After trying to flash a Nexus rom on my tvbox, It bricked ( red led, not image, reset only working if I short 2 pins on the Nand ) . Now I can't find any rom for it, all of the firmwares I had tried to install stuck at 7% ( [0x32030201]Uboot/Get result/Disk Initial error ) with Usb burning tool. As for the SD card tries with Burn card maker, they do try to load the firmwares but stop at like 2-3 percent.
Is there any working, be it even stock firmware for this revision ?

One year later bump. I bought a Tanix TX3 last year since I couldn't find a fix to my issue with the M8S Pro W but today I found the box while doing some cleaning so why not post again, maybe someone can help me with this bricked box issue.
Getting this error with usb burning tool with all the IMGs ( even Lunn ones ): 7% ( [0x32030201]Uboot/Get result/Disk Initial error ) M8S Pro W rev 2.3, p21x blue board, Spectek nand.

Mecool M8S Pro W rev. 2.3 after trying to flash the Nexus rom on it. It bricked, red led, black screen, reset working, the only thing that worked was shorting the pins on the Nand flash. Now it gets detected by pc everytime I plug the usb into it. But...I can't find any good images to flash on it ( tried more than 15 of them ). Most of them get stuck at 4% with Usb burn maker or 7% ( [0x32030201]Uboot/Get result/Disk Initial error ). 90% of them aren't bootable with SD card maker, and those who do work, get stuck at like 2-3% on tv at "upgrading..." ( Lunn-NHG47L-20190418.114957.V0213.img , this one is among the few that is accepted by the tvbox on the SD card ). I am running out of ideas on how to get it working. Can anyone help me with a good firmware image ?
The board has a P21X motherboard and someone from another forum told me that I have SpecTek MLC-Nand FBML95B71KDBABH6-10AL

Hi folks, I'm hoping someone can help me unbrick my MXQ Pro 4k. I've searched high and low for the stock firmware but it is nowhere to be found. My box seems to be a peculiar variant and the specs are as follow:
S905x 1GB/8GB S905XQ_V2.0 2017.05.16

It became bricked when I tried to flash different atvXperience firmware img files with the Amlogic USB burn tool. I had successfully flashed it with a version posted by minixfreak on the freaktab forums.
Although not with exactly the same specs, it worked pretty well except for the remote control wouldn't function. So I tried to flash again with what I thought was the stock firmware but unfortunately, that bricked the box pretty good. I tried to revert to the atvXperience firmware that worked from the post, but it now always fails at 7% when trying to format with USB tool. In all cases, I've tried every possible combination of pushing in the reset button in the AV port, shorting the NAND pins, switching the order of USB ports... The box always has a red light when powered and is always recognized by the USB Burn Tool driver when connected to the OTG port on the box but always stops at 7% when it attempts to format.
I hooked up a serial usb/ttl cable to capture boot output, turned on the box and it seems the box is in an infinite loop with the following output:
LOOP:8F;EMMC:800;NAND:85;SD:800;USB:8;LOOP:90;EMMC :800;NAND:85;SD:800;USB:8. It appears the bootloader is corrupt or maybe has been erased.
I tried making a bootable sd card using both burncard maker and bootcard maker but that didn't work either as it can't get past intial boot attempt, even pressing reset or shorting nand pins. I'm not sure if it's because of the boot loop or perhaps incorrect firmware. I haven't been able to find the definitive stock firmware anywhere. I would appreciate help in finding this elusive firmware.
I've scoured the internet for a solution and tried many different things but nothing can get me out of this loop. I'm now at a dead end.
I once had a bricked router that I was able to fix by connecting usb/ttl and putty and repeatedly hitting Ctrl-C after rebooting to get a CFE prompt. At that point I was able to manually flash the router with firmware and revive it. Maybe there's a tool available that would possibly do something like that with the android box?
Also possible I guess that something in the hardware is toast and it's just a paper weight now. Anyway, any help and suggestions would be appreciated.

