anyone tested this ROM ?
Yey!!! Thank you ?
Update - Magisk 19.5 root works!
Link in OP.
thanks for this.. flashing time hehehe
Bluetooth file transfer worked for me. (Mobile & PC). Transfer from & to worked. Need to test Car audio.
For those who are flashing this,
1. There are no booting screen, just black screen. It's still booting up, don't panic.
2. everything except known issue works well.
3. Gcam based on urnyx05 newest version works flawlessly.
3. There are some random screen touch freezes, requiring to lock screen and unlock it to work properly again.
4. FP doesn't seems to work on unlocking the phone? works during setup, but doesn't work when trying to unlock phone from sleep/lock screen. Tries to delete fingerprint, but the fingerprint setting froze? and adding FP after setup doesn't work too.
edit:
will try to do a clean flash again, just to check what happen to my FP sensor
edit edit:
Seems like clean flash again works flawlessly for me on the FP sensor. Did same step, not sure what goes wrong tho. thanks @meakshaymishra
thanks neobuddy89 for releasing CRdroid with android 10.
Initial Impression of this ROM -
Working :
1. LTE
2. Wifi
3. Android 10 Gestures
4. Bluetooth worked fine for transferring file from PC haven't tested on another phone to phone.
5. Fingerprint working flawless
Not Working :
1. No Bootanimation
2. Alert Slider
3. No FaceUnlock (Maybe because of GApps have to test it)
P.S - I'll update it if I find anything else. I have just flashed this ROM.

Is bluetooth audio working?
Is bluetooth working for bluetooth earphone and for fitness band?
Bluetooth with car audio worked without a hitch.
FP is a mess. Not working. Can't delete the set FP's.
Mine didn't go past the oneplus logo before rebooting. Maybe due to F2FS. (I'm running decrypted, flashing f2fs_stab gives a mount /vendor error)

Somehow the no_verity v3 cannot patch the fstab, I think that's why my device is in constant bootloop

Hey xda! After a long time being retired from development, I decided to get back to work porting MIUI for our sweet Nexus 6P. Yes, this is not the only MIUI port available, but it's the most updated one, plus I've gone through some bug fixing to make it usable as a daily driver. That having been said, it has some minor bugs that will be fixed over time, also thanks to your future reports.
Changelog:
Code:
0.2b
Removed su binaries, now the ROM should be 100% root free - use MAGISK V13 to root
Removed MIUI Whetstone app/perms, no more crashes! - Thanks MrCreel for the tip!
Fixed MMS, hopefully!
Fixed some build.prop inconsistencies
Installation Instructions:
Prerequisites:
In order for the ROM to work correctly, you must be on a MM (6.0.1) base. If you're coming from Nougat, you can flash a 6.0.1 bootloader, radio and vendor! Download them here and flash through fastboot:
BOOTLOADER - RADIO - VENDOR
Installation:
- Download MIUI
- In TWRP, wipe data, cache, dalvik and system
- BEFORE flashing, reboot to recovery again
- Flash the ROM (just ignore the data warning during flash)
- Reboot and enjoy!
If your SIM card isn't recognized don't worry: just reboot your phone and it will work fine!
Some important notice:
- First boot will be LONG! Be patient, if you follow the instructions correctly, the phone will boot, it'll just take some extra time.
- When performing the initial setup, be sure to select ENGLISH as main language (you can select your correct region though), otherwise MiCloud will crash. I'm trying to fix this, but ATM I still have no clue about this strange behaviour. After completing the initial setup, you can set your preferred language in settings!
Bugs:
- Initial setup partially broken - follow the instructions above to get over it!
- Advanced audio settings (EQ,Dirac, etc) crash - working on it
If you want to help me as much as possible, attach a logcat when reporting a bug! Don't know what a logcat is? See HERE

Thanks for coming back to maintain MIUI for the 6P man. I haven't ran MIUI since my Galaxy Nexus days, but I'm definitely excited to try it out on a stable release.
Everything seems to be working fine, but I can't get data to work, which is a deal breaker to me so I'll have to go back to my previous rom for now...
Great job with the rom btw

So far, AMAZING rom, and this will probably be my daily driver henceforth. Only problem I'm having is that something is tripping up Snapchat and I'm not able to login... I even went into TWRP and flashed Magisk 15.1 to see if I could use the Magisk Hide option, but I'm unable to log in even after making sure Magisk was hidden from Snapchat. Something else must be tripping it up.

