Dears, please I need the stock firmware for "Archos Diamond S".
I looked everywhere online but could only find for other Archos models. I need the one which can be flashed via SP Flash tool (Archos phones have MTK chip).

Dear,
I already downloaded this same update.zip before but the thing is this is not flashable via SP Flasher (means it doesn't have a scatter file) but it can only be flashed using a custom recovery or by Fastboot. The reason i need an SP Flasher compatible firmware is because the phone is totally bricked and i have no access to the recovery or bootloader mode. The only detectable way for this phone on a computer is using the "preloader" mode of MTK. That's why i am looking for SP Flasher compatible version.

Dear,
It's true that there is a scatter file in there, but it's just in a totally different format that the that's accepted by SP-Flasher... I even tried to get the entries from the included scatter and tried to import them to some SP-Flasher dummy scatter template... but the template has a lot more lines than the one included in that zip..... too bad that Archos stopped supporting their devices...

managede to do it with a pached recovery TWRP

boot to recovery bye push wolume+ an hold it then push an hold the power buttom until android logo comes up then let go off power buttom but still hold the wolume+ until the recovery shows up
go to install zip find the zip an install it an now u are rooted

If u have the hdc gt h7100 then no when u load the new recovery with sp flashing tools
The only thing there can happen is that u cant start up recovery if thats happen just load ur stock recolvery an its all good again
But if u have the hdc there will be no problems loading this recovery it is the stock recovery frm my phone i have portet twrp to

i can see it is a star H7100 also fore that we have a solution
i've downloaded form the official site of huawei an update for my phone which name is " KII-L21C636B130 "
this update contain 2 files which ends with .app
the first one which is the rom was 2.7 gb
and the second one was 1 kb
when i tried to flash the rom from a micro sd card , i couldn't
so i tried to flash the other file which was in a folder named as " CUSTOMIZE_HW_SPCSEAS "
my phone had turned to this :crying: :crying:
please any help because i have searched a lot for a solution and i couldn't find any
i want my phone back to it factory condition

You shouldn't flash small update.app in Vietnamese ROM because it changed your region to spcseas instead of your old region, that's why you lost your device infos
you need root/twrp to fix it
I had the same problem before and managed to fix it

If you have stock recovery put the large update.app in your sdcard in a folder dload
shut down the phone. now bootup the phone holding volup+voldown+power
when you do it correctly the phone will flash the software from the dload folder to the phone.
when it's done reboot to recovery with volup+power and choose a factory reset from the stock recovery menu
i tried it but nothing new
as i told you before, visit huawei service center and they will fix it for you
or you have to flash twrp then root your device to fix it

I am saying that i have done the flash tool read back without any errors and now i have the ROM_1 dump file.i need to make this flashable again via flash tool.but when i use mtk droid tool i cannot click "to process file rom from flash tool" button

i dont know what caused the error but i tried with a another pc and it worked.i have the flashable backup now.but i have another problem i have tried so many rom for huawei hol - u19 but it is on black screen no light vibrate charging or anything.should i start new thread ?
id dont know about starting a new thread nut this happendto my huawei y600 u20 before and i think that due to an incompitable rom or in by other way that meanes there is 2 version of your phone the soulotion is try to port this rom or make sure you did the wipe dalivik/partion cache
or try another rom if it worked then the proplem is with the current rom

At first i tried new roms with "only download" mode but all went with a bootloop i have googled and i save format+download may fix.so i did a format+download after that i cannot turn no my devices nothing on display no charging no vibrating.but flash tool still recognize my phone and i gave tried flashing few times.still no hope.just blank screen.

The phone is locked in fastboot mode and i forget my unlock keys.

I can not flash anything on it ... because it says " comment not allowed.."
I do not know what the problem is.....

I only have a fastboot that i use every commands tell "command not allowed."

For now the only way to fix is with Sigmakey BOX , it is not free so is better to send your device to Service Center ...

I used box and dungle because my device boot image breaked
If your bootloader is unlocked, try installing twrp recovery, and flash from there, it may work. If not, flash a custom 5x rom, and really enjoy your phone. The 5x is old now, no warranty now, and there are a lot of stable roms for it(I use arrows 9.0) . From lollipop, to pie now, it’s pretty indestructible.

As I can see that's the file source you had downloaded from not good!
it's showing ".gz" not ".tgz"
Download the fastboot rom from here

and un-zip the "recovery.img" from it and flash the recovery file that's it
