Hi, I bought this smartphone, but the data connection never worked.
APN is OK, I tested my simcard in another phone, and its OK.
He connect with the provider, has an IP, but not received pkts, just send pkts, so, he don't open/download anything.
I test another roms, cm9, cm10, and alot of others. I tried to change the modem, but without sucess.
When I put the code: *#*#4636#*#*, I can see:
Data attempts: 0
Data sucesses: 0
PPP send: 1736pkts, 127559bytes
PPP received: 0pkts, 0 bytes ( sometimes 1pkts)
So I just send, but not receive packets?
Thanks for you help.:good:

Yes, It's a new phone.
Model i9300.
IMEI is the same.
FW: IMM76D.i9300UBBLG2.
I tried another roms, kernels etc, but no sucess.
So I returned to the oficial one, because I have no idea whats happening, and if I no discover, I'll take it to the warranty.
Thanks.
what you can do is try a hard reset of your phone , then flash the stock Rom.

I already tried that, without sucess.
First, I guessed the problem is the simcard, because phone is new.
But I put the sim in another cellphone, and internet works fine.
Then, I bought another simcard from other provider, and internet worked in another cellphone, but in i9300.. same problem.
what about WiFi ? is it working ?

That's right. Never had a successful connection, never.
wifi works fine. I guess the only problem is about the data connection.
I can't understand how just this problem is there.
thanks for your interested.

Hi, I have struggled for several hours now and really could use some help please.
I have a Viewpad 10e which is not an officially supported device with Google. I have installed the only custom rom out there from Sidenk - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1320592&page=41
There is no contact/people icon on there. I used to have this working with the market apk on the stock ICS rom last year but due to a recent upgrade from Viewsonic that stuffed my system so I had to reinstall. I cannot for the life of me think how I did it but I've downloaded loads of different packages relating to googlecontactssyncadapter.apk, contacts.apk and contactsprovider.apk. Some of them install but do nothing, some of them say the package cannot be parsed, some say there's a conflicting signature.
At this stage I have no idea what to do, I've downloaded loads of files, spent hours searching on google, read lots of different forums too. This device is not well supported and I have no idea where I'm going wrong so any help is very much appreciated.
I take it by no replies I've asked an awkward question
Can anyone point me in the right direction of where I should be looking if people cannot help here please?
No takers at all?
probably no oone knows the answer because the device isnt officially supported

first of all tell me the device model because due to all the extra text around it i cant tell what it is and ill try to find the stock rom for you to flash

Thanks but that's not the issue I'm having. The stock rom doesn't have Google contacts/people on it and never has. The custom rom never has. When I had the original gingerbread rom I managed to put on Google marketplace and contacts app on it. Later when ICS came out I managed to do it again.
Viewpad then released an auto update that kept nagging until I hit install. Then that wouldn't let me root so I went back to the custom rom Sidenk developed (he states set device as Asus Eeepad in his post to get more compatible apps on play). I thought all I had to do was update this with contacts.apk and googlecontactssyncadapter.apk but every version I have tried to install has come up 'application not installed' or unable to parse.
I know this device is capable of having contacts as I've done it before but I'm blown if I know how to now?
This has been driving my noodle potty for days now and I'd love some advice on what's likely to be going wrong

I reckon you can just reflash with official firmware to get back.
As a side question where did you find the recovery and custom firmware? I'm planning to do that to mine but cant find the thing anywhere.
Having the same issue With my watch Even i have tried flashing Stock firmware using odin But No Fruit.

Don't root your watch if you don't ready to lost it. I root it, flash cm 12.1. End up loop restart and below screen portion not response to touch anymore. Try to repair it at Samsung center, they not accept it and ask to change mother board first

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has advice on how to go about rooting a ZTE Nubia N1? I recently picked one up and while it performs pretty well, I don't think I can live without the Play Store.
I'm totally new to rooting but I have some development experience so if anyone's looking for help, resources etc. I'll do my best to provide what I can.
For reference I've already tried just installing the Play Store and services framework from APK mirror, no dice. Tried running KingRoot as well but as expected, no luck.
Any advice/direction/help is much appreciated!
Thanks!

Start by installing twrp recovery using fastboot method, visit 4pda site for nubia n1 you'll get the method, then flash a custom rom(download it from needrom site) setup your phone and then reboot again and flash supersu and reboot you'll be seeing supersu icon in your homescreen that's it[NOTE: every time you flash file in twrp reboot to recovery once flashing is done and perform quick not advanced wipe after rebooting to recovery, this is required only while installing custom rom not for supersu]

Sad
Im sad this phone is nice and all but.. A custom rom would speed it up so much kinda need root access to begin. I can port a rom myself but the actual process of a root i know and love has failed me. Would love an outside opinion... Maybe someone will respond?