Awesome, much appreciated
I still cant seem to get this to boot.
I did a full wipe (cache, dalvik/art, system, data), factory reset, format data.
Flash ROM and 8.1 GApps Aroma from TWRP Unofficial link. Reboot. Right back to recovery.
Attempted multiple times. but could be doing something wrong with the order of the process. Will continue to try.
Make sure you backup internal and have a full nandroid of everything including modem because once you try to restore back to OOS it will say encryption unsuccessful and you have to format data and flash a full OOS zip before you can boot because a factory reset won't work (even though that's what it says you must do). And restoring just boot system and data will leave you without data connection.
Thanks for the hard work dev!
Awesome Rom
This rom is a beast, so much customization. So far the only issue i have come across was the camera, the pictures were coming out at a 90 degreee angle. i had to install google camera and that solved it.
Im not sure about the battery usage as i have only just flashed it but lets see.
Massive thank you to the Devs, good work.

4) Join our Discord server! There, you can connect with other Carbon users and our developers, and you can get quicker responses to your bug reports. The invite link is right below.
Notice:
In order to install GApps, you must flash the ROM then reboot into TWRP before flashing our custom GApps package (as this switches slots). Custom GApps package can be found at https://mirror.myself5.de/taimen/GApps. We're working with the team behind MindTheGapps to fix the upstream for taimen.
Also, we know the default wallpaper on is black. We know it's caused by the RRO overlays on vendor and unfortunately we can't change the default (yet?), you can change it manually without complications though.
We know it’s complicated, but it sure is worth it!
Install Instructions:
Flash the newest factory images on both slots
Move your ROM + [GApps] + TWRP.zip to your internal storage
Boot the TWRP.img > Check what Slot you're on (Reboot Menu) ->Wipe Data & Cache -> Flash the ROM as well as the TWRP.zip
Either Reboot to system or, in case you want GApps, reboot to recovery via TWRP (Reboot -> Recovery)
Check and confirm that you are on the opposite slot from Step 3. If not, switch to it and reboot the recovery again (Reboot Menu) -> Flash GApps (and whatever else you want to flash -> Reboot to System -> Enjoy CarbonROM

magisk 16.4,razorlove gapps 0328,dolby,subt. all working fine!
If you get boot loop using razorlove gapps just force reboot and your good to go!
I also wanted point out something this rom does that no other rom does. When using dolby there is no popping at all and when you clear recents there is no clicking at all.
You can double tap anywhere on screen, not even DU rom does that!Great start guys, awesome rom!Very glad your back!

Some apps are force closing when doing some things. Gallery closes when editing an image. Snapchat closes when trying to open a story or a photo someone sent you. I reported in the jira, but if anyone has a fix, i'm all ears. (I can provide a logcat)

Some apps are force closing when doing some things. Gallery closes when editing an image. Snapchat closes when trying to open a story or a photo someone sent you. I reported in the jira, but if anyone has a fix, i'm all ears. (I can provide a logcat)

Sure, it'll boot fine but erases recovery --unless flashes kernel, magisk, twrp and then u can keep recovery

Install Instructions
Grab our recovery from the peripherals section and install it.
Through TWRP Recovery:
Install Zip > Install Image > Choose ‘recovery.img‘ > Select partition ‘Recovery’ > Swipe to confirm flash
Through Fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Install the ROM and then wipe your internal data partition.
Through TWRP Recovery:
Wipe > Format data
Through Fastboot:
Code:
fastboot -w
Reboot into system and wait until the process finishes, it could take a little bit. After the installation is done, I suggest waiting before using the phone because it usually goes into thermal throttling after installing a ROM.

