Redmi Note 5 Pro Water Damaged. Need HELP urgent - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So just 3 days back, my Redmi Note 5 Pro fell into a bucket and I instantly picked it up in 3 secs and when I was drying it (i forgot to switch it off) the screen went off. I took it to the service repair center where they were initially saying that only some components of the Motherboard were damaged but changed it to that the motherboard was fully dead and i need to replace it with a new one. But after reaching home when I connected it to the charger to see some hope I found out that the display was little bit flickering the image of a battery being charged but that only occurred for a few secs and went off but the notification light was still on. I waited for 2 hrs and when I came back the led light was blinking whenever I charged it or power on it. I followed this video on youtube "XIAOMI REDMI DEAD | Only Notification light blinks | Solved." by GOODTIMES Tech and managed to stop the blinking but the phone still wont boot up. Once the mi logo did flicker like the battery did but shared the same fate and went off
CURRENT Situation:
Phone vibrates when powered on with the led blinking only 3 times
Phone's led light doesn't blink when charged and stays on like it should
when connected to my PC the device is recognized but the USB debugging is disabled so I cant access my phone's data either
Phone still doesn't boot up
Battery/Charger doesn't warm up when charging but the LED light stays on
I want to atleast recover my data (photos, vids, etc.) from my phone however the usb debugging is not enabled and the device is recognized by the pc. So any possible way to enable USB debugging through computer?
but if the phone can still be repaired in any other way without replacing the motherboard then please do tell.
I just need to recover my data from my phone atleast (not backed up unfortunately)

Phone only charges while turned off

My HTC One will only charge when the phone is off, not sure at all why this is. It was unlocked and has the stock rom on it, but it fails to recognize the device completely, when it is turned on and plugged into the wall or a usb port on my computer.
The phone however, will be recognized via fastboot and will charge either through AC or USB. I successfully was able to fastboot and push cm 10.2 on it. Still remains the same problem as before.
I cleaned the port out of the bottom to free it of dust and debris but no luck.
The phone itself will have a solid red charging light for 6 seconds, then it turns into a dim red light for 8 seconds, the led then turns off for 5 seconds and then the cycle repeats. The phone can only charge to 99% and never will show a green light for it fully charged, even after 2 days on the charge.
What the heck is the problem? I have read too many issues in regards to this and HTC has no acknowledged this one bit.
Do I have to replace the USB charging port? I ask that since my bootloader is unlocked.
Seems that on a clean restart and on airplane mode, the phone can't even hold a day charge from 25%..
My device started doing the same out of the blue. All was working fine untill about an hour ago. Now my device will not charge while the device is on. And no usb cable is being detected.
SOLUTION>>>?????

I ended up selling it and going back with my LG OG pro. Warranty it, you will not find a solution as I wasted hours upon end looking for one.
Same problem here
I'm having the same problem since two days ago. Anybody can help?
Thanks.

Phone not powering on after screen replacement

Hi everyone, this is my first post on XDA.
My S3 had a broken screen, so I wanted to get it fixed. The repair shops quoted quite a hefty price for the repair (even though it was just the glass that was, not the digitiser) so I bought a kit to repair it myself. The repair went smoothly, and I didn't need to do anything to the actual LCD display. However, when the repair was finished, the phone would not turn on. I assumed it had a flat battery (it was on 5% when I started the repair) so I plugged the phone in. The phone's LED lit in an orange colour, that i've never seen before. So I left it for 1 hour, then I came back. The phone still had an orange LED lit. The phone would not turn on. I kept the plug in and took the battery out and the phone vibrated. Then I plugged the phone back in and a red LED lit. I've left it like that for 2 hours, and the phone would still not turn on. I plugged it back into my PC and the LED lit green. The phone would still not turn on but the PC showed "GT-I9300" as a Media Device in the File Explorer but it didn't have anything on it. The phone now displays a green LED whenever I plug it into any normal charger. When I unplug it, the power button makes the phone vibrate when I press it.
Please could you help me? I need a phone.

