Hello,
Recently whenever the virtual keyboard is up (default or swiftkey both) the navigation keys disappear, and there is no way of getting them back outside of somehow closing the keyboard. Which is sometimes nearly impossible without the "back" key.
Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?
Edit: For the time being what I've done is install an app simply called navigation bar.

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And set it to automatically disappear.
This way I can have a secondary navigation bar when swiping up while the keyboard is open.
I'd still like to know if there is a native way to fix this however.
Do you take a try to reset your setting about navigation gesture?

Hi,
i was wondering if i am the only one who thinks that Googles idea to replace the menu button with the action bar on phones is a crappy idea?

all it does is waste screen estate (which is valuable despite bigger screens)
and split the options into multiple parts which is confusing
i hope there will be a setting / tweak or a modification (maybe an option in cyanogenmod ) that hides the action bar and puts it`s contents in the menu-menu that is accessed by pressing the menu-button
(in picture above the action abr would be gone and the "+" and the "edit" options were in the menu-menu)
what`s your opinion on this?
As I'm not addicted to widgets I think it's okay for the home screen.
Any app needs the fullscreen mode in 99%

Stock SG4 on KitKat, Just did the upgrade to NC5 and the first thing I notice is when typing is the keyboard punctuation key (to the right of spacebar) when long pressed I cannot swipe over to the punctuation key in the small pop up window. I have to lift my finger then select the punctuation I want. Tried disabling/enabling features in the keyboard settings and language/input settings but nothing will take it back to the old Longpress and swipe over to the punctuation key. Any thoughts on how to get this back? Pic attached ...

Very interesting app for non-rooter's like me. It works in portrait on my 10.5, but not landscape which doesn't matter since the hard buttons are there anyway.
With Nova Launcher, I just enable the dock icons with the label in single-line mode so this app just covers up those dock icon labels on the homescreens. The only issue is in apps that have buttons at the bottom of their page that this app gets in the way, but it can be easily swiped away so I can see them. Now my left thumb can just sit there and hold the Tab 10.5 in portrait mode vice having to reach for those hard buttons. Especially if that hard home button/fingerprint reader ever stopped working.

I basically have my home button not set for Google assistant, yet everytime I tap the home button to close out a screen I get that Google circles animation occuring.
I managed to get rid of this behavior by re-enabling Google app as I had it disabled before.
It appears that disabling the Google app is what triggers the home button animations, regardless of having Google assistant off . Bug or feature? Now my home button no longer makes an unnecessary animation when pressed.
