Home button Google animation? - Huawei Mate 20 Pro Questions & Answers

I basically have my home button not set for Google assistant, yet everytime I tap the home button to close out a screen I get that Google circles animation occuring.
I managed to get rid of this behavior by re-enabling Google app as I had it disabled before.
It appears that disabling the Google app is what triggers the home button animations, regardless of having Google assistant off . Bug or feature? Now my home button no longer makes an unnecessary animation when pressed.

long press 'home' button on MOAR rom to bring up CURRENT APPS- possible to program ?

MOAR is my first rom tht I am happily using for the last 4-5days. However the long press of home button doesn't bring up current running apps which was useful for me - the LMT app allows for this via a 'swipe up' but sometimes it can be hit or miss.
any suggestions ?
thanks
You can set it up yourself go to settings- Moar mod control - buttons and displays - home button

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
if that is your home screen that search bar is Google voice aka velvet the path is system/priv app/velvet delete that you should be good.
it did not work
Long press and "remove", takes it off the Home screen.
It is not
I assume that you use the new Home launcher. If so, then use Serajr's Xperia Home X (MM) Xposed Module. There'll be an option to disable it

Keyboard hides navigation buttons

Hello,
Recently whenever the virtual keyboard is up (default or swiftkey both) the navigation keys disappear, and there is no way of getting them back outside of somehow closing the keyboard. Which is sometimes nearly impossible without the "back" key.
Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?
Edit: For the time being what I've done is install an app simply called navigation bar.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And set it to automatically disappear.
This way I can have a secondary navigation bar when swiping up while the keyboard is open.
I'd still like to know if there is a native way to fix this however.
Do you take a try to reset your setting about navigation gesture?
