[Q] Google Play - bug!

Got a real weird bug ^^ with Google Play...
If I try to install an app - the d/l will complete, but the app won't install...
To get the app to install I have to reboot ph
I've tried all manner of wipes for Google Play & Download Manager & Google Play Services... :FAIL:
I've even tried installing an older version of Google Play (via installer & copy+paste)... this just gets me a d/l that doesn't begin
Any ideas are welcome...
T.I.A
Specs: Rom = Omega v16.2 [JB 4.1.2]
PS - Bug present before LSJ mods & after (2x nandroids)

I doublt it is just a bug in google play. Maybe a combination of your rom and google play? I have never encountered this behaviour. So I don't think this is entirely a google play problem. Since you're running a custom rom, I suspect this has some part of the problem.

:mmm:
Well... well... well... 3x holes in the ground
Many others have had this issue ^^ :surprise:
A workaround fix is... to, uninstall Google Play updates (it has rolled back to 3.9.17)
as long as I don't launch Google Play from ph - I can install apps via PC (tried pc side install before this work around & it failed)
So, it would seem to be a Google Play issue & not the custom rom :victory:

Google Play Services gone

Hi, I'm on SlimKat stable 3.0 (KitKat 4.4.2), I've tried to run "integrate updates updates of system apps into ROM" in Titanium Backup and it failed for "Google Play services" (aka "gms", the one with the jigsaw icon), Google Play services is now missing.
Google Play (market) and other Google stuff doesn't work without it.
Any idea how to get it back, preferably without wiping the phone?
I've tried flashing gapps (minimal, some incarnation of gms seems to be inside the zip), wiped dalvik/ cache, but this did not help.
What do I do next?
Does installing google play services apk manually work? You can search for it on google.

Updating google play services problems

Hello I'm running viper 3.1.4 Jelly bean rom
everything was fine until the latest google play services update
after the update :
google apps are crashing
google now shows sign in error
play store shows connection error
Sync problems with "people details" not able to sync
& I've tried everything from clearing cache & data to Flashing another Rom (CMJelly bean & viperS 5 kitkat rom)
Also if i install Google play services v4 everything works fine No more crash alerts & sync works normally (except for apps requiring to update )
Nothing works, Help!
Thanks in advance

Question Latest CN ROM 13.5.380 ST (Disabled Google Play)

I have a CN ROM, but after the latest update (13.5.380) it disabled google play store, so I tried clearing cache and storage even removing my google account and see if it works, now as a last resort I factory reset it and voila! all google play apps are gone, can't even install google play, so my question is there anyway to flash it back to its original ROM version? (if there's any link as to where to download it that would be really helpful) thanks in advance.
I am experiencing the same. O don't know what else to do. Can't get into any google accounts. Please help

Hello, can you expand a little more please?
Did you mean to disable the application and restart the phone and activate the application?
