Hey, I'm looking for an answer, but I haven't found an answer. The Russians are installing treble systems onto the P20 Lite.
I tried any system (a or a/b) but to no avail, none starts, after uploading via twrp after reboot so we go back to twrp with bootloop.
Someone tried successfully? Thanks and best regards
Which trwp did you tried? Did you try to install thought fastboot? Sorry for My english

Hello guys!!
Previously I was running on marshmallow and I wanted to test emui 5 with nougat. So I flashed TWRP recovery without any problem after unlocking my bootloader.I then flashed a beta update for emui 5 and it went without any errors. But when I booted into the device there was no network in my cell.I tried to troubleshoot it but couldn't do much.So I thought of rolling back to previous version through my nandroid backup. So I booted my device to recovery but the TWRP recovery was gone..So I again tried to flash it..Every thing would go fine but when I rebooted to recovery it won't boot into TWRP..It would just freeze in there..I used TWRP recovery for Huawei honor 5x as it was compatible with my device.. can anyone help me..I would appreciate it a lot ?
Still no help
you need nougat compatible TWRP , marshmallow recovery won't work

Hi all,
Has someone seen before a "Nocheck Recovery" for RNE-Phones? Or has someone tried to build it?
It might be a whole solution for update processes.

I tested it myself. It worked.... But it had magisk on it and when i tried to install xposed it bootlooped. I tried to recovery from twrp backup but then only mi logo was on screen. Not even tried to boot. So with a unbrick pack i managed to flash with sp tools miui 8 and then that recovery that twrp backup. So if someone want to try miui 10 with rmn4 mtk nikel you can and that rom generator has expert options where you can tweak what you want to that miui 10. It had even split screen.

If you want to use xposed installer, try Xposed Framework for AOSP if failed try Xposed Framework for MIUI instead
I literally got my Mi Pad 4 (lte) today. Initially it had MIUI EU rom installed, but I somehow managed to wipe the system while trying to install Lineage 16, resulting in having no OS. After several hours of struggle, I managed to install MIUI 10 Chinese stock (10.3.2) via MiFlash. However, I cannot go pass the twrp password stage when I use twrp on adb. I tried formatting data a few times, but it didn't work. I tried adb sideload option from twrp to install twrp or any other ROM, but again, the data mounting issue got in the way. I am completely stuck, and I am desperate. I have tried many different versions of twrp available on this forum, but none of them worked. Could anyone possibly help me? Which twrp worked for you? I've tried:
"TWRP-20190104-3.2.3.0-3-clover.img"; "twrp-3.3.1-clover.img" (from unofficial twrp); "recovery-TWRP-3.2.3-0930-XIAOMI_PAD4(PLUS)-CN-wzsx150.img".
Any help would be hugely appreciated! Many thanks!!!
Problem solved! I used the latest version of the Chinese TWRP (by LR Team) which has a function to disable forced encryption. I needed to reboot the tablet a couple of times to achieve it, but eventually the password step on TWRP was gone! Many thanks to LR Team!! I still don't know what (else) I should do when the 'format data' option on TWRP doesn't remove the encryption. .. Anyway, I have now managed to install MIUI 10 EU then Pixel Experience without an issue.
Hello, i have been trying to install lineage on my huawei p8, but it does not work really good (i have a compiled lineage).
The problem is: I cant install TWRP Recovery.
I have installed the right twrp image from twrp site and when flashing it via heimdall suite it says "100% DONE OKAY", but i cant boot into it. I always get into eRecovery using the key combination, and when i use android apps like reboot managers and boot direct into recovery, i also dont get into twrp.
