So my poco f1 doesn't increase GPU and CPU usage even if fps in games starts decreasing. Also antutu benchmark uses 100%GPU during test and test gives optimal score. Marvel future fight sees huge drop sometimes. Also I am running latest miui

Can anyone help me to increase performance of mido while heavy gaming (like modern comba5) I am getting fps drop in close combat (because frequency ramping down to 1690)

Throttling ??? Keep device cool
My scores were 1200 (approx) and 3400 (approx) in geekbench 4 — okay is 1600 and 4100
and 3d mark 2075, when for my smartphone okay is 2443
apps are closed, i had even restarted my phone.
In antutu it shows right results, as the other models'.
Please help. My phone works slower? Games might run not so well?
Benchmark scores don't reflect real world usage so don't bother about it. Your phone will play games well
This tablet is the same as the shield tablet how come it play games so badly if this can begin what’s the best custom rom and Kerman to play games on?
It overheats and throttles. The Tegra K1 in this tablet is not the same as the one in the Shield tablet. Same GPU, much different CPU. This one gets hotter. It really is too hot for a fanless tablet if you try to run it at full utilization for a long period of time, as a game will.
You can try underclocking the CPU. That will probably make it perform better for games because the GPU will run faster.
Actually it's not really "overheating" exactly. It has a temperature limit and once it hits that temp, it slows down the CPU and GPU to stay under that temp. It's a power limit. It uses too much power to run at full speed continuously for a long period of time in a tablet.
I'm using Slimrom with Fire Ice Kernel.
PUBG runs pretty well using gfxtools with low setting + 30fps.
But the game began to lag after 15min due to thermal throttle.
Will try the heatsink mod later and hopefully able to improve the performance...
Hi Guys. I play Black desert mobile on poco and when I have High graphics the gpu usage is around 30% while the cpu is 25%. Everything is ok, I can't say something about that. The point is that when I set the graphics to max settings, the usage of the graphics card goes between 35% - 60% and the processor is around 35%. For this reason, I would like you to tell me, how much the usage of gpu affects the overall 'health' and performance of the mobile, if it matters at all . What I mean is, whether it is 30% or 60%, will it affect the mobile in general? For example, I can use max graphics all the time without damaging the phone?

Ok thank you. Are you sure though ? I mean have you checked if there is any difference between the battery power after and before playing for many hours ? Or with the performance in general? Because I can play sometimes many hours a day.
Hai, i have updated th phone to miui 12 about 2-3 weeks ago. Now, the maximum speed is only 2649Mhz. While previously, it was 2800 Mhz. I have confirmed with antutu, cpuz and cpu throttling. Benchmarking also got reduced after update.

It doesn't always stays at 2.8ghz. It may vary according to workload, temps, etc. It is normal. Kernel downclocks big cores to save power. Every time you perform a benchmark it's never going to give the same value. Sometimes it may be higher or lower. Reboot your phone every time you perform benchmarks. And try to replicate the same external conditions as they can affect the end result. So there are various factors.
Ok, but antutu shows the maximum speed of my phone as 2649mhz. I am attaching the screenshot. It reaches 2649 mhz certain times. But didnt cross that barrier after the update. Previously, cpu speed goes to 2.8 ghz and even stay there for a while during gaming and other intense tasks
Use over clock kernel
I noticed after updating to MIUI 12 that Geekbench score is lower especially in multicore (1300 point) while in Crdroid I got over 2000 point
i got an average of 1200 on multi core after miui 12 update. before update, the score varies between 1500 and 1900. I think, Xiaomi had underclocked the processor in miui 12. i don't think it's for increasing battery duration as after the update, the duration reduced significantly.
I have one more doubt regarding floating windows. i can only use one app at a time as floating window. I think it would be better if you could use more (we have 4 corners!)
Well, every update is not good for phone's performance.
Even in MIUI 11 i got better performance.
Currently I am running MIUI 9.6.25 android 8 and here is a geekbench result that I conducted a few minutes before -
https://photos.app.goo.gl/9k2ak36EH8uQsNJ29
I did this test on stock ROM and stock kernel.
And CPU and GPU were also on stock frequencies.
So it is sure that there is a performance degradation in the updates.
