Hi, offering $10 PayPal to anyone that helps me fix my phone. (Don't know if this is against the rules, if so, I take it back).
Here's the situation:
Was on stock MIUI Global 9.5.8.0 with RedWolf Recovery.
Did a backup and flashed LineageOS
Wasnt happy with it and flashed back the backup, including the Firmware and EFS partitions, basically every partition
Bootloop, WiFi and BT driver prolly messed up, cant connect and restarts upon trying to connect to WIFI/BT.
Tried flashing other firmware, various combinations of wipes, flashes, MiFlashTool fastboot rom, nothing helped.
Tried flashing with EDL, the newest ROM gives me "Too many lines in XML file", old ROM flashed fine, but then couldn't even get to fastboot.
Now: Can't get to fastboot nor recovery, phone goes to EDL mode w/ red LED blinking when connected to PC.
QFIL gives me "Cannot read packet header, read 0 bytes", same with MiFlash.
What are my options guys? Is this a dead case? Any help is greatly appreciated.
i try to flash pixel experience, the developer guide to flash firmware+vender zip after flashing the ROM zip, as per the guide I flash the ROM ZIP and firmware zip, after flashing the firmware, mobile rebooted and nothing to show in display. so i try to force boot in to recovery. the screen nothing to show. so i try to boot on fastboot. still nothing to show in mobile screen even the fastboot logo. i connect my mobile to computer, and i noticed the HS-USB QDLoader 9008 driver was installed. so guess it was in EDL mode, then try to flash the stock ROM using MI flash tool And get the error " cannot receive hello pocket." "object reference not set to an instance of an object " so i try to flash using QFIL , still not get any improvement, so kindly guide any possible to unbrick my phone.
Hey there I'm kinda having the same problem, any progress on your end ? I waited a few days for the battery to die and then connected to MiFlash but it keeps asking for an EDL authorized account, which is apparently a rarity. Exploring other options such as bypassing EDL authorization, long shot but what could be worse eh ...

Could you solve the problem? I have the same problem. Did you find information or a method to bypass EDL authentication?

What version of mi flash are you using? If it is the one from 2017 then it will not work as it isn't compatible with EDL.
Update miflash to latest or at least 2018 version to use EDL mode
I write it fast, my poco f1 just got hardbricked on fully working custom rom. stuck in edl mode. What to do?
Download firmware from official site. Use qpst to flash in edl mode. Use "no qcn" rom or you will erase imei serial.

Has anybody tried or confirmed that this works?
Hi, I need an advice..I sent my renoir to service center and just get it back, but I can't no more enter in fastboot mode...
I tried manually and with ADB, but it"s stuck on MI logo....I ve tried factory reset, but its same...I'm on 13.0.5 EEA rom
I can reboot normally and the phone start....any advice
thanks
I have flashed many times, GSI and rom, ADB recognise the phone.....
I answer to my self..I have solved my issue with this
re-flash the current ROM you're using through the Updater app. It has that binary as part of the firmware and it should be unconditionally flashed.
Ever since I did factory reset on my Infinix X690b, the sim card refused to detect and baseband is unknown... Normally flashing stock rom should restore the phone back to its original state and fix the baseband unknown issue, but after I flashed the phone's stock rom, the baseband unknown wasn't fix.
I decided to proceed to writing IMEI despite baseband unknown, but the phone refused to boot to meta mode. I have tried the above steps after i unlocked the phone's boot loader, but still nothing worked. (Someone said that the metamode of the phone is corrupt), which flashing of stock rom should easily fix, but somehow flashing stock rom isn't fixing it.
The phone boots into preloader and brom mode effortlessly, but has refused to boot to meta mode., if i try to boot into meta, it'll make connecting and disconnecting sounds, until the phone starts charging or boots up by itself.
The phone's build number is X690B-H691DE-Q-GL-220215V356, and I have downloaded 2 stock rom that has exact match as the device's build number.
Moving on, I was able to detect the phone's build number through fastboot mode as version-baseband: MOLY.LR12A.R3.MP.V94.4.P48 but in device info, it is saying baseband unknown. flashing stock rom didn't restore the baseband.
I have also flashed the stock rom with MTK Client, and still the baseband unknown wasn't fixed. Pls help me on how to fix this, thanks guys
