I have a SPCS TP & the Alarm won't turn off even after going into the alarm settings & unchecking the alarm box.
I have to do a soft reset to turn it off.
Any reason why?

Hi, I had the same problem. To turn off the alarm on Touch Pro, press the alarm icon in top header bar when the alarm starts, and in the new box that appears press disable. That stops the alarm but does not cancel, so next alarm setting is still OK.
Stock alarm only plays alarm once, and thats it. So if I'm a deep sleeper, then im obviously not gonna hear it.
Anyone know any alarm apps that play the alarm ringtone over and over and over again UNTIL you dismiss or snooze it?

Are you sure about that?
It does allow snooze, may be you switched it off while asleep and forgot it, happen to me a few times.
Yeah, it only plays once and thats it. snooze and dismiss button remain there, but no more ringing after the first ring..
i use Alarm Klock and find it works very well. you can choose the alarm tone, set many alarms and snooze time is variable. It also has a slider function for turning the alarm off, so it cant be done while half asleep ;-)

"Sanfter Wecker" is a very useful Alarm Clock. The best thing about is that you can adjust the alarm volume because the standard alarm is way too loud.
You can test it before you buy it. There is a test version available on the market.
Try Math alarm clock (com.av.mac.apk).
The stock alarm is very weak. What is the point of the snooze when it rings once? and they have a time setting for the snooze which I find is pointless. I set it at five minutes but nothing happens.
I am using Alarm Clock Xtreme, which has lots of settings perfect for me.

Anyone else having this issue? I set snooze to ten minutes and when the alarm goes off slide to snooze and the alarm instead shuts off completely...
I get this as well. I really hate the Samsung alarm clock. Anyone know where I can get the ASOP alarm clock, or at least recommend me another one.

i'm slowly getting used to my galaxy s2. But one of the important features i need is an alarm clock. I find it difficult to get up in the morning, so if an alarm clock simply has a snooze button, that when touched turns off, then that is no good for me.
I'm looking for an alarm app, which has a snooze button that only turns off when i slide it or something like that.
Can anyone please recommend any?
The stock built-in alarm clock has a slide to snooze option. When setting the alarm, be sure to check the snooze option.
I have a rooted Thunderbolt. I have occasionally used the alarm clock function of the clock with no problems. Recently when I tried to set the alarm I found that in the deskclock view the alarm clock icon where I would set an alarm is greyed out and I can't set an alarm. I have looked through all of the settings and I don't see anything that looks like I can turn this function on or off.
Any ideas???
