the problem starts to come again) so anyone also have this problem? or I did something wrong? I decrypted the device when I was rooting but I don't really know if that's the root of the problem?
Please kindly help me if you know, Thanks in advance!!
It seems like this isnt the case at all, so what I did is I tried to change the USB CONFIGURATION to charging and it started to charge again but the problem is the default is not "Charging Only" rather its MTP so how do I change it back to charging only?

[Redmi 5 Plus] Slow charging on custom rom

Hello, everyone! Hope you're doing good. I tried looking for the answer but I can't find something quite similar. I could use the stock rom, but I wanna try something different.
I unlocked my Redmi 5 Plus bootloader, changed the recovery to orange fox latest, wiped everything and installed a custom ROM. Everything good, until I start using the rom and needed to charge my phone, It won't charge. The consumption is bigger than the charge ratio. On Ampere, the consumption is 250Ma, but the charging is mere 50ma - 80ma. Even if I turn off the phone.
(When I installed the recovery orange fox, it asked for a password so I formatted the data partition and everything good, was that ok?)
I'm not sure if this has to do with what happened here: Since the phone wouldn't charge, I decided to flash to the stock rom. Global-V11.0.2.0.OEGMIXM. Tried flashing by recovery with miPCUtility and fastboot MiFlash, were both resulted in a boot loop brick.
The phone would "fresh" boot and say "Find Device Storage Corrupted, Your Device is Unsafe Now" and proceed to reboot.
Then I finally I Test Point flash China-V11.0.2.0.OEGCNXM were booted without problems and then reflashed to global and everything works fine. I saw some posts say that it's the persist.img, but I'm not sure.
Everything back to normal, but only in stock rom.
Regarding the battery problem, it's not the cable as soon as I came back to stock MIUI It charges quite fast, 800ma. I also tried a new cable.
The roms I tried were: pixel experience, LegionOS, CrDroid.
The kernel was: Dark days included by these roms I think.
Was something wrong from the beginning?
Thanks in advance, I wanna mod my phone. I like MIUI, but just want to try something else. Am I flashing the roms incorrectly? Cheers! Hope you're doing good.
Have you a qc3 compatible charger And a cable with all lines, not just power. I can manage pusk about [email protected], which is probably the acceptable (4Ah, 2A is 0.5C charging) limit of the battery and it gets really hot. By some modificatioon of temperature limitas (look for charge magisk modas and what they change} ypu could get even hiigher, at the cost significvantly descreasing battery lide. IIRC the hw suppoert QC only with 5V, not the hoiher ones/ Tested on unoff LOS 17.1 . Supplied charged does only about 1A. You need a QC compatible charger.

Question Phone is turning off by itself after the MIUI 13 update

Hey guys, I've got a very weird problem with my phone which started just after I updated to MIUI 13.. It turns off by itself randomly.
It does it while browsing, texting, etc.. and even when locked. No matter if its charging or on battery. The only situation it doesn't turn off is when playing games, benchmarking or any other heavy task which is very weird as I thought the battery might be on its way out but it doesn't make sense if it works fine with heavy tasks...
The device is 3 months old but recently I replaced the display and the warranty is void now obviously, so I can't use that..
What I tried so far:
- Factory resetting, nothing changed
- Tried with the OEM safe mode, nothing changed
- I downloaded the same update again and flashed it throught the OEM recovery, nothing changed
- I'll try to make a clean install of the ROM when im able to unlock the bootloader which is of course after 7 days
Could it be a hardware issue and.. what it might be? The phone is working absolutely fine besides that random shut off - perfomance is the same, battery life is the same, no freezes ..nothing.
The other issue im experiencing and I've read alot about this is that my touch screen sometimes (rarely) is unresponsive. It just freezes, the phone is alright but I can't press on anything..
If it is software issue, how can I resolve it? Should I clean install the 13.0.4 rom or older?
edit.. i don't think it is actually shutting of but rather the display going black and unresponsive to any buttons as to restart it I must hold the power button more than 10 seconds
And also, I'm new to the forum, sorry if i posted this in the wrong section and excuse my bad english, I'm not a native speaker. Thank you
it's a firmware bug....do clean flash and pray it disappear..do fastboot clean flash

Thank you, I'll try when the bootloader is unlocked.. Meanwhile, I'm really worried about this being a result of the screen replacement? Could that be the issue? The screen works absolutely fine, keeps 90hz refresh rate, no glitches or artifacts.. Should I bring the phone back to the shop where I changed the display?
I confirmed that this is indeed a software bug. After factory reset, I kept the mobile data and wifi off so it can't update the apps and for 2 hours there were no signs of the problem UNTIL i turned the WiFi back on, the setup finished, updated the apps and my phone crashed in 10 mins. No idea which app causes this or why, but atleast its not hardware related. I'll try to reflash the 13.0.4 through OTA again and see if the problem persists.. If so, i wont have phone for the next 7 days because of the bootloader lock.. Thanks Xiaomi

flash with fastboot.. i think it's possible even locked..
Factory default and not restore apk, the problem could be any apk that did not work on miui 13.
Its not possible to flash with fastboot on locked bootloader. I tried several times it just refuses anything. I also couldn't manage to manually sideload OTA rom in recovery and I wouldn't risk it through the updater app because of the crashes..
I left my phone overnight with data turned off and it never crashed again.. I hope this get fixed after the clean flash because I really like MIUI13 and don't want to roll back
Same here. No any response from MIUI yet.

MIUI 13 Lockscreen Crash!
Hello guys, after I got my bootloader unlocked, i tried flashing several ROMs both china and EEA with MiFlash (clean all option) and it still crashes the phone randomly... I don't know what to do anymore. The only time phone can sit turned on without crashing is in fastboot and when booted but plugged in to computer (idk what is this about).. What should I do? I'll try to downgrade to 12.5 EEA stable with Mi Flash but is this clean install or should I do it with twrp?

Fastboot only
Im stuck in bootloop after downgrading to MIUI 12.5 EEA (the version i was on previously before miui13) via fastboot. The phone restarts after the boot logo and no matter which ROM i reflash it doesn't go beyond that.. Any advice? Tried factory resetting after flash but no result
Guys, no matter what I do, i cant bring the phone to life again. It reaches the MI logo, stays there for 10 seconds and screen goes black. I tried flashing EEA, Global, China, many versions all through fastboot. They flash with success, no errors at all but when rebooted it is stuck at the boot logo... Please help! I can still boot to stock recovery/twrp and fastboot. What can I do???
MiFlash log
I just tried the services of the telegram guy who does EDL flash over teamviewer. The flash finished with success but the same problem still persist and not only that, now It goes straight to fastboot without a chance to even boot in recovery...

Thats what I did, it never turned on until yesterday. A miracle happened and the phone booted but after 5 mins it crashed again... Wtf might be the problem with it. The only time it doesn't turn off is when its plugged to a computer with switched on debugging. I can't wrap my mind around it, are there any crash logs that I can read? Logcat doesn't show anything in help
