Hi,
i was wondering if i am the only one who thinks that Googles idea to replace the menu button with the action bar on phones is a crappy idea?
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
all it does is waste screen estate (which is valuable despite bigger screens)
and split the options into multiple parts which is confusing
i hope there will be a setting / tweak or a modification (maybe an option in cyanogenmod ) that hides the action bar and puts it`s contents in the menu-menu that is accessed by pressing the menu-button
(in picture above the action abr would be gone and the "+" and the "edit" options were in the menu-menu)
what`s your opinion on this?
As I'm not addicted to widgets I think it's okay for the home screen.
Any app needs the fullscreen mode in 99%

It'd be really awesome to have notifications on one screen and at a swype away you can have all the toggles you need. The alternatives offered here are kind of clumsy because they can take a large portition of the notification screen and in portrait mode you can only see a bit more then just one notification. This MIUI notification bar I find much more appealing.
Also adding the swype to clear notifications would be cool, as well as removing the Notifs/Toggle buttons on the bottom and leaving the light indicator. This would really save a lot of screen space.

Hi all,
I've recently tried out Action Launcher Pro, and it has a very neat feature called "covers".
Covers are folders that can act like a single app too.
what I mean is, they appear as the app icon (the little white square on the bottom right indicates it's a cover), and if you click it then it opens up the app, but if you swipe it vertically, it opens up a folder containing more apps.
it's like this:
Single app:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When you swipe it vertically:
anyone knows if such app/widget that does this exists?
had the same problem on the note II never did find solution but now with my note III I would like to solve this.
when I select a wallpaper and I stretch the selection window to pick what I want it always uses less than what I select it "stretches or blows up" the image some cutting off the top and bottom making it look muddy.
what can I do to correct this. it does not do this on the lock screen just on the desktop (widget lock screen and launcher prime does the same thing in touchwiz)
suggestions?
Here is the lock screen

}
Here is the desktop
is there a special dimension size I need to use to get it to stop cropping my image for the desktop?
Hello,
Recently whenever the virtual keyboard is up (default or swiftkey both) the navigation keys disappear, and there is no way of getting them back outside of somehow closing the keyboard. Which is sometimes nearly impossible without the "back" key.
Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?
Edit: For the time being what I've done is install an app simply called navigation bar.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And set it to automatically disappear.
This way I can have a secondary navigation bar when swiping up while the keyboard is open.
I'd still like to know if there is a native way to fix this however.
Do you take a try to reset your setting about navigation gesture?