The instructions in the first post is a generic copy & paste method not aimed at this specific device. You should follow the instructions in Post #2 and use the TWRP (and BLOD patch if needed) in Post #3.

pixelboot, I know i'm four months late but I just ripped PE a new one on telegram.....unreal. They just released a build for the 5X on march 27th. The nerve of those dudes. I know you have moved on and I applaud you for that. Thanks for continuing the work. This latest build is fantastic. I finally managed to install a new battery into "The last nexus." Your hard work has enabled me to bring life back to Angler. I can't thank you enough.
I was swiping to unlock the device and suddenly it booted into Google logo..then I have to again restart the device by going into twrp..

same problem...
well after i posted last night I tried to reboot back into exUI....got stuck at white screen with G logo. I was so mad that I ended up WIPING EVERYTHING....which was probably the worst thing I could have done. I tried re-installing the last stock android image. I did so successfully however, again when I booted up it got "stuck" again but this time with the black screen and Android logo in all CAP WHITE letters. I'm going to see if I can install a different rom but something tells me it's going to get "stuck" again.

Believe me over these past couple of years (years 3 and 4 with angler) I have thought to myself do I finally have the dreaded BLOD.....but as it turns out I don't.
I just installed a new battery...(I've been dragging my rear getting around to do this....needed a new battery 2 years ago).
I think I screwed up with the ExUI build when I didn't "format data" right after flashing it. And the instructions specifically say to do that. What I don't understand is if that indeed what was wrong why did it bother to boot into exUI in the first place, only to get stuck at boot screen on first reboot.
I was also thinking maybe it was an app I downloaded upon install but I don't know.
---------- Post added at 11:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:49 PM ----------
I know this is a major faux pas but I installed pixe1dust rom and have restarted several times and I have no problems on the latest build of that. This is how I know I don't have BLOD.
thx to pixelboot for that as well.
I will say that extendedUI is a lot smoother but for the time being I'm going to keep using pixe1dust until I start going crazy again. Maybe down the line I will try extendedUI again.

Making progress!
Is there a way to get through the set-up process without setting up face-recognition? There's an option to disable the camera for face-recognition, but that just gets me a boot-animation loop. I can't find any way to get through the set-up without enabling and setting up face-recognition. Not sure how that's supposed to work for people who have a medical condition that doesn't let them open both eyes; or a device with a selfie-camera that's not working properly.
Having a few problems with the device rebooting itself, and/or booting up and getting stuck on the boot-animation.
---------- Post added at 08:17 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:13 AM ----------
When powering on, the device usually puts itself into airplane-mode. This is especially odd, since sometimes it shows that wifi and/or bluetooth are turned on; they're not working, but the toggle-icons are "lit up".
Also, I would expect that toggling wifi and/or bluetooth would turn airplane-mode off, but it doesn't.
Settings → crDroid Settings → Lock Screen → Battery Info (enabled)
Charging current always shows "0mA"
GSam is showing ≈400mA charging current.
---------- Post added at 09:34 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:20 AM ----------
Settings → crDroid Settings → User Interface → Weather service
Do I need a OWM key to use this? I've got an older version of cdDroid and it lets me pick between Yahoo and OWM weather information providers.
---------- Post added at 10:02 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:34 AM ----------
There's no "Lock screen message"?
I keep turning on the device, either from a cold-boot, reboot, or waking it up, and the wifi has turned itself off. Turning on the wifi (or just now, watching it turn itself on) more often than not results in spontaneous reboot, usually/always with the boot animation just running indefinitely.
To escape from the boot animation, VOL_DOWN-HOME-PWR to get to a blank screen, then release the buttons. This seems to consistently result on a proper boot… After which the wifi may or may not turn on.
Same problems in safe-mode.
This is kinda useless and frustrating:
turning wifi on immediately reboots the device
after rebooting, the boot-animation just loops indefinitely
I have to hold VOL_DOWN-HOME-PWR to break the loop
After the device boots up, go back to step #1