Red led is charging, green led is charged. Orange led.. Never known it to use orange so i assume its a fault.
It does seem like the phone is booted up and running yet the screen shows nothing. Possibly halted in post?. Have you double checked your work for loose connections etc?. What are the chances of the replacement being faulty?.
I wish I stole my HTC M9.
I didn't actually remove or do anything to the LCD, so it can't be lose connections etc.
I left it overnight on the green LED and it still isn't turning on, plugged in or not.
I'm going to call Samsung to see if they can fix anything or if I need a replacement phone (its about 3 years old so not under warranty though)
It isn't turned on, I tried calling the phone and it went straight to voicemail. And I get no startup sounds, nothing.

Samsung will charge if it's out of warranty.
So what exactly did you do if you didnt disassemble it?
I wish I stole my HTC M9.
Going to send it off to Samsung. I literally removed the screen's glass and placed a new one on.
Can you do that without damaging the digitiser? I would have thought they'd be "married" in some way or other ie glue.
I wish I stole my HTC M9.

Fingerprint Sensor Issue (SD)

Just wondering if anyone might have ran into the same issue as I have.
I own a Xiaomi Redmi Note3, at the time this issue started I was currently on Cyanogen 13 Rom with the fingerprint working fine along with everything else and after about 2 weeks I noticed my display turned off while I still had over 50% battery, and would not turn back on. At first I thought it was a battery issue so I tried charging the phone but the display remained off while the notification LED blinked red, after about 2 hours I was able to turn the phone on like nothing had happened while the charger was still plugged in and after about 2 more hours the display turned off again. After this second time I was not able to turn the phone back on for about 2 days and when I tried plugging it into the computer it would be recognizeed as HS-USB Diagnostics 900E(Diagnostics mode). At this point I thought I had bricked the phone and after trying every method I could find online I came across a hardware method to boot into EDL mode by unplugging the battery and usb ribbons from the board, this method also did not work at first but I noticed that when the fingerprint ribbon was unplugged from the motherboard I was able to force the phone into some kind of test mode where I could test all the hardware buttons and functions of the phone, I was even able to boot EDL mode, so at this point I flashed MIUI7 stable version but I noticed that now no matter which ROM I have flashed as soon as I connect the fingerprint senso to motherboard the LCD either fades to black or green and in both cases the phone is forced into HS-USB Diagnostics 900E(Diagnostics mode).

Dead Huawei Ascend G6-L11, red light blinks only once when I plug in the charger

The phone is approximately 3 years old.
After a while the sound stopped working on certain apps, after which it stopped working on everything.
Then, it suddenly shut down and never turned back on again.
Whenever I connect the charger the red light blinks for less than a second and the phone remains unresponsive.
I can't boot the phone on any mode, no matter what buttons I push.
If anyone could help me with how to install a stock ROM or something, I would appreciate it.
Thanks!

Dead phone

Hey there. I found a bit old phone in my house, Huawei G730-U10 with MTK6582. Here's problem:
Phone won't turn on at all (no reaction) with battery in and USB out.
With battery in and USB in (connected to charger or PC, no matter what), at first it turns on red led that stays still, and after some time it starts vibrating with interval of about 10 seconds and PC sees it for 2 secs (it connects and after 2 secs - disconnects), then everything repeats. I assume it's bootlooping, but there's no anything on screen (it doesn't even turn on, full darkness). This continues even after taking out USB, only way to stop it - take out battery and place it back.
With battery out and USB in, red led starts blinking with very quiet beeping (very very very quiet).
As you could guess - recovery, fastboot and other things aren't working.
I've checked main board, everything is ok, connected and working fine.
I think there's problem in ROM (not firmware ROM, but ROM that's read-only memory). Something's wrong, maybe there's wrong preloader (or there's no preloader at all), maybe boot partition is damaged, I don't know.
Service center tried to fool me on buying new board for 100$ (althrough it costs 40 on aliexpress), I think they didn't even look at it, so I can't trust them.
I don't need suggestions like "try to flash new rom", you think I didn't try? How is this possible if I can't make PC to see phone for more than 2 secs? Flashtool isn't working even without battery mode.
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks for help.