I will not boot at all even with the sd card, the USB tool seems to see the box every time i plug it in with the usb cable. i have tried i believe ever IMG I was able to find for the 905 all fall at Uboot some before.
Any help would be nice i have been reading for almost 2 weeks on this one to the best i can comprehend

Ok i went ahead and bought second T95 S1 2/16 same as the 1 above I need some help to boot TWRP on it and how to get a full back up img that i might be able to use USB Burn tool to fix the first 1 if that is possible.
I have tried to read about it
1st try was to take twrp img rename it to recovery on an sd card and press rest button and power up with th sd card in no go
2nd try was to install the twrp manager and install it from there no go
3rd try was to install a terminal app Typed SU the typed reboot recovery with twrp on sd card still no go that worked fin on my T95Z plus but not this T95 S1

OK so far i have not been able to get a TWRP that i can backup the good matching box I have tried half dozen or more
2.8.5.1_K200 sticks at the T95 logo
3.2.3.0 sticks at logo
S905W_TWRP_alpa boots but nothing in the back up section does not mount my SD card but see's a USB stick
TWRPq201_N-3.2.1.0 Split screen still does not have any thing to check under backup doesnot seem to mount anything but the usb stick
I Have tried Rickys AMLogicFlashTool Port TWRP tab
Selecte Pull recovery from device then create recovery and it goes to 40% and stays there I did not check the box Flash after porting
Im not sure if there is another way to do a complete back up in windows with this box

Update I was able to flash an img that Mergoo69 over at Atvxperience was able to get from the vendor box is back to stock
Hope this helps someone with a T95 S1 his img says 1/8 mine is a 2/16 but seems to work fine took USB burn tool abot 5 minutes to load. Hopefully someone can use this img to port this to 1 of the great roms

Hello all,
I tried to install ROM ATVExperience but without sucess.
I tried with another sd card (I haven't cable USB Male/Male).
When I boot the box with the button reset pushing, I see a logo and very quickly screen became black and tv saif "no signal" like the cable was not connected.
I tried to change cable, I tried another port on my TV but nothing.
I this the installation of the rom doesn't work properly and not my box are bricked.
Do you have some idea for help me or do you think my box is dead ?
some informations about my box : Bqueel K12 - amlogic S912 - 2G RAM.

This box was constantly freezing. Read somewhere that it requires a new firmware. The firmware that was on the box when I got it was 20181229. Tried to install a new firmware TANIX TX3 MAX & MINI "DUAL OS EDITION from usb stick using the method according to Tanix-box.com website " UPDATE FROM TF/USB MEMORY" . The software was loading fairly slowly so I stepped away for a moment and when I returned I had a blank screen on TV. Rebooted the box but only received the boot display and a black screen. realized I had bricked the box, Tried to download the same software using the usb burning tool but no go. I then tried the firmware TANIX TX3 MINI 20171220 using the usb burning tool. It downloads for about 7 seconds and then stops with an error. Obviously the wrong file. Here are the pics of my card. Sure hope someone can help me out. If I have to short a pin can you give me some details as I am pretty new at this. I do now have the original firmware and have looked everywhere, but can't find it. Thanks for any help on this issue, I've been reading and looking for a solution foe quit some time now.

I installed TX3 mini 20181210.img on the box nd it worked. But the box is still freexing. Anyone else having this issue?

Yo could try my custom Android TV 9 ROM, there are tx3 versions available, may work for you but no guarantees,

No doesn't work. Keep getting getinitial error
Hello there! Ive got problem with boot of my device or/and problem with USB Burning Tool.
First of all ive tried few hours to put right image to my device. When i tried with S905W but got problems with Uboot in USB Burning Tool ("0x32030201]Uboot/Get result/DiskInitial error". But i tried S905X and it went well but only when i uncheck erase flash and boot sections. That was the only way to finish burning correctly. And of course its not working and hanging on Aidens Rom Logo (i was w8ing more than 5 mins).
When i check "erase flash and boot" sections ive got those mostly
[0x10105002]Romcode/Initialize DDR/Read initialize status/USB Control setup error
[0x00101004]Erase bootloader/Lowper/Identify/Error result
And yes ive done the Mask Rom thing :/

only thing ican suggest is keep trying roms, maybe s905x will stick, it has for a couple of people before

They have installed a different version on this device. The remote does not control, does not find wifi, does not connect to ethernet. I couldn't find original software. I found some stuff but I couldn't install it.

I have been using W95 S905W android box since early 2018. Over that time, I have tested multiple firmware on it and all the compatible ones have worked without issues. Eventually, I reverted to the stock and used it for about 2 years. One day, I noticed lagging on the device and decided to reboot it but it didn't power on. Since September last year, I've been trying to flash the stock rom and the rest that had worked before but I have not succeeded. I'm getting the error uboot/get result/diskinitial always at 7%. The box is successfully connecting to my computer even without pressing the reset button. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks.
