Hi,
I have a Huawei Watch (1st Gen) which I use all the time in DND mode (I don't like the vibrations). The issue is that I always see that ugly DND icon (the stop sign) on top of my watchfaces.
I have the watch rooted, but I cannot figure out how to remove this icon.
Is there any way to modify the system to remove this icon from showing on top of the watchface?
Thank you!

Just picked up a Verizon V10, was shocked and saddened to find out that the current 6.0 ROM doesn't have root - all of my prior phones have been rooted going back to the original galaxy S, so I'm in a bit of shock haha.
One of the things that's driving me most crazy, is all the default icons cluttering up my notification bar - especially since they don't tell me anything I need to know. Specifically:
1. The battery icon (since I have percentage on, this is redundant).
2. NFC icon (I always leave it on, why do I want this icon?!)
3. Bluetooth icon (again, always on, always connected to my watch, not telling me anything...)
4. The 4G icon while I'm on Wifi
5. The HiFi icon (why would I even want to turn this off?!)
6. The Alarm icon (I have to wake up every day.. why do I need this icon)
Is there anyway to hide/disable these icons from showing, without root? Thanks in advance.

Hey All,
Is it possible to keep the notifications on the screen until dismissed. Or at least the notification count?
Sometimes during activity, walking/working the phone and watch will trigger a notification and it gets overlooked. But after 10seconds or so it clears off the watch face. Would be nice to see it stay until cleared.
Plugged through the settings and can't find anything.
Could be i am just blind or maybe it's not possible? Or perhaps it is with a root command?
Any help much appreciated.

Just like any android device, the notifications stay in the notification area (swipe from bottom) until you dismiss them (swiping to right).

For sure. That much is clear. But for instance the "lock screen" on a phone can also be configured to show notifications all the time so just glancing at your screen you can see that you have some without unlocking it.
On the watch I don't see any real way to , at a glance, see that you have waiting notifications without sliding up with a finger which requires waking the screen with the button or double tap.
Hello. I'd like to ask if there is an option, to edit those "quick replies" things direct from android notification bar. I mean for example - I'm using Google Keep and whenever i got reminder on notification bar, I had an option (directly from the bar) to snooze it for 1 hour, or change date and time (Later). Now (after factory reset) for Google Keep i have only to choose "Done" and "Later".
Why it changed? I really liked "Remind mi in 1 hour" option. Is it possible to edit those quick replies? Or it was changed by Google in some updates of Keep application?
Coming from a LGv20, where I used the following combo: Cute little bar at the top showed time & an icon for missed notifications (similar to the Always On Display), and an app called Dynamic Notifications.
The idea on the 2 of those, was: If I got a notification while I was able to look at my phone, Dynamic would show it to me, along with a preview of what the message is. You can slide to open it, ignore it for now, or delete it (depending on the app). If I wasn't looking at my phone, I'd at least see an icon on the top bar so I knew to go look.
AOD does fine for the time & you missed a notification, but when I get one, and my phone is sitting next to me, it's annoying to unlock the phone to check the notification.
Sadly, AOD & Dynamic notifications don't seem to work well together.

Now when the phone is on, I'm not getting my heads-up notifications, and I don't know i the LG did it on its own..o what. So I'm using an app called Heads-up at the moment. Heads-up also has a turn-on-phone feature, so I'm testing it and AOD display as a combination.
Oddly though, Go SMS isn't working with Heads-up, and I'm not always getting the Go SMS built in popup.

SO.. what is everyone doing for notification, both with phone on & off?
One last thing - edge lighting - looks neat, but I never put my phone face down. Would kind of kill AOD anyway, no?

It's driving me nuts that there is always this one notification that I cant disable.
I'm running Android 8.0.0 on the Sony Xperia XZ Premium (G8141) and I'm pretty sure that on previous android versions there was only a small icon at the very top right of the screen that indicated when do not disturb was on. Why is there this huge notification now?
And no, I cant disable the notification in the notification settings (Notifications of System UI) as its forced to stay on and I already set all categories to Importance Low. https://i.imgur.com/0kIHfU0.png "nicht sören" is "do not disturb"
With Root access, I'm willing to go to any length to get rid of this notification.
